MasukI groaned whilst rolling on the bed. My body aches as if I had worked throughout the night which I hadn't.
Opening my eyes, I stared at the white ceiling illuminated by light from the sun for a few seconds before sitting up on the bed.
Climbing down from the bed, I darted into the bedroom as I felt the strong urge to urinate. I stood up from the toilet seat after doing my business, flushed and walked over to the sink.
A pout formed on my face as I stare at my reflection in the mirror. My skin was paler than yesterday and my eyes seem a bit lighter than the normal.
My hand went to the back of my back and I felt how warm my temperature was. Perhaps, I am having a fever and the reason I had fainted yesterday, I mused.
Sighing, I bathed my face with cool water, then dabbed it with a brown towel I saw in the bath cabinet.
My vision caught a mark at the back of my neck as I was about to leave. I narrowed my eyes whilst surveying it. It was a crescent-shaped mark, etched at the right side of my neck and I couldn't remember how I had gotten it.
Perhaps, it was from a mosquito. However, it didn't look like it since it was bigger than it.
“Or maybe I am thinking too much," I said to myself whilst shaking the thought away.
I needed to bathe, then meet up with Renee who would be waiting for some juicy gossip.
After washing myself in the bath, I trudged to the room and almost scampered back inside the bathroom as I saw Aiden.
“You should have at least warned me," I whined, clutching the towel wrapped around my body tighter.
He didn't answer. Rather, his gaze travelled from my eyes down to my feet making me conscious of how I was scantily clad.
“Could you excuse me?"
Aiden kept mute still.
He slid out his tongue to moisten his lips and he smirk.
My body involuntarily let out a quiver, reacting to him. Also, I remembered the kiss as well as how the hickey came about.
He surged out of the bed suddenly, prancing towards me. I stepped backwards, slamming my back on the wall.
Aiden could be intimidating because of his huge frame but I wasn't scared of him and I didn't know why.
His smooth hand caressed my face then he turned my neck sideways. He stroked the place he had placed a mark and his head bent to kiss it.
I trembled at the contact of his lips on my neck and almost lowered the towel with me to the floor.
Startled, I let out a gasp as he tugs me to him. Instantly, I forgot about the towel I was preventing from falling off as I splayed my hands on his bare chest.
The cloth wrapped around me pooled at his feet as he yanked it. Then he drew me back at arm's length observing me.
His hands moved to my core and he groaned as he felt the wetness in it.
“Mine," He rasped in my ear. “And don't you forget it!"
“Elena!"
Startled, I jerked at the sound of my name.
“What?" I glared at Aiden who had an amused smile on his face.
Though shirtless, he was still where he laid on the bed.
My cheeks reddened at my wayward imagination of him and I scowled as he let out a low chuckle.
“Don't worry. I'll be a gentleman and leave you to dress up. Also, since you have no chance of clothes, you can borrow one of my shirts." He offered.
“Thanks but no thanks. I'll wear my dress then change when I get home."
“You ain't going home." He stated.
“What? You can't make decisions for me like y-you are my husband or father." I yelled, already getting sick of how controlling he was.
Only three days of seeing him, he was already irking me. I wished I had run away to another town on the first day.
“I have the right to do whatever I want with you, seeing as I'm your husband to be."
“You have no right. I didn't agree to even be your wife or anything." I pointed out, rolling my eyes.
“You don't have to since your opinion isn't needed." He clarified, jumping out of bed. His muscles popped as he stretched his long limbs.
“You can't force me to marry you! I don't even like you. About the kiss, it was just a kiss and nothing else!"
Aiden scowled at me before shaking his head. “Just do as I say and put your f*cking ass back in this room. I'm not letting you out of my sight. Not today, not ever." He grunted, walking out of the room.
He strode back in, then smirked at me, “Oh, contrary to what you believe, that kiss already sealed us together." Before I could think of any comeback, he walked back out shutting the door behind him.
“You can't order me to stay here without giving me a valid reason!" I exclaimed, throwing my hands in the air.
I stomped my feet on the carpeted floor, then shrieked whilst tugging at my hair. I was already in his den. How on earth, was I going to escape this goddamn freaking place?
I grimaced whilst shoving his wardrobe open. Rummaging through the content of his clothes, I took out a dress shirt that reached just below my thighs. I rolled up the sleeves to my elbow to make it look less saggy before doing the five buttons on it.
I did my hair in a messy bun and glanced out of the window. The sky was blue, cloudless and stunning as usual. Also, a good day to have a walk because of the coolness in the atmosphere.
My gaze caught the garden that was beside his house. It even looked more gorgeous than yesterday because the climate was favourable.
Sighing, I walked to the living, then to the basement to check up on Gemma. She was awake and wasn't making any fuss like most babies do.
She was charming and I wonder why Aiden would lock her up here since she doesn't even cry.
I picked her up and surprising, she weighed a bit for a baby of nine months. Perhaps, the previous nanny had been feeding her well to have her gained this much weight.
Also, she appeared to have grown a bit, than yesterday which was weird. Perhaps, my eyes were playing tricks on me.
“Come on, let's take a walk outside since your father wishes to imprison me here. However, I won't agree to be detained."
Gemma giggled, whilst playing with a lock of my hair. Her grey orbs locked on mine whilst listening to me talk to her.
“How about I tell you a secret?"
She giggled whilst jiggling her head as if she understands what I was saying.
“You know, I like you than your father," I said, whilst pecking her dimpled cheek.
As soon as I stepped out, a cool breeze whacked my face making me sigh in relief. My body relaxed as the scent of rose, hibiscus and morning glory flowers filled the air. I sat down on one of the benches in the garden, laid down a cloth and set Gemma on it.
Then I proceeded to call Renee. I let out a grimaced as I heard the automated voice.
“Hi Renee, I need to tell you something. Call me as soon as you get this."
Setting my phone beside me, I rested my body on the cool bench and allow the air to whip my hair around my face as I let my thought wanders to Aiden.
This is going to be a long day.

AIDENWalking further into the woods, the sound of howling could still be heard but it wasn't as intense as before. Today was one of those full moons I was out hunting. Not because I wanted, instead because of Elena. If I had stayed longer in the room, I might have ripped the gown off her body and take her till I become satisfied. However, I didn't want her hating me than she already did which could make it difficult to make her mine.I glanced away as Ellen shifted back into her human form.“I noticed some strange things around here a few minutes ago." She mumbled, kicking at a tangled branch as we walked into the wood.“I do too," I said whilst sniffing at the air.I couldn't pinpoint what it was but I knew it meant danger.“Also, a strange scent surrounds
Elena"Aiden..." I moaned out his name as his lips suckled on the soft flesh above my neck. His lips trailed soft kisses down and stopped on my boobs. "You are so beautiful." He mumbled as he observed me with hooded eyes. My nipples hardened under his scrutinizing gaze and my hands itched to shred his clothing so I would feel the skin beneath. However, I settled with calling his name. "Aiden please, " "Please what?" He implored, his eyes going dark. "I-I want you," I said, breathlessly as he stroked my soaked pant. As if it was only the encouragement he needed, he slipped out of his clothes in a swift movement, drew me closer and tug my pant away. He braced my thighs under his hand and he thrust into me briskly.
AIDEN"So, big bro, will you tell me what that was about, earlier today?" Ellen lifted her brows as she stared at me."What?" I questioned back.Though I knew what she was talking about. Still, I wasn't ready to tell her anything. At least not in front of my three other siblings and parents who now gazed at me with peaked interest.Nosy bunch of people!"That girl. She left your office in anger and almost murdered Claire with the look in her eyes." Ellen shook her head, chuckling. Perhaps, pleased with the scene.I chuckled as I imagined her and Claire going one on one. Claire would no doubt shred her into piece yet I wouldn't watch that happen.Anyone that touc
ELENA"I can't still believe Aiden Crook is your betrothed," Renee muttered in between swallowing of the cereal in her mouth. That mistake again."Given to," I said, correcting her slip. She shrugged, lowering the spoon with her in the cereal bowl. "What matters is, at the end of the day you will be married to him."I winced at the blunt reminder. I would get married to him because I was used as a means of payment.Heck, if I began working, I don't know when I would accumulate that amount of money. Still, I believe there was no harm trying. The most aggravating thing was, he had fixed a wedding date, I and very sure my f
ELENAGroaning, I snatched my phone from the nightstand as I came awake.“How long had I slept for?" I questioned myself whilst gazing at the clock on the chipped wall which reads 10: 45 PM.So early to be awake.I wouldn't have much sleep anymore and I hoped that the reason Renee had disturbed my precious nap was for a good reason.I sat up on the small bed which barely contain the space I had stationed it in. It was close to a small wooden wardrobe next to the nightstand and my reading table was at the other corner. I did a semi stretch and swiped up the screen of my phone to answer the call.“Hey." I murmured, rubbing my eyes.
