Chapter Two:

I'm at the library reviewing about our previous lesson when Teejay took the book that I'm reading. 

"He-" He cover my mouth before I say anything else. He smirked and put his index finger in his mouth telling me to be quiet. I rolled my eyes as he give it back. I continued reading it but gosh! He's distracting me now so I can't focused.

"You seems very busy huh I didn't have a chance to talk to you." He whispered. I glance at him and he pout his lips. Gosh! He's so dramatic.

I put down the book on the table, raising my both brows at him, "what do you want from me? Why is there nobody can you mess up with?" I chuckled, while whispering too. He scratches his left brows as he sits properly tapping his fingers on the table silently.

He nods his head, "Yeah, and I miss my best friend." He said while pouting his lips again while his checking the books that's on my left side.

"Okay. Okay let's get out of here, I'm hungry." I said as I stood up and stare at him he's now smiling very widely.

"Your treat?" He asked.

"Yeah, my treat let's go?" I said as I yank my head.

I'm not gonna lie that my best friend Teejay was good looking too. He's tall and fit but Manu is taller than him. 

I'm not gonna lie that he is almost perfect like my boyfriend too. He have a perfect nose, thick perfect brows and have a wonderful dark brown eyes while Manu have an emerald green eyes. 

He has a tanned skin. He said he has an Asian blood but well he's kinda cute and a little bit dork and hot I guess.. But I wouldn't want to say that in front of him though. 

He's my super really close friend ever! He's been my guardian angel, my protector, my bestfriend and my non biological brother, he always treated me like his younger sister because he said I acted like a child sometimes. 

But duh! I think he is more childish than me! But seriously his future girlfriend would be so damn lucky to have him. And I'm rooting for that one.

We reached the school cafeteria. I glanced at him and saw a couple at his back, he look at the couple that I was looking to.

"You know what? You must go and court a girl." I said without looking at him. 

His forehead creased, "W-what? Why do you want me to have a girlfriend?" He said, shaking his head in disbelief.

I glared at him, "Because ever since.." 

"Yeah, ever since you didn't go out for a date! And... I didn't saw you hanging out with girls!" I exclaimed as my eyes widened.

"Tell me Teejay are you gay?!" I said in shock face, while covering my mouth using my both hands.

"I.. W-what?!" He raised his both brows while looking at me.

"You know Teejay, it's fine! It's normal. I'm an open minded person but yo-" He pinch my both cheeks to stop me from talking.

"Silly! Cyanelle for heaven's sake! I'm not gay! I'm straight." He said while shaking his head.

I removed his both hands on my face as I start to listened to him. Explaining himself for my wrong accusation. 

"And for the record I'm hanging around with a girls, look. I'm hanging out with you!"

"Except me!" He shake his head.

"Oh, god! I do dating some girls but we just date we never had any label though." He said. The only left in my lips is 'Owh'

"Well, sorry it's nice to hear that you're not gay for heaven sake! You're future girlfriend is really lucky to have you."I exclaimed. He just chuckled and shake his head as we continued to eat.

"How can you tell so? That you know.. That she's lucky?" He asked with curious tone as he placed his both hands to his cheeks, while staring at me, I smiled. We're done eating now.

"Well you're kind, talented, cute, caring, smart, and a perfect boyfriend I could Imagine!"

"Really?" He said while smiling but it faded as he remembered something. His furrowed his brows.

"And hey! Am I only cute to you? Like come on!" He added while his rolling his eyes. 

"Okay, okay! fine! You're handsome but you know for me Manu is the most handsome." I said.

"Manu?" He questioned, oh gosh! I didn't tell him about Manu.

"Who is he?"

"Well ahm. He is someone who is dear to me." I said while biting my lower lip, he looked at me in seconds and look away. 

"Boyfriend?" He questioned.

"Yeah, kinda?" I said and smiled at him.

"Can I met him? Just to make sure he's a good guy. Because you know if he will going to cheat you, I will beat his ass hard." He said and smiled at me.

I feel relieved. As I smiled sweetly at him. I thought he will get mad at me about it. Because like what I said he's treating me like his younger sister and I think he doesn't want me to get hurt that's why he's being protective.

I nod at him, "Sure you can meet him." I said he just smiled back.

We separated our way because he have a basketball practice at 3pm. His one of basketball player in our school so he's one of the school heart throb here. But it doesn't seem like it.

"See you around sweetie." He said and kissed my forehead. 

I proceed to walk on my way home, I stopped when my eyes saw a glimpse of a guy looking at me with sun glasses on. 

My heart is pounding like crazy! When I recognize him as he removed his sunglasses and hang it on his white tee. When our eyes met he didn't smile like he used to, when he saw me. What's with him?

"Hey!" I greet him with a cheerful voice but he didn't speak. 

He didn't  even say a single word. He just wear his poker face.

"So how's your day?" I asked cheerfully. But he remained silent and he just ignored my question.

"Hop in." He said coldly. 

I glance at him while he's driving. It's been a minutes now. But these silent is totally deafening my ears. He's giving me a silent treatment huh.

He took a deep breath before he speak, "Who's that guy?" He asked, with heavy breathes, is he referring to Teejay?

"Who? Teejay?" I asked curiously.

He shrugged his shoulder, "Why would I know?"

I took a deep breath and try to forced a smile.

"He's Teejay. You know you should meet him! He's my one of my close friend her-"He cut me with his sarcastic voice. 

"Closest friend? So it means he is obliged to kissed you?!" He said in sarcasm.

"It's not that. It's just-"

"Call me selfish, Cyanelle, but I don't want to see you with him together ever again." He said trying to be calm as he is. His eyes remained on the road.

"But it's not what you think, it's just a-"

"I'm sorry, Cyan, but you know that I cannot stand with it." He stared at me as he shake his head. 

"B-but.." I sighed deeply shaking my head, "Nevermind." I mumbled.

"I know that you're aware about my past relationship right and how it turned?" Yeah, I know it. 

His girlfriend or let me say his ex for 3 years dumped him for his friend, that's why I think he have trust issues about it.

I'm really in love with Manu and there's no way in hell I cheat behind his back.

I sighed heavily. I don't want to avoid Teejay for this lame reason because he is my friend after all.

"I love you Manu, but.. I can't avoid him because you just said so, he is my friend after all so I hope you understand."

"It's up with you if you doubting me, but I'll assure you that I really love you and you're the only one." I added while looking at the window on my side, looking at the chasing cars out there.

He stopped his car on the side so I look at him. He's staring at me too.

He took a deep a breath, before he say something,  "I'm sorry."

He put his both hand on his face, "I'm just... I don't know!" He said frustratedly. 

"Maybe because I think I'm afraid you're going to leave me... Or maybe I think I'm jeal–I can't understand myself. It's complicated!" He said as he combed his hair using his fingers. His face are red. Like his trying to keep his cool.

My heart tickles when he said that, it makes me happy but sad at the same time. 

I really do love him but... I don't know what he feels about me. This relationship between us is one-sided. 

"I love you," I said in almost a whisper but it's enough for him to heard it. He looked at me and give him my genuine smile.

I hope someday he will love me like I love him.
