7. Him Again

     She was so right that’s what I needed. We headed towards the woods that was behind my apartment complex that had high hemlock trees. Walked about ½ mile into the woods making sure no one’s around taking in the scents and sights all seems clear. Taking off my clothes and setting them in a hallow of a tree, and placing my ring and bracelet in a leather pouch around my neck I ready my self to shift. In the beginning it hurt like hell but through the years you embrace the pain and it turns into a warm heat that takes over, and you get fast I can change almost instantly now. I give my self over to Aurora in one swift motion bones crack and pop fur roses through my skin and I’m standing on all fours. We take off like a shot jumping chasing just enjoying our time. Giving full control over to Aurora she uses this time for hunting usually she goes after big game today it's black bear guess she wanted a little excitement. She was so focused on the hunt she didn’t notice the shadows that was starting to surround us.  

“AURORA SILKS!”

     She stopped dead in her tracks hair standing up on our back we got surrounded. 

“How is this possible Aurora we are in the middle of the woods, nothing bad has happened out here.”

“I don’t know Sol, but there is to many of them. How did they find us."

     They formed a perfect circle around us like someone was controlling them. That’s when it hit me the burning, he’s here. Is he the one controlling the silks?

“Solaris you feel that he's here it’s to soon we don’t know enough yet. I don’t think we can fight him in this form.” 

“Just stay like we are maybe he doesn’t know it's us.”

     Once again the burning started to grow unbearable but Aurora is stronger then me in our wolf form she can take the pain better.  She stood her ground through it and just like the first time the pain grew more intense. Everything got quite the voices faded and the silks started to drift way.  I know Aurora feels  the same dominating aura that I do. She digs our paws into the ground readying ourselves for an attack. I could feel a warmth behind us turning around there he was. Standing at the top of the ridge his presence demanding our attention. Aurora let out a low warning growl the reverberated through our chest. Then before we knew it he was in front of us, he moved faster then even we could see. 

     Standing before us he was tall at least 6’3 not an ounce of hesitation from him. Even while he stood in front of a giant white wolf that’s head met his chest and bared fangs. He was wearing a simple black t-shirt that clung to his well built frame you could see every muscle every curve. His biceps and chest strained against the fabric as if he was pushing out his chest. You could see his 6 pack and v-cut rippled under his shirt  guiding  your eyes down lower. I swear our checks are red under this white fur as we glance passed the bulge in his taught black jeans. His legs you could tell held the same muscle build as the rest. With our gaze ending in what looked like well worn black biker boots.

     He just stood there doing nothing but staring. I felt Aurora start to panic until she looked at his crimson eyes then she stilled and all the fight left her she sat and bowed her head, while still never breaking eye contact. What the hell was she doing we needed to do something not just give up we don’t know what he wants. Then for the first time he spoke with a silvery and husky voice with an undertone of authority. It captivated my attention immediately and all my thoughts stopped and I just stared at him right along with Aurora. What was happening to us?

“No need to be so hostile little wolf if I wanted to hurt you wouldn’t be standing before me.”

     Aurora answered with a huff. How could she be so calm the burning was  getting to be to much At least now we know for sure he’s the reason for it. He knelt down in front of us placed one of his large hands on top of our head and starting to pet us slowly tentatively like he was waiting for reassurance to continue. Aurora responded by nudging our head into his hand. Just like at the school the burning stopped and a rush of calmness and peace washed over me. How could this one man bring me to such a state of  tranquility. I don’t know him, his name, what he is it just doesn’t make sense but I don’t want it to go away I don’t want to loose this moment like last time. So harshly that I didn’t have time to comprehend it almost broke me. We had to play along see where this is going find out more about him. Find out what he wants from us. His other hand joined in rubbing both our ears in soft circles and eventually found its way to scratch our lower jaw. I swear if Aurora was a cat she'd be purring right now, she was about to roll over and let him scratch our belly. 

“Aurora snap out of it your not a house dog this is about to be humiliating”

     With a shake of her head and a step back instantly regretting it as the burning took place once again front and center except this time Aurora couldn’t stand against it. She whimpered and stubbed to the ground. I could feel her fading like she was going to faint. How can a Lycian faint? I knew there was no way I was going to be alone and unconscious with him. With out a thought about being naked in front of him I shifted back. A black shirt was thrown at my face, before I could look up at him. I pulled it over my head facing way knowing full well he had an all access view of my ass. Did I just hear him take a sharp breath?. Shit now do I turn around and look at him or do I run. 

     With Aurora being MIA I was on my own. I told my self I would find out more the next time I saw him but It was supposed to be on my terms. Right now this moment is not what I had in mind. Standing more or less naked in the middle of the words with a strange man who I know Is standing shirtless behind me. It’s killing me not to turn around and take every inch of him in to my memory. His scent surrounds me I just want to curl up and melt into it. What is wrong with me? It’s just a shirt it's not the actual man. Ugh yes I need to go to be far away where I could actually think. So I took off without looking back because if I did I know I would be left to his mercy whatever that maybe. He was able to get the last word in before I got to far away to hear

“Run, Run little wolf just know I can always find you!”
