LOGINVenus remembers when she came down from the podium, after Mrs. Mana announced trembling that she was a Bizura, everything in the large room became very quiet. The views of the other students really made the girl shiver. They looked at her with eyes as if she were a grim reaper in the form of a giant scorpion. There is a great deal of fear and anxiety in their gaze, but what makes Venus most afraid is a look of hatred that is not clearly stated by them. The hatred is covered by fear, but you can feel it clearly in the air.
Venus walked with the steps she tried to keep calm. However, the air seemed to force her to stop and hide. The gazes of hundreds of students and dozens of krona in the room sank into her back and entire body. A frightening cold spread to her bones. It seemed years later, before finally Venus arrived at the table where her new friends watched with their body frozen.
“Lira Blezana.”
Mrs. Mana's voice was faint in Venus's flushed ears. Talent selection continues with tensions that never fade. While some students watched Venus silently, Venus caught them and stared back. They looked away so quickly, as if just staring would make them die on the spot. Their attitude towards her really reminded Venus of the fictional character Lord Voldemort. When she turned her head, she found Shad grinning as usual. That fact made her relax a piece of dust.
“You are amazing,” said Shad, his eyebrows bobbing up and down.
Lou grinned with a very happy look, as if she had just gotten a crime partner straight from hell, which might be true. Ris looked worried, though there was no judgment in her eyes. While Virzash was silent, this time Venus could not guess what the boy was thinking. His face is as flat as wood.
“I am fine,” said Venus, calming Ris with a bit cynical. “I didn't ask for this Secret Talent.”
“Don't be so mean, Ven,” Virzash scolded suddenly. “Being Bizura doesn't mean being a devil too. We know that.”
This was the first time Venus saw him as someone. Venus doesn't know that lately her throat is often blocked by imaginary stones.
“I'm not bad, Bro,” Venus said lightly while patting Virzash's shoulder with a friendly ass. “Take it easy.”
“Bizura or not, you're still cool,” Shad said grinning, making Venus grin.
The five of them turned their gaze to the front when Mrs. Mana applauded three times asking for attention. The woman stretched out her hands and congratulated the new students who had learned their Talents, and prayed "may salvation be with all of us" at the end of her brief speech. To Venus, the prayer sounds like "I hope that Venus won't sting us all."
Before returning to her chair, Mrs. Mana called out, “It's time to fill the stomach, kids!” And almost all the students cheered halfheartedly, some of whom still stole glances at Venus. When the podium hissed and then went back under the floor, the usual thickness of Venus had returned.
“They think I'm a bomb or what?!” Venus grumbled to herself.
“Wow, not completely wrong mind, Princess Bizura,” sneered Lou, chuckling.
Venus completely ignored the red-haired girl.
“And where is the food?!”
A second later Venus almost toppled her chair. The round table before her eyes suddenly lit up like a computer screen, and the words "EMPTY THE TABLE" appeared on its surface.
“What does it mean?” Venus murmured with a frown and curious.
“Just watch,” said Shad muttering back.
In the fifth second, the surface of the tech table extinguished, then opened like a spiral. Venus looked and saw nothing but darkness. Ris pulled the girl's back to the back, making her pout. The urge turned into confusion as she heard a whooshing noise from inside an open table. Venus looked again.
“What is that?”
Nobody bothered to answer Venus's words, because right after that several plates of food slowly rose and Venus quickly pulled her head back again. The plates were driven by a round placemat replacing the table surface that had been opened earlier. The dish stopped, and Venus watched as Shad, Lou, and Ris began eating as usual, as if nothing strange had just happened. The voices of ah and oh coming out of the lips of the new students told Venus that this modern table was not common in their homes. Venus looked at Virzash, and the baby boy only shrugged before eating.
The plates of Venus and the others are the same; a large piece of roast beef, five sticks of asparagus (burnt), several pieces of fresh lettuce, sliced tomatoes (which Venus doesn't like), a lump of boiled corn, a bunch of peas, and a lump of stir-fried vegetables (Venus suspiciously looks like kale). On the plate there is a small saucer filled with spicy chili sauce that immediately pleases Venus. Another plate of white bread was placed in the middle, along with five glasses of milk. One more plate contains green-colored coconut milk pudding, along with small forks to stab it. And the most recent is a small basket of fruits.
“No rice, huh?” Venus chirped while biting a piece of asparagus timidly; she never ate that type of vegetable.
Lou looked at Venus and rolled her eyes, while Venus winced at feeling the asparagus which she felt was strange. She promised herself that she would never try to eat it again.
“It's already this much, and you're still looking for rice?”
Venus shrugged. She began to chop up the beef.
“Habit. Sorry.”
After that all that was heard was the clink of knives and forks between the five of them, while the other tables and the tables of the krona buzzed, talking about what sounds like an echo from the grave. At least that's the opinion of Venus.
Venus eats without really knowing it. Her mind is blank. For a moment she tried to think of Bizura, but after stopping at the idea that she would die because of the excess Talent, her mind went blank again. She didn't even bother to comment on the negative gazes that were still directed at her. She only eats and eats, until the food is finished. She drank a quarter of the glass of milk provided, devoured two pieces of pudding, and leaned back while chewing on a bite of grape. She shuddered because it was rather sour.
“So, dear senior,” said Venus satiated, “what is your Talent that so worrisome?”
Shad chuckled. Getting into another world seems to make Venus's style of speech seem a bit strange and seem to underestimate serious problems.
“Funny,” Lou snorted, but still answered. “Prima Air.”
“Prima Fauna,” said Shad, looking very proud.
“Prima Land,” concluded Ris.
“What is Prima?” Venus asked, throwing the remaining bite of grape on her plate.
“Prima means the most important,” Ris answered. “The term for volts that have Talents with attack power is three times greater than Talents in general.”
Venus understands. “So, Volta Juana students with special Talents who were formerly members of the Voltura, they mean all Prima?”
Ris nodded and said, “Not that Prima is a lot. The Talent is as scarce as Double as Virzash, though not as rare as Bizura.”
Their conversation was interrupted by the voice of Mrs. Mana who called out to finish this meeting and told the students to go to sleep. A krona named Mr. Saka was assigned to guide the new students to their new dormitory. Venus and Virzash say goodbye and see you tomorrow at Trio Prima who is now clearly their friend.
Mr. Saka led the way, and the students followed him. Venus and Virzash are at the back of the line. They passed the door where the krona had appeared before, and found two new aisles. Venus noticed that a different senior group from the Prima Trio walked towards the right aisle, while new students pass the hall on the left, one direction with senior students of the Trio Prima rank.
The hallway was all silver, with a (again) black marble floor. The hall's lighting came from the roof, obviously not biriam, but something like ... light? The hallway they passed was quite long. Twice Venus saw that there was another tunnel leading to the other direction, but Mr. Saka continued walking straight. Venus was afraid that later she would get lost in this school.
A few minutes passed, after Trio Prima and their classmates entered a different hallway. Mr. Saka finally stopped at the end of the previous corridor. In front of him stood a large steel door painted black. Above the door was a silver carved word "METEOR DORM". The krona explained that only students who lived in the related dormitories could enter it. Because, related students must scan their eyes before entering. At that time Venus asked, how could Volta Juana be able to scan the eyes of a new and unfamiliar student like her, while they had just come here today? Mr. Saka responded by saying that their data and identities had been registered since they were babies, including fingerprints and eye identities like this.
“Maybe your dad could take care of everything after you were born,” Virzash muttered to the confused Venus.
The thought that her father still had a speck of concern, even just to take care of the needs as trivial as school in other dimensions, really made Venus feel at least hopeful.
It took a while before it was Venus's turn to scan her eyes. The eye scanner was on the wall next to the door, and although the door had been open since the first student scanned his eyes, there was a wall of invisible energy blocking the door opening. Said Mr. Saka, the wall of energy is impermeable to Talent, so there is no possibility of someone cheating by relying on his strength, even a Lightning who is very skilled with electricity.
Two seconds after Venus scanned her eyes, the wall of energy decays inactivity. Right after Venus crossed the door line, the wall of energy reappeared as fast as lightning. Virzash did the same thing, and finally Mr. Saka closed the steel door.
The first thing Venus saw was the recreation room as big as the field, everything seemed silver and some black. In that room are scattered lots of cushioned chairs, sofas, or wooden chairs with matching tables. The floor under the chairs and tables was covered with a carpet that looked smooth and comfortable. At each end of the room stood three large bookshelves that covered the entire wall. On the wall to the right of the door, there is a mega LCD screen that serves as a substitute for bulletin boards or announcements. On the still empty wall are framed photographs showing the previous occupants who have now graduated.
Mr. Saka moved across the room. He stood between two transparent rectangular boxes about three or four meters away from each other.
“The elevator left to the girls' dormitory,” explained Mr. Saka. “And the right one for boys. Please check the Information Screen to find out your room number. And, I want a volunteer. Male. Anyone, come forward.”
A boy advanced with confidence, while Venus and the other students only looked at Mr. Saka with a confused look.
“Please get into the women's elevator, boy,” ordered Mr. Saka.
Although somewhat confused, he followed Mr. Saka and entered the elevator for girl. Just a few steps he arrived in the elevator, suddenly he was thrown out as if someone had kicked him. The boy got up so quickly in a daze, while the other students stared in shock. Mr. Saka sent him back.
“Well, that's what happens if someone breaks the rules by entering the opposite sex hostel. Guys and girls,” Mr. Saka warned.
Before leaving, Mr. Saka informed that all students would get a tablet that they would find in their rooms. Everything needed was in the room and the tablet, she said, including a map of Volta Juana in it, which immediately encouraged students. As soon as Mr. Saka left, the students flocked to find out their room number on the Info Screen, while Venus and Virzash waited patiently and sat on a sofa. Or rather, avoid the presence of strange unwanted stares due to the existence of both.
“You look like you have never heard of the contents of Volta Juana,” guessed Venus at Virzash while hugging a sofa pillow.
“If only hearing, everyone has,” said Virzash, shrugging, his eyes glancing across Venus's legs recklessly on the table. “If you see, well, that's different. Volta Juana never allowed outside media to photograph or cover the contents of this building.”
Venus murmured indistinctly as she stared at the noisy crowd of her dormmates. Some of them accidentally collided with Venus, and their faces turned pale in an instant. Venus almost laughed while looking at the baby boy beside her.
“I have never felt this exciting when I saw someone who was scared just because they saw me,” she said amused. “The funniest fact is that I'm not a ghost.”
“Not,” Virzash agreed. “The thing is, you are almost like a bans.”
“Bans?” The girl looked at Virzash not understand.
“Flying devil's head.”
Venus did not know if it was a joke about Bizura or something like that. Venus decided to consider it a mere joke.
After a few minutes which is enough to make Venus annoyed, because she was very sleepy, finally the recreation room was empty and left only the two of them. Venus stands like a squirming cat, following Virzash who has gone first.
“What number?” Venus asked.
Virzash laughs. “Why? Do you want to enter the men's dormitory?”
Venus snorted, choosing to ignore the child. She saw a fingerprint image on a small tab in the middle of the screen. She pressed her finger there without saying anything, even though she did so by guessing. Fortunately, Virzash doesn't tell useless information like it already has.
Number 28 appears a second later. After that the little tab disappears.
“OK,” muttered Venus as she turned toward the elevator and waved at Virzash. “Bye.”
“Bye.”
Venus entered the elevator with heavy eyes. She saw Virzash heading for the men's elevator. The elevator jingled, and a monotone voice like a male robot sounded out of nowhere.
“What number?”
Male robot.
Venus snorted with amusement when she mentioned her room number to the voice. The elevator moves, whether up or down, Venus doesn't really care. She leaned against the transparent glass wall of the elevator while blinking forcefully. Seconds later the elevator clinked and the door opened. Unsteadily, Venus stepped out and was greeted by another ten meter long corridor. The doorways are only on the left side of the hall, the right side is only … the wall. There are three rooms on this floor, and Venus occupies the first room. After scanning the fingerprints on the door, she pushed herself into the room.
The room was simple and quite spacious. Consisting of a bed, a closet, a bathroom, and a set of study desks. Everything was silver and black, as usual. However, Venus did not bother to complain. She threw herself on the bed, but immediately groaned. Something stuck in her back.
A tablet.
Venus put the device over the nightstand, and then fell back into bed and hugged her.
How stupid. The damn tablet can wait until tomorrow.
It was as if Venus had just dreamed of her dueling with a giant grasshopper, when a very high-pitched alarm yelled at her, until she awoke and sat up suddenly. Because of that, her eyes became somewhat dizzy. Venus groaned and lay down again for a few seconds. She grabbed the tablet on the nightstand. It was still 6:00 in the morning, and there was a message in the device with a loud clink once. The girl opened the message with her arms still hugging. The message contains a timetable for new students in grade one. Venus flickers to read today's schedule.Venus complained. She tried to sleep again, but a minute later the alarm sounded again in her ears."Oh, God!”She sat and stared at the ceiling of her room, hoping to find the technological spy who was watching her. While rubbing her eyes, Venus tried to ask the device about it. She did not expect that thing immediately answered in a voice like a child. As a result, she was shocked to death and threw the

Mrs. Mana scans her tablet with concentration, and then starts to call out the names of the new kids randomly. The first child is called Kirka Sorawa. The girl was small and thin, with a typical freckled face. She walked stumbling and almost tripped on the podium. Though Venus estimates that the height of the podium wasn't until a span. Venus was so tense, that even her scalp felt itchy. Really annoying.“Stand in the center, darling,” said Mrs. Mana pretentiously sweet.Kirka nervously complied. Venus couldn't see clearly what Mrs. Mana was doing, other than that she had only dotted the screen of her tablet. However, suddenly from under the podium came a soft whirring sound, surprising Kirka. Venus's neck was protruding like a giraffe, and she even had to stand because of an un-strategic seat. From the edge of the podium, at least nine kinds of strange objects and a crow looked around fearlessly. The nine objects that seemed to surround Kirka were t
At first no one noticed or even glanced at Venus and the baby boy, but as the other children became aware of their purpose, whispers began to creep in annoyance. The baby boy's face turned pink, but it seemed that it actually made him increase his confidence. He walked with an arrogant look while slipping a hand into his pants pocket, while Venus just rolled her eyes inexorably.Venus walked while looking back at the children who mostly came from the seniors. She passed a small girl who looked at her with a frowned worry. Like Venus will die.Suddenly, the girl grabbed Venus's arm and whispered loudly, “They are dangerous! Better you and your friends find another seat!”Venus made a shocked expression. Too bad, she focused wrong on that girl's zit.“Really? If so, pray for our safety, okay?” The view of Venus switches to the mouth of another stove. “Well, stop gossiping as if we were going to be killed instead of joining thos
Venus thought they would also be delivered into the building after Meres opened the door. However, it turns out there is someone who has been waiting behind the door to greet, or rather, trying to intimidate them. That person is a middle-aged man with a big and muscular body. His gaze was so cold with his lips always frowning. In Venus's eyes, Meres seemed even friendlier than this person.“Is it over?” The man asked Meres in a deep voice.Meres just nodded, then he left with Lan without saying anything. And, boldly, Venus disturbed the scary man in all-white clothes in front of her. Of course with a somewhat scared feeling.“Who are you?” Venus's voice was small, but she didn't care. The man looked at her, instantly emitting frightening cold. This is bad, Venus will be swallowed whole!“Rokuga.”Venus let out a sigh of relief without being obvious.“Come on,” Rokuga said as he walked aw
A few minutes later they arrived in front of the open black gate. The door is too small compared to the wall, but also larger than the gate in general. In front of the door stood a short guy with a face like a baby.“Hey, where is the Portal Keeper who is supposed to drop you off?” Lan asked worriedly. The boy slipped his hand in his pants pocket.“His friend who was guarding the portal was rather difficult, so he told me to wait here and join other guards if anyone passed,” the boy explained with reddish ears.“Basic irresponsible people,” snorted Meres annoyed. “How can he play for safekeeping?”Lan struck Meres's arm slowly.“Sometimes we also do the same thing, right?” she said laughing. “For example, when I have to go to the toilet because it's really urgent?”Lan winked at Meres. It was the turn of the fierce man whose reddened ears.“Where you
