Becoming The Alpha

2020-08-14 23:45:17Nat stand up and walk towards the door with a sad face as he motion Kanisha to follow him. This conversation makes Nat quiet and the aura surrounding him shouts grieving and sadness. Kanisha followed him in the back as she's looking at the rumples on Nat's shirt, she didn't say anything and just followed Nat.
He went downstairs towards the front door leading outside. He opened the door, the sunlight blinding Kanisha's eyes as she tries to covered it with her right hand. Nat walk on the right direction towards the Forest, there are many people outside. They greet them with a smile, Kanisha wave at them but Nat seems too focused on where he a heading.
"Are you okay? If it's sensitive for you, we can talk about this next time." asked Kanisha. "It's time your you to know this love." Nat replied and offer a small smile to her.
The bright forest is soon becomes dark as tall bushy trees cover the sunlight passing through. The ground becomes wet and muddy as both of them walk further, wild animals roamed around and as soon as they spot them they hide in their homes just like a prey hiding from it's predator.
The ground that they walk by becomes steep and the air becomes humid. Kanisha felt it's hard to breathe and her sweat doesn't evaporate efficiently to cool her off and it makes her hotter and stickier. Her snake can't help her anyway. In their journey Nat didn't say a word to Kanisha, he's like in his own world.
As Kanisha isn't focusing more on her environment she accident trip over a root of the tree luckily she grab into the shirt of Nat and pull herself up, that makes Nat go back to his senses and helped her.
"Where are we?" asked Kanisha as she adjusted her dress but a scene caught her sight. In front of her is a cemetery, more than 10 graves are buried in the ground. The trees are surrounding it as it's leaves falls softly painting the graves. Kanisha is shocked at the revelation of Nat. "Condolences Nat." said Kanisha. She hold his hand and caress it as Nat is holding back his tears. "This is the graves of my ancestors and ..... my parents. They where killed my hunters who likes to hunt werewolves many years ago. I was very young that time, my parents did their best to save me, I saw how my dad protected my mom." Said Nat as tears flows in his cheeks. Kanisha grab Nat's face and wipe the tears away as she hug him tight. "I'm here Nat, I won't leave you." As she said those words, Nat's face softened but it was replaced with guilt and he looked away from her.
He grab her hands and walked to the path in front. There is a clearing and only in that spot is blessed with sunlight, in the middle of it is a stack of flat rocks. He paused and look at her. "This is where we put rocks when we pledge to be an Alpha, the future Luna will be the one who will give the future Alpha the flat rock and he will engraved his name on it and put it here as a symbol." said Nat.
Kanisha now understand why Nat needs his mate to follow it's tradition. She turn her head from side to side to looked around for a flat stone and she saw one near the tree. She let go of his hand and run towards the direction of the rock, she picked it up and dusk away some particles and show it to Nat.
She run back to him and give him the flat rock. Nat is hesitant to accept but he did it anyways. He leaned down and kissed her forehead "Thank you love." Kanisha hug him. "Now be the Alpha." said Kanisha. She step in the side so that Nat can put his stone. He nooded at her and grew his claw to engraved his name on the stone. 'Nathan Wood' he smile with tears on her eyes. "I pledged to rule this pack with greatness!" He kneeled down for a second, he stand up, took a deep breath and put his flat rock into the stacks of rocks above the name of his father. 'Ferdinand Wood'
After he put his rock, the whole stack of rocks glows with blinding light and as soon as it's finished, there is a visible tattoo on Nat's right arm. It's a wolf howling in the cliff with a moon in the back. The details is so beautiful it looks like it's real. Nat's aura also changed, it's more dominating and Kanisha could feel that Nat becomes stronger and tougher. He looked at her and slowly walk towards her direction, he looked down at her and caressed her cheeks.
"Thank you." Nat whispered to her and kissed her forehead. "You have a beautiful tattoo." said Kanisha as she touch his arm, feeling his ripped muscles.
"You will have this too when we become one." said Nat. Kanisha is confused to what he means but instantly blush. Nat laugh a little and pat her head. "Only when you're ready."
She nodded and hug him tightly, not letting him go. She's so happy with the thought of someone cares for her and a family she will call her own.
Nat grab her waist and swing her around which she burst in laughter and Nat joined her too. Both of them are happy and hugged each other tightly, not letting each other go.
After their happy moment, they decided to go back to the pack.
"I think we need to celebrate again." said Nat. "I think so too." She giggled and hold his hand and look at his face, she saw that Nat seemed troubled, she thinks it's the pressure of being the Alpha so she shrugged it off and promised to herself that she will support him no matter what.

Hours have passed since the incident, Kanisha's body is so weak but to her surprised her fingers and toes goes back. She realized that her body can regenerate which is actually good but in this situation it's a bad thing. If Datu see's that she can regenerate for sure the cutting won't stop.
