My Mate Is A Kid

"Kanisha!!!" My manager shouted as I'm currently working as a waitress in a restaurant. I snap out of my thoughts and took the food in the counter by my hand and bring it to the costumers.
Cora and I are waitresses here and we really love working here besides it's right on a beach.
I love beaches cuz it's so relaxing and peaceful. It really calm my wrecking nerves too. The scent of the sea, the feeling of the sands in my feet, the sound of the waves, that's spot on.
Our shift starts in 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. We serve costumers here and there as this is a popular restaurant. Many people around the world travel to visit their food and also for the location, cuz this is like a paradise. It's already 9:00 pm so our shift ends. I bid goodbye to our Co-workers and go back to our house.
Our house is very near to the beach or you could say it is exactly build in the water where you can jump in and swim away. It is also surrounded by big trees and it looks more like a forest as wild animals also toam there. We don't go out much in the forest as we might encounter some creatures. It's better to be careful. Besides this house is also very private. Like if you hide here no one can find you. I just found this house one day and when we check on it. No one lives here nor someone come to tell us it's there's, so basically it's like an abandoned house.
It's not like I'm trespassing or what but no one even come visit this place and call it there own.
If your thinking that we're homeless, the answer is yes and no. Yes, because we never have a home to stay here so we kinda took an abandoned property. No, because we have a home far away and we never wanted to comeback now.

"hey Sha (short for Kanisha) did you take your medicine?" Cora nudged me.
"Yeah." I'm currently sitting in the balcony that view the entire ocean.
"Good, because you're always forgetful." She said and took a seat beside me.
We both enjoy the silence and only the sound of the waves can be heard.
"This is nice." I said while closing my eyes and feel the breeze in my skin. It stings my skin a little.
"Hmmm." Cora hums.
"I missed home." I said and open my eyes.
"Me too." Cora said with tears on her eyes.
We both look at the moon's reflection in the ocean.
Someday we will comeback.

It's been a week and I decided that I'll stop going to school.
Why?
The reason is that I wanted to enjoy the last remaining time of my life to have fun before I die. We have this sickness that cannot be cured with any type of medicine or practices. I lost hope. Cora on the other hand still goes to school and she still have her hopes up.
The name of the restaurant that we work is Crab's Restaurant. It's Saturday and we're here in Crabs to work for the entire day. Well, I'm the one who will worked the whole day. Cora takes a half day.
As usual this restaurant is full of customers. It's already 1:00 pm and it's my time to have lunch. I know it's pretty late, 12:00 noon is the lunch time but it's also the Hell hour as many customers come on that time. So, it's very inconvenient for me.
Cora go back home to finish her homework and here I am sitting on the table outside Crabs and eating peacefully. I'm having a seaweed risotto and green sushi salad. I want it to be salty too. I have this kind of urge to eat salty food, it have like a unique taste.
So my shift starts at 2:30 pm so I relax for a bit after I finish my food as I check my watch, it's 2:00 pm so I decided to take a short walk along the beach. The sand really feels good in my feet. Who wouldn't love the beach. As I walk, I keep my guard down and enjoy a bit calmness that the ocean gives me suddenly I bump into a hard warm object. I fell down in the sand butt first when I look up it's a man not an object.
He have this auburn hair and a huge muscular tan body. He's also very tall.
I gulp.
Slowly looking up to his eyes, his has this bright blue eyes that's looking intently at me.
I look away.
"I'm sorry." I said and started walking away but he held my hand and hug me. He put his nose at the crook of my neck and inhale my scent. I struggled to get away from him but he held me tighter.
"Mine." he said.
I don't know what he means but I don't like being hug by some stranger so I struggle from his grip and push him away.
"What the--" he said shockingly.
"Wahh you're abusing me huhuhu" I faked cry and act like a cry baby. That is my advantage for looking like a kid.
"No it's not I ---" he said and panic is seen in his eyes.
"You're abusing a 10 yr. Old kid huhuhu" I said and run away but before that I saw how shocked he is when I say I am only 10 year old. Bwuahahah.

Nathan's Pov.
I was dumbstruck. I couldn't even move a muscle. I just look at her running away in a pink dress with apron. I couldn't believe that my mate is actually a 10 yr.old kid.
I feel a tap in my back.
"Hey, Nath is that your mate?" Loyd ask.
"Yeah" I said weakly.
"OMG!!!! Nath you found your mate! What are you waiting for? Go after her!" Red said and keep squealing.
I'll give you a flashback on why are we here at the beach.
Flashback
Red keeps tugging my shirt since this morning and begs me to go to the beach. She didn't stop until I approve her request so pack our things up and get ready to leave. Red research about this place where it look likes a paradise and a famous restaurant is located there. Immediately we hop up and drive towards that location. While I'm driving. I could feel the spark that felt uncomfortable yet exciting at the same time.
I ignore it.
When we were near towards the location. I could smell a familiar scent of rose that I smelled in school, it calms my soul. This smell is different. It's unique. Yet, I ignored it thinking that it might be my imagination like we're here at the beach not some garden.
Even though my heart tells me to ignore it but my wolf wants to dash over to where the scent came from.
We're currently here in the shore. The girls are tanning and us boys are playing Frisbee.
Later on a girl bump into me and fell.
I turn around and look at her lovely green eyes.
"I'm sorry." She said and started walking but I held her hand and hug her.
I smelled her neck. This is where most of the scent comes from. My mind become fuzzy.
She struggle to get away from me but I only held her tighter. I found my mate and I will not let her go!
"Mine"
She struggle from my grip and push me.
"What the--" I don't want my mate to despise me.
"Wahh you're abusing me huhuhu" She sobs. I don't abuse her. I'm just reclaiming what's mine.
"No it's not I ---" panic hits me.
"You're abusing a 10 yr. Old kid huhuhu" I couldn't move from what she said.
What the- my mate is a freaking kid and a human.
