2020-10-06 06:52:10We arrived an hour before the other set of people who are also here so I took it upon myself to do some site seeing while everyone else is busy getting to know each other and figuring out the hiking plans but to be honest I came to relax not just to see the mountains, I walked around the area until I can across a small path behind the building and follow the trail until I came across a beautiful twenty-Twenty BMW M five just parked outside of the small cabin that sat alone within the woods (I wonder who has rented it) I heard by the clerk that the cabins are highly expensive and recommended but I settled for a simple room since we're only here until Sunday night or Monday morning, but I should head back before I freeze to death.
Just before I was about to turn and leave the front door opened and I could see from where I was standing a guy with baggy sweats and a loose fitted hoodie locked the door and made his way towards the car but as he got a bit closer I could see who he was( isn't that Mr. Williamson Josie's boss) so he's here for the hiking trip as well I wonder which group he's with, I didn't allow myself to speak right away I waited until he pulled out and I stepped out in clear view with a wave "are you lost? I can give you a ride back down the pathway" "uh no Im apart of one of the groups on the hiking trip and I was just wondering around exploring a bit, but if you don't mind I could use that ride" I said with a smile once he opened the door I took a seat in the passenger side and locked my seatbelt "I'm Iven it's nice to meet you" "likewise I'm Peter but everyone just calls me Pete" I shook his hand as he drove towards the resort (God this men smells like spring).
He parked his car next to the huge RV and we got out while making small talk "so I'm assuming that your the owner of Williamson CO. Correct?" "Well no it's my father's business I'm just the Executive Manager there" "my younger sister works there, Josie Stendwelle!" "oh ok yeah shes one of the Department Managers, I admire her energy I mean she's always so dedicated and dependable" "yeah that sounds like JoJo she's always been like that even when we were kids" we talked about anything and everything until we found the rest of the group preparing for the hike "hey Pete where ya been buddy we were waiting for you" "I went for a walk around the area and I met Iven here" "nice to meet you I'm David but everyone calls me Dave for short term" "it's my pleasure David, I was just getting to know Pete here a bit better but I must catch up with my buddies or else I'll get lost haha" "well if you ever need help reading the map or to just talk let me know I'll be happy to help" "heres my card, why don't you message me a bit later and we can finish our conversation!" "I definitely will ttyl" as he waved bye to me and David I couldn't help but notice the long snake hanging down against his thigh and I immediately felt my face get warm I glanced over at David as he struggled to stop clenching his teeth.

Lastnight was a bit disturbing I know it confused Peter more then it did me and that's what's bothering me because I want nothing to trouble him at all I try to make everything better and less stressful for his sake I know that meeting up with a stranger was his idea because they're both writers and Pete thought that everything would go smoothly and civil but the tension was so damn thick it could be sliced with a knife with ease.
