Author's Pov

Raymond was raging inside. That strange woman frustrated him beyond his imagination. She made him do whatever she wanted him to do. In his whole life, no one ever dared to make him do anything, and no one had over-powered him before. But here, her action only aggravated the situation from his point of view. Strangely he couldn't resist her demands. She helped him to fight against those goons, and now she was taking him to the infirmary. She was stiff yet calm. She was persistent, and her determination level was high. But what's with addressing him with those ridiculous names, old man and good boy. He didn't know how come he was tolerating a woman, he despised them. Here, he was getting help from a strange lady.

Raymond was observing her keenly. She was cautious all the time. After she helped him to get seated in the waiting room, she put a blank expression, and her eyes were cold. She had a deadly side, which she showed around to the people. The receptionist's hands were trembling to give her a form to fill his details. He understood, she was known to her and the hospital staff as well. She sat beside him on a seat and started to fill the form with the wrong information. She put his name as Herny Brown, 37. Raymond started to give her a death glare.

She felt a burning stare from her side, so she said without looking at him, "Don't look at me like that. People are watching. They are wavering on you."

Raymond looked around and watched the staff were looking at them with suspicion. He gave them a cold glare and kept a hard expression on his face. He heard snickers, and the strange girl said, "Done." She submitted the form and helped me to take to the doctor.

She and a ward boy helped him to lay down on the hospital bed. The doctor came, he was near the sixties. He looked at the girl and sighed helplessly. Her gaze narrowed at him to observe the doctor's expression. He came near to Raymond and started to treat his wound and stitched his wounded head. It wasn't new to him.

He looked toward the girl and said, "Did you do this to him?"

She lifted a brow and said, "Why would I bring someone whom I just have bitten?"

The doctor chuckled to get her witty response. He said, "Maybe you became remorseful after."

She immediately said, "Oh no, Oldman. I feel no remorse. But I assure you, I didn't lay a finger over him. He was the victim."

The doctor nodded and said, "That's fine. Are you hurt, child?"

She said, "Nah, some minor cuts."

He observed her and stated, "But your knuckles say otherwise."

Raymond looked at her knuckles, those were indeed swollen and reddish.

She started, "I had a motorbike race." "And a fight." The doctor completed it.

"Alright, Herny. You can go home, but you need to take rest for a week. Your head is going to take time to heal. You need to take the medicines I prescribed. Your right leg and left arm will cure within two days. And you, Ms. John, don't forget to take your pain killer and put ice cubes over your knuckles." She nodded firmly and said, "Yes, Doc." With that, she paid the doctor's visit bill and led me to a medicine shop.

She bought the medicines and dragged him toward a nearby cafe. She told him to take a seat, and she went to the counter. She bought a hot chocolate and a protein shake with sandwiches. She pushed a sandwich and hot chocolate cup toward him. He stared at her blankly.

She said, "What now? Have these."

Raymond said, "I had dinner."

"And you were in a fight," She replied. He gave her a death glare.

She said, "Adjust your fake beard, that is about to slip. And have your food. I have to take you home."

He adjusted his beard and said, "Don't bother. I can manage."

Arya became frustrated. She never talked or spent much time with anyone, except her family and friends. She was being generous. But that spoilt brat was getting on her nerves. Exhaustion took over her after her race and fighting with those bulky men. She snapped, "You can't. Just do as I am saying." With that, she started to feed Raymond forcefully.

He looked like he was resisting him from killing her. Does Arya care? No. She knew how to protect herself. She made Raymond stunned and amused. But he masked his emotions.

She exhaled sharply and said, "Take your medicine with your hot chocolate."

Later they went to the parking lot. Arya bought an extra sandwich and a milkshake in a package. She wanted to give those refreshments to Lucy, a beggar, who lived in front of the building of the clinic. She climbed off the bike.

Raymond was observing her curiously while sitting on the back of her bike. She came near the beggar, who happened to have a bicycle. She was asleep. So, Arya started to ring the bell of that bicycle. Lucy woke up jolted and looked at her tormentor who dared to break her sweet dream. Lucy said, "You again?"

Arya forwarded the food package and said, "Hello to you too, Itty Bitty. Your food is here. Good night." She turned around and walked forward to her bike.

Lucy frowned and said, "Night, weird girl." Arya smirked.

Raymond found that interesting. He found out, he was not the only one who was being annoyed by the strange girl. She hopped in and said, "Tell me your address." Raymond told her his hotel name, and she started to ride that direction.

Raymond was in a daze. He didn't understand what was attracting him about her the most. She was a racer. She hid knives in her shoe sholes. She knew how to fight and got some killer moves. She could handle guns. She was practically a wicked lady. Merciless.

He remembered the doctor's indication about her bringing a lot of patients before. She was a trouble maker. Not new to her to get into any fight. That's the reason all staff knew her and feared her.

He was stiff yet calm. She showed gentleness toward him.

She wore a cold facade and an emotionless face. Her brown eyes darker than usual, which has intense heat. She had a dark side. She had many secrets. Conceited much.

She was attractive. Pearl-shaped face, with straight eyes, fuller lips, and high cheekbone. She was tall and petite. She was perfection. A mystery.

His thought interrupted. Then he observed the surroundings. She halted her bike near his hotel entrance. His bodyguards pointed guns toward her.

He heard her said, "Are they yours? If yes, tell them to put their guns down. If not, I am going to trick them. I have guns and you have some too. Use your word."

Raymond mentally growled. She surely does love to put herself into trouble. He directed a wave toward his bodyguards, and they put their guns down.

He hopped off and walked toward the entrance. He didn't want to say anything or look at her for one last time. He feels suffocated. He was feeling like losing someone. Never felt that kind of feeling in his entire life.

The funny thing was, they didn't see each other before. But he heard the Dr. addressed her as Ms. John.

He heard her voice. Damn it.

He turned around with a frown and saw her walking toward him with a paper bag.

She forwarded that and said, "Your medicines. Take them on time. You must take some rest for a few days. Take care." He took that package. Their hands made contact for a fraction of a second. Spark was there. He felt it. But she didn't. Or ignored it.

With that, she hopped in her motorbike and started the engine to put her bike into life.

She made a u-turn and left. She never looked back.

But he did watch her. From afar. Until she was out of his sight.

He went back to his suite. His bodyguards and PA looked shocked and concerned. But Raymond paid no attention. They were also shocked to see a woman with him. They never saw any woman near him, where he took a lift from an unknown woman. Who was she?

Raymond freshened up and took his medicine.

He laid down in a comfortable position. He informed his PA to reschedule his Jet after two days.

He started to think about the whole evening.

From attack to a new character's arrival in his life.

He never let a woman come near to him. He loathed them. Yet, a mystery girl helped him without bribing anything. He let her in. He needed help.

She didn't ask for his name, neither he asked.

She saw his hotel, still showed no admiration.

She made him vulnerable.

She attracted him. He admired her fighting skill, gentleness, personality. She was unique.

He remembered his father's statement.

'When it's dark men see stars'

Is this possible? Does that mean?

No.

I don't need anyone.

Raymond wished to never see her again.

But they will run into each other shortly. None of them was aware of their fate.

Where Arya was exhausted. It was a long day for her. That faked-beard guy was a big whiner, pissed her off in no time.

She needed a cold shower and a long nap.

He didn't even bother to say goodbye. She doesn't care. After all, she was the daughter of the military couple. They taught her and her brother to help people selflessly, you should stay wise where others prefer to stay fool. So she let that go.

She never stayed for that long with any of the victims. She willingly stayed by his side and dropped him at his directed location. She didn't know why she stayed. She stopped thinking and decided to take a shower. She changed into a comfy nightdress and popped herself on her bed. She had a hectic day. She decided to forget about that day's incident and will take a rest for a whole day. With that, she fell asleep.
