Why Did Y*u Take It?

Kanisha's Pov.

I was surprised that he knows me.

I slightly kick his dead body and get out of the room. I don't care if somebody found his corpse.

I go outside and the loud music filled my ears. I'm ready to hit the dance floor when I saw a familiar auburn haired man. I freeze. 

Nathan. 

He's with his two whores clinging by his side and he really seemed to enjoy it. Oof. 

Did he not feel that one of his pack members died? Wow. 

Well I don't care about him anyway but I wanna play a little game.

I quickly rush towards his direction and act that I stripped so  I could hold into his arms. As I did he stiffned and look at me.

I know that a wolf knows their mate through their scent and the sparks when they touch each other. I should thank Cora for explaining everything about the werewolves.

"Sorry." I muttered softly with my  head back down.

I quickly went out of the club and walk to one of the trees and rest my head and close my eyes as I felt a presence.

"Who are you?" He said softly.

I open one eye and look at him. There are dark circles around his eyes and he look so tired.

"I don't talk to strangers." I quickly walk away but he held my hands.

"I don't understand. You, you're,  you're my second chance mate?" He grip my hands as he said it so low.

Heck, I am your mate that you wanted dead.

"I don't know what you're saying pal." I pull my hands away and he let me. A pang of disappointment hits my heart.

"Never mind, I'm gonna find her anyway." He said likely to himself.

Anger rose to my blood to what he just said.

He will find me and tried to kill me again? 

I hate him, I hate him with all my blood.

I glare at him which he gave me a confused look. I walk away from him and I enter the club again and I found my fellow assassins in the table heavily drinking.

"Cora, I need to talk to you." I instantly grab her before she could say anything. We went to our car and pull her in.

"Woahhh sister, what do you think your doing?" She raised her hand to surrender as she look at me curiously.

"I located him Cora. I know where he is." I happily tugged her.

"The one that stole your ---" She slowly said.

"Yes! Yes! Yes!" I yell as I held her hand. 

"That means your gonna leave me here. Alone." She lowered her head.

"Don't be ridiculous! I will come back if I get what he stole from me, okay?" I lift her chin so she can look at me.

"Okayyy but don't take long cuz I don't want to be alone again." A single tear roll down her cheeks as she remembers her past.

I instantly wiped the tears away and hug her so tight.

"I won't take long, Coraline. Also find happiness when I'm gone Hmm." I patted her head.

She only nodded her head as a response.

"I'll be here if you need help and keep in touch." Cora said. 

"I will. I will Coraline. I love you." I kissed her forehead.

"I love you too." 

We stay in the car for an hour and finally I decided to get ready.

I led Cora back to the club and I saw Nathan kissing a brunette girl.

I. don't. care.

I'll let him enjoy fucking those girls. 

I went into the woods and started running fast until I finally reach our headquarters. I went to my room and pick my untouched duffel bag which contains my weapons and another small bag to put some clothes in it.

I change my clothes into comfortable ones which is a plain black T-shirt, black ripped jeans and boots.

I quickly went to one of the cars here and drive east to where he resides.

After driving for how many hours I decided to stay in one of the motels and it was awful. The service is not good, anyways after a long drive I arrived at his house and it was not I was expecting about. 

His house was a mess and very old as if it was smashed by tornados and tsunamis. Well, I expected him to be a rich dude and have an enormous house. 

I have my weapons ready and cautiously getting out of the car. 

I slowly approach his front door and knock. 

Yes, I knocked. Maybe you're thinking 'what the hell did an assassin learn how to knock and make herself known to the target that could possibly tried to kill her!'

But it doesn't matter because right now all I wanted is to greet him properly as my ex-boyfriend.

There's no answer. I knocked harder again and slowly the door open to reveal an old man.

His eyes widened as he saw me and instantly close the door but I push it open and grab his neck.

So much for a proper greeting. 

I lock the door and face him.

Even though he looked so old and wither I know that this is David but he is only 3 years older than me and the last time I saw him he looked so young and masculine but now he looked like an 80 years old man. 

"Wohhh. What happened to you?" I said and pointed at his body. "and where's my eye?"

This Jackass or should I say David is the one who took my left eye which is replace by 'Zero'. He deceive me and  made me think that he loves to what I am but he only wanted my eye.

Who the heck wants an eye!?

Well, my left eye is my source of  power which I could transform myself and my right eye holds my unlimited powers but without each other I weakened and someday I might die. 

"What happened to me!?? It's because of your damn eye!!!. I shouldn't have taken your eye if I know this would happened to me." He pace back and fort. "It sucks the life out of me."

"Yeah, you shouldn't have taken it." I nodded and sit on the nearest old chair. "So I won't sacrifice and take innocent souls to sustain this sickness. So explain to me why did you take it?"

"I'm-I'm so sorry Kanisha. I just- I'm just a human and I was afraid to die when they threatened to kill me if I didn't follow their order and how I wish I died right then and there, when the price of taking your eye slowly killed me." He sit in front of me and looked down as if he is ashamed to what he's  done. "and breaking your trust."

I just look at him and sigh.

"It doesn't matter. Now tell me where is my eye?" I crossed my legs and look at him.

"I was not allowed to tell--" I cut him off.

"Seriously, just tell me already. I don't have the time in the world to sit here and beg for you to tell where it is." I said annoyingly which cause him to frown.

"Alright. I'm gonna die anytime soon so perhaps I should tell you."

His old voice gets my full attention. "It's in ---" 

A loud bang erupted and it hit directly at David's neck.

I instantly bend down and crawl towards the door. Holding my gun I swung the door open to see a car speeding away. I tried to shoot it's tire but it's no use.

I turn back to David who was shaking as the blood flows at his neck towards it's body and he went limp.

I kneel beside him holding back the tears that tried to escape. 

"I'm so sorry." I whispered as I grab his old body and pressed it against mine.

All the memories started to come back and I can't stop the tears as they flow in my cheeks.

I tried to get his hand when I notice a writing on the floor made by his blood as ink.

I stare at it for awhile before my brain starts to register the events that happened today.

It's like a cold water was poured in my face as I realize what it means.

RM means RockMoon pack and maybe my eye was in there and for the Lycan, all I know is that they are my enemy- the enemy of my kind.

I stood up and went to my car to drive back in RockMoon territory. I don't care if my clothes are soak in blood, all I know is that I needed to get my eye and seek revenge.
