Chapter Three

That night they finished the dinner with a lot of teasings and laughter. Gulf and Nine kept teasing Tae and Thanit about their embarrassing moment making everyone curious as to what it is though the others caught on what the whole thing was about later and chimed in the teasing session.

"Hey! T-rex!" Pavel called to his brother. 

"Phoomie~ stop calling me T-rex or I'll eat you for dinner instead." Gulf barked back at his elder brother.

"Oh my gosh! How can you you pass sexual remarks regarding your brother you stupid twin?" Nine gasped. 

Gulf smacked his twin's head hearing the remark. "I didn't mean it that way frog face and I cannot help you for having a rotten mind." Gulf retorted. 

"See, that's why he calls you T-rex. You're always on the verge of exploding baby boy." Zee stated ruffling Gulf's hair gently. Zee was the second eldest of the family, after Tae and then followed by New, Gun, Pavel and lastly the twins-Gulf and Nine. 

"Whatever." Gulf huffed while pouting making the whole table roar in laughter. 

Their little brother could turn from a cute puppy to a man eating T-rex within a split second and vice versa. Their younger brother's duality was quite amusing and entertaining to them.

He was the most hot headed person in the family and probably lethal if pissed off greatly, but Tae still had the upper hand and could control him. However never once did a scenario occured where he had been out of everyone's control.

No body dared to piss Tae off or else the consequences would turn way too bad. The only person who could calm him down was his one and only beautiful husband Thanit. He was his calmative and the only one who held the privilege of pissing his husband off without getting in trouble.

{Whipped culture is what it is if you ask me.}

"Gun! Please lend me your clothes for this week." Nine pleaded batting his eyelashes numerous times along with his irresistible pout as though cuteness would always get him through everything and it did eventually.

"I will if you stop acting cute. Jeez! You both little devils always use your cuteness to get whatever you want isn't it." Gun stated fake scolding the two.

"Hell yeah!! And we know you love us more when we do that. Though I look cuter than this bullhead." Nine beamed stating proudly.

*Smack!* Gulf smacked the back of Nine's head with normal force making him jerk forward.

"Stop bring me in the conversation. I'm still skulking." Gulf added huffing while Nine rubbed his freshly abused head glaring at his twin. 

"Okay okay! It's getting late right now, so go back to your rooms and go to sleep. Talk whatever you want to tomorrow." Thanit added shushing the hyper active adults.

They all nodded and headed towards their respective rooms while some wandered elsewhere.

Tae pecked his husband, Thanit's lips softly before heading to his study.

New and Zee groggily dragged themselves to their precious beds while discussing about their work schedules. Workaholics are what they were called by their four younger brothers and they did live up to the nickname. 

Nine and Gulf on the other hand were bickering all the way and instead of going to their rooms, they headed towards the opposite direction leading to their own study room where they had been studying prior to their dinner.

Pavel and Gun simply followed them stealthily because they wanted to tease their baby brothers and have some fun. They were just two young and highly bored adults looking for something fun to do.  

Just when the twins were about to take a turn and enter into the hallway towards their study, they halted and screamed in shock. "AHH! HOLY FREAKING SHIT!" Nine's louch scream echoed in the hallway.

Pavel and Gun who had been busy discussing something, hadn't noticed that their brothers had stopped and there was another presence with them. 

The two elder brothers bumped into their younger brothers and the younger ones let out a scream yet again. 

"What the fuck!!! You want us to die of an heart attack? Li~ please stop haunting hallways in this house. It's scary. People might actually think we have a ghost haunting this house." Nine said turning to scold Mr.Li

"And you, my dear elder brothers, why did you follow us secretly? It's rude." Nine added turning to face his brothers, placing his hand on his hips.

"I'm sorry I was just keeping a check around. I'll be sure to not do that again. I guess" Li Xian added rubbing the nape of his neck awkwardly, since it's been twice that day being called a ghost haunting the hallway. He wondered if that's what he'd be known as. A hallway ghost.

"It's okay Li. Well, I'm off since I have work to do." Gulf said before dashing towards the study, followed by the other three. 

"I remember hanging around here almost all day when I was in University." Pavel added slouching down in one of the many couches in the room.

The study room was quited big and on one side of the room were numerous bookshelves and in the middle there were two couches. One was a brown leather couch with cusions, complementing the bookselves on its right, while one was a blue chaise lounge with black and white patterned cushions on the left side, with a coffee table in the middle. In the front there was a long L-shaped desk with three arm chairs beside the french window-doors. The twins had their study materials scattered all over the desk indicating that they had been studying with full concentration. 

Gun headed towards the bookshelf grabbing a book for himself before sitting down on the chaise lounge comfortably. 

"We actually came here to have fun with you guys, but since you're busy, we'll just hang around here for a while. We won't disturb you and will wait for you to finish your work if you want to hang out with us later. " Gun said smiling. 

"Suit yourself Gun. We're working on our assignment and will be done soon. Then we can join you guys since it's Saturday tomorrow and we can surely take a break. What's say frog face?" Gulf stated and turned to face his twin, waiting for his answer.

"Yes surely. Wait for a while for us and you, BLOODY STOP CALLING ME FROG FACE BEFORE I SHOVE A FROG DOWN YOUR THROAT!" Yelled Nine at his twin before calming himself down and doing his work like nothing happened. 

Pavel browsed through his phone for a while whereas Gun read the book that he grabbed from one of the shelves. 

The twins on the other hand, did their work attentively and diligently finishing it within half an hour. 

Nine stretched himself and so did Gulf, sighing in relief that the torment was over. 

"Finally! We're done. Let's do something." Nine exclaimed happily looking at his ever energetic elder brothers. Gun and Pavel didn't even look a tiny bit sleepy even though they waited for the two, doing nothing.

These four were the night owls of the family, staying awake till late nights and having fun like no other. They were more like best friends than brothers and they always hung out doing something interesting every friday night. sometimes they even had their mini clubbing in their not so mini bar inside the mansion. Tonight was yet another such night and they anticipated what was going to come.

"Umm...what do you want to do?" Pavel inquired motioning them to sit beside him and Gun. 

"Umm....let's have a basketball match." Gulf suggested with excitement. 

"Hell yeah! That's like my T-rex!" Pavel added fist bumping his younger brother and getting excited at the thought.

"Seriously Gulf Kanawut? Seriously Pavel Phoom? At this hour? It's midnight already! Why do you want to drain your energy now?" Gun added shooking his head at his siblings in disbelief. 

They had an outdoor running track with a badminton court as well as an indoor basketball court big enouch for a mini match to be held. The brothers often played indoor basketball and badminton every weekend and it was something they loved to do a lot.

"Umm....why don't we go to the theatre room? It's been a while we watched something together?" Nine suggested looking at his siblings.

All of them pondered for a while and then nodded their head in agreement and were about to head out before Gulf halted them.

"Uh...wait. I don't think we can use the main theatre room since Thanit keeps it locked every night so that we cannot lounge there and destroy his precious recliner seats and litter around." Gulf added emphasising a particular word and rolling his eyes at the absurdity.

"Then, let's use the one I have in my room. I have a couch cum bed as well, so we can sleep there too if you want." Gun suggested shrugging.

They all nodded in agreement and headed towards their fun night with excitement and they didnt forget to take late night snacks along with them from the kitchen and the rest things they needed were already in Gun's mini theatre room.

They decided to binge watch a Thai fantasy series "The gifted", with such serious dedication that they finished it within a few hours and started discussing the plausible theories in the series.

"Wow!! That was awesome! I'm damn hooked. I want the next season to release as fast as possible." Nine said as soon as it ended.

"I agree. After watching this I feel like our Uni too must be keeping some secrets from us." Gulf said which earned him a smack on the head. 

"Ouch! What was that for?" Gulf asked looking at the ciminal.

"Don't hit my head. Everyone keeps hitting my head that's why I'm becoming dumber." Gulf complained to Gun rubbing the back of his head.

"Stop talking nonsense then. Dumbass!" Gun retorted.  

"Uh...by the way, Gun, how's everything with your girlfriend?" Nine asked curiously, turning to face his elder brother. 

"Nothing, just the usual. We fight a lot, all the time actually. Now I don't even know whether I still love her the way I used to. I just feel like she's been using me because of the family I come from and the status I have." Gun sighed looking down at his fingers.

"It's ok elder one. Let her go if you actually aren't happy. Maybe she isn't the one for you." Pavel said patting Gun's back. 

"Yeah! Thanks. Well, what about you guys? Tell me about you people. I wanna know since you know about my love life as I always talk about it. I want you to spill some tea." Gun shot back and comfortably positioned himself, facing his brothers waiting with excitement to hear about them. 

"Well, nothing interesting about me. I have no time for love and I am not interested. I'm satisfied with my one night stands." Pavel stated proudly. 

"So basically you are a fuckboy?" Gulf blurted out of the blue making the other two except Pavel, burst out in laughter. They laughed hard holding their stomach looking at the accused person's face.

"Nice one Kana." Gun complimented while laughing hysterically and looking at Pavel's embarrassed face.

"Uh...I didn't mean that way bro. Sorry if you felt bad." Gulf apologised looking at Pavel's face though he wasn't actually sorry. A real devil he was.

"It's fine T-rex, I don't mind." Pavel said shrugging.

"And if you think why I go around sleeping with others and not fall in love, because I have my reasons and I'm not telling you my reasons. That's all." Pavel stated. 

Gun nodded his head and turned to Gulf who had been staring at them for quite a while. "What about you Kana?" Gun asked.

Gulf guffawed at the question. " Look at me. I always behave like a T-rex in public. Who'll want to approach me. Girls and guys, both think thrice before approaching me." He said and the three nodded in agreement as it made sense.

"Well that isn't true. You are more adorable than scary." Pavel added.

"That's because you are family and I am only this way with you people around and the people I'm close with since childhood." Gulf casually stated. 

"I see." Gun said. "Don't worry much. Your time will come soon and you'll be smitten by that certain someone." Gun added chuckling.

Nine had been quiet for a while ever since the question had being thrown at them. He would've never asked Gun the question if he knew it would come back biting him in the ass. He had been fidgeting with his fingers and chewing on his lips ever since Gun started asking each of them and now he was the only one left.

Nine had been silently praying for not being asked the question directly and wanted to be rescued anyhow. He surely wasn't ready to answer the question and he knew his brothers would catch him if he tried lying.

Gulf noticed his twin's uneasiness and knew what it was about, so he quickly brushed off the topic and suggested his brothers for another movie round.

Nine let out a sigh of relief and was grateful to his twin for his quick reflexes. 

He nudged Gulf's arm and looked at him. "Thank you for what you did there." He whispered in a barely audible voice.

"Mention not Frog face. You owe me a week worth's food from McDonald's. I clearly did it for free food." Gulf said smirking. 

"And there goes all the gratefulness I had for this shithole." Nine thought while rolling his eyes. 

The four of them then watched the movie "Game Night", while laughing and cracking jokes here and there, commenting about the characters and having fun to their fullest. It probably was the best night the four of them ever had together.
