14. The Alpha's Rival

Balthier sits and tries to focus his mind into a contract made several days ago. He must finished everything here before, meddling with his brother's mate. He wants it to be ended, he can't see his brother got his 'haplily ever after' life, while his is bitter.

He must drown himself into huge piles of documents needed to be signed and approved. His journey to Singapore recently made his works overloaded.

Baltheir Damme DeVille is the second sons of the DeVille family. His father Damian Rouge DeVille is known as the ruthless and powerfull Alpha of the biggest pack in Russia. His mother, and himself moved from Russia years ago. Their spirit is too wild for the pack. His father, meanwhile stay at the pack house, leading the werewolves around the area. 

DeVille family own not only a huge area in Russia, but also is the owner of several chain businesses around Europe, Asia and America's continent. The pack that his father lead needs economical support which came from the DeVille huge chain businesses.

Balthier is the owner of several education degree at The University of Oxford. He has his own multinational company, with his name as the sole owner. He started it ten years ago by selling his old sport car, and used the money to start the business,  and here he is.. The richest businessman in Athens. The young master own several beautiful villas in many countries; Greece, Italy, France, Morroco, Egypt, Dubai, Hongkong and some cities in the US. With all his hardwork, he became the face of successful men under thirty.

His brother on the other side, followed their father's path. He was trained to be the next Alpha of the pack, eventhough Father asked him to take care of the family's company for now. Blaze DeVille is the perfect son for their parents, he got good grades, he got the best physical state, and the most important thing is.. He is the next Alpha of the Volcano Pack. 

Starting from the young age, Balthier and Blaze got the same physical training, until Blaze shifted for the first time. Everyone's eyes focused on Blaze alone, they were treated diffetently. That was the reason Blaze and Balthier had a not-healthy-relationship as a sibling. Balthier always walks behind his brother, everywhere he goes...people always compare, the old or the young brother. 

Balthier shifted when he was fifteen, yet he didn't get any different treatments his brother got when he first shifted. The most hurtfull moment was when Balthier got his master degree with the highest achievements, yet... None if his family came to witness it. Baltheir felt like an outcast of the DeVille family. 

One full week, seven days straight Balthier did his duty, signing, correcting documents, hundreds of them. Almost fifteen business contracts were made under his own hands. The brain which everyone admits to be genius, but unknown and unheard to his own family. 

A phone rings at the Athena Business Sol. Group which is located at Dalan El 98. The man doesn't have his personal secretary right now to answer his call.  His latest secretary only last for three hours at the very first day. The man could be nice and friendly, but his real personality is bad tempered. The previous secretary lasted longer than the other, but Balthier must fire the lady because she told the entire building about their 'night escapades' the next day she was fired. Balthier is now depends on his old assistant, Albus who is always ready for everything. Starting from writing documents, reserving hotels, until giving him a good massage. 

"Kalimera, De Ville speaking," said Bathier, he is calmer than usual, he has finished his work almost eighty percent that day. In front of him,  the last contract must be handled carefully and that was why he left it until the very last. 

"Oo..yes..yes...Good morning!! Kalimera to you too Balthier!," said a lady on the other line. 

"Oh.. Not you again Mom!" Baltheir dissappointed knowinh that the call is from his mother. His calm behaviour changed drastically. "What?"

"I couldn't contact you handphone my son!"

Balthier smirks, he did block his mother's number after the last call. 

"I am good, healthy... Alive. Now what do you want?"

"Oo.. Baltheir... Your brother has gone mental!" Mentioning his brother Balthier became intersted. 

"What happened?"

"Your brother, Blaze is a crazy person!" Repeat the mother. 

"How come Mother? He is a perfect son for the family, the perfect Alpha to be for the pack. How could you said that the next Alpha is mental?" Mocked Balthier. 

"Oh.. Stop it would you! You are precious too for the family. Now... Listen. Do something. You are smart!"

"What? Whay do you want me to do with Blaze?"

"Your brother left the office, to become a lecturer!"

"I knew about that,  so what do you want?" Balthier answered. 

"You knew? You knew..  Why you didn't tell me before? Balthier. The worst is.. He fell in love with a human. Ordinary unpretty human!"

"Mother.. I'm getting bored. That was a very lame informations, I knew about it a week ago. He fell in love with his student, that was the reason he left the business and became a lecturer. There's a wild theory that the girl is his mate, you know?"

"Mate? Oh...moongoddes please.. No. No... Impossible! He is the next Alpha, he can't have a human mate. A human couldn't be a Luna."

"Theory Mother.. Only possiblities. We don't know yet, because he haven't marked the girl!" Balthier knew his mother will get angrier after each words he said, he enjoyed it. 

"Mark? Oh my goddess! No!"

"So what do you want, Mother?" He said at last. 

"Come...here!! Please come here, and make your brother see the light. Please.. for me, please. Maybe Blaze is jinxed by the girl.. I don't know.. Maybe some ancient spell which work on werewolves."

"Ha it is impossible Mom, Blaze likes the girl.. That's for sure!"

"So will you come?" His mother asked him with high hopes. 

"Ta lème, Mother!" Balthier said his parting words.
