Rat in a Cage

2020-10-17 16:20:34Loud thunder erupted in the sky followed by a striking lighting which gives a temporary light shown on the mountain which has a single wooden house at the top with tents surrounding it. Harsh rain follows as it drops from the sky, making everything wet.
A loud scream can be heard but it's swallowed by the sound of a thunderstorm.
The only source of light in the wooden house shone above the head of a girl in a chair with her hands chained behind her back and her feet apart both chained at each leg of the chair.
She's wearing a white plane t-shirt but now it's decorated with a red liquid creating a beautiful art. The art of a sufferer.
Kanisha woke up by the intense pain on her left thigh. Her eyes immediately opened to look what caused her the pain, a dagger is placed on it as her blood drips down to her leg into the cemented floor.
She looked over to who is her perpetrator, a tall man who she hasn't seen before kneel in front of her, grab her face and move her head from side to side as if checking her. A smirk is plastered on his face.
"You got a pretty face, monster." said the man in front of her. His striking black eyes looked at her with killing intent. He stand up and touched his long brown hair, combing it with his fingers.
Kanisha wants to say a word but something is preventing her, she noticed a bamboo on her mouth, preventing her from speaking. Only her muffled voice can be heard.
The man laughed then slapped her cheeks. Kanisha felt the stinging pain on her right cheek as an uncontrolled tear fell from her eyes.
She tried to free her hands and feet from the chains but it wouldn't budged.
"You cannot escape Lamia." said the man. "By the way, let me introduced myself I am Datu Johnson, leader of the pack of Lycans blessed by the Moon Goddess." he said with his voice full of pride as he circled over Kanisha. He then bend down and whispered on her ears. "and you must be Kanisha Waters."
Kanisha is shocked that he knows her name.
"The Mate of Nathan Woods, Luna of RockMoon pack, the last remaining Lamia in this world." said Datu.
He tapped Kanisha's left shoulder and walk up in front of her towards the table with a large duffel bag on it.
Kanisha looked over and to her surprised that duffel bag is hers. Then she remembered who that person sold her to the Lycans. Her head dropped as she felt devastated. Regretting her decision to run away without thinking of what would happened to her.
"Does this duffel bag seems familiar to you?" he said then he opened the bag and dropped her weapons and tools in the table. The sound of her weapons dropping makes her her frightened to what would gonna happened to her in the hands of Datu.
"You used to kill people with this weapons." he said as he held one of my daggers with jade crossguard.
"What would you feel if this weapons will be used to you, their owner HAHAHA!!!" he said while laughing so evil. Kanisha can't do anything other than looking at him with deadly eyes as if this is enough to kill him.
"We can't kill a fully transformed Lamia but we can kill it in it's human form. You might be thinking why didn't we kill you right now. Let me tell you this, we need to make your snake break. Totally break her that you my dear Kanisha will grow weak and useless." He said as he goes straight to Kanisha with a dagger in his hands gliding it in her cheeks creating a wound but it instantly heal. "I'm gonna break your soul."
Upon hearing it, Kanisha shivered as fear creeps inside her mind. Thinking what would he do to hear so bad that it will break her soul. She tries so say that 'I will kill you' but only mumbles are coming out but her eyes tells everything what she feels.
Datu only laughed at her feeling confident over this situation. He goes over to the table and find a weapon to be used to torture Kanisha. Then he see's a custom cutting pliers beneath a pack of needles. He grab it and examine, it's a lot bigger than the ordinary cutting pliers and has a lot definition to it which means this is not just a common tools used at home or work.
Datu smile and looked over her with a meaning gaze on his black eyes. He then saw a pack of little bottles wrap in a cloth with green liquid inside it then there are several injections beside it. Curiosity is evident on Datu's face as he picked one bottle and shaked it while looking at Kanisha with knowing eyes.
"I don't know what does this liquid do but it's okay if I try this to you, right my dear Luna." Datu said while getting one of the injections and fill it up with the liquid inside the small bottle.
Kanisha looked in horror as Datu flicked the injection while looking at her like she's a rat ready to be experimented.
Datu walked over to her and pull up the sleeves at her right arm. Kanisha struggled to get away from him which pissed him off, he grabbed her neck and pinned it down at the backrest of the metal chair while he forcefully insert the needle of the injection.
Kanisha could feel the cold liquid running through her veins as she trashed herself around. Datu let go of her neck and watched her with amusement.
She pulled herself back and forth, wanting to be free because she knows what that liquid do to a human body. She invented that kind of liquid out of her fear to other creatures when she was still young and vulnerable. That liquid suppress any powers a person have for example a werewolf can no longer use his/her wolf power nor transformed into it. That person will be weakened just like a human.
