Date for business

I heard a knock at the door."come in" .Eve entered. " Mam,miss Eva called to remember you not to be late".

  Oh!.so it is today,I can't believe I forget my friend's birthday.Luna must be angry already.I checked my wrist watch.It is six already. "Eve get me my dress". I got a closet in my office.I spend most of my time in the office and i can't go to my friend's party with office suit. Eve came with my red long dinner dress.This is one of my best dress,I really like this dress and this is second time I will put it on.I guess it still look nice on me.I checked myself and I think am good to go.

  "Eve, have you bought the gift"I asked. "Yes mam"she nodded.I rushed to me closet to get the fitted bag and shoes. I went down to the park where my chauffeur is waiting.

 "Hi girls".I saw my friends at the VIP room.Eve followed behind me.  "Welcome dear" Eva said as she embraced me.She introduced me to their boyfriends. I can't believe Luna is dating another guy after what she had went through with her ex. Though am not happy that she will start depending on another man and become weak again but I could see the smile that she had lost before  on her face. I think the new guy is giving her joy.

  Kathy also introduced her boyfriend, though there is no need for introduction, I know Sebastian. Eve handed the gift to Luna. "Happy birthday Luna" I said. She opened the gift and was amazed by what she saw. "I can't believe that friend" She shouted. She planted kisses all over my face. I knew she will go crazy over the gift. My friend love jewelries and that is why I ordered a box of jewelry for her. "Thank you dear" she said and almost cry. This is my crying beauty.Little things moves her.

  "My billionaire friend,am getting the same thing for my upcoming birthday" Kathy said and we laughed. Yes am super rich but my friends depends on their parents property.That make them respect me more. "Let cut the cake"I said.

  This is our favorite spot,it is meant for us only, because this bar is owed by Kathy's father. I ordered drinks for all of us and the bills is on me as usual. "Happy birthday dear" I gave Luna a kiss  at the cheek after she cut the cake. Eve also joined us. I love having her around in case of work emergency.

  I saw a man coming towards us from the room entrance. "Hi" he said to me. What!,he is so arrogant.We are five in numbers here.He doesn't greet them. I stared at his face. Wow!,he is super handsome.That,I can't dispute. "Am sorry for coming uninvited.I am Adrian Contrera" he said and offered me his hand which I snubbed. So what if he is Contrera,who cares. Wait,it can't be the famous Adrian right.He handed me his card which I quickly took to ease my curiosity. This can not be,so he is the CEO of Contrera Company. I can't believe he is right in front of me. Have been trying to meet this man for a month now and here he was and I am rude to him. 

    I quickly gave him a smile and offered him a sit. I could see my friends weird gaze. Who care,I don't fall for his handsomeness. My job comes first. The Contreras has the biggest fashion business in the country and I want to patner with them. "I saw you when you entered the bar. Immediately I am attracted to you,so I decided to follow you.Am sorry for intruding everybody" he said. "It my friend's birthday" I said and introduced everybody to him. We chatted for a while after the party before I went home.

   We started dating from then on, after all, I need his partnership and life is give and take. So everything is business,love is not my thing. I was woke up by my phone. I reluctantly checked the message on the screen. "Am outside" Adrian.What the hell is he doing here at my house this early and how did he get my address. I am pissed right now but I stood from my bed and searched for my slippers.

  "What are you doing in my house" I said trying to be calm as much as I can but the anger is obvious in my face. I never allow business to  mingle with my personal life. Only my friends visit. I live in my Villa with my mom. "Am sorry for not informing you ahead" he said. I stared at him,he put on a black trouser and blue shirt,as handsome as usual. " Hi, welcome to my little abode" I said trying to ease the tension between us. That is my way of trying to be humble, because this Villa worth five billionaire and the furniture and work of art worth two billionaire. 

  "Little abode indeed" he said sarcastically as I motioned in to enter. " My apologies again for coming uninvited" he said. " The same thing you said when we met" I said and we both started laughing. "My bad.Just eager for your company" . "What do you mean" I asked. " I wanted to invite you for two days holiday in Paris.Just us,to ease stress but I know you won't accept if I text you. Also I don't want to disturb you during working hours,thus, decided to come earlier" he said and smile. "Please sit down, what do you care for" I motioned him to sit and he does. " Nothing but answer to my question". "Am sorry I have a lot on my table for now" I said and sat next to him pretending to be sad. He moved a little closer to me and held my hands In his."Any request will be granted" he said smiling. Wait,any request. Don't tell me it what am thinking.He knows what I want and he is enticing me. I accepted without thinking twice after all no pain no gain. " See you at seven a.m" he said before he hugged me and left.
