6. Forgiveness

Could i be the chick that made them fight.? I mean why else would i be in his house if it wasnt because of it. I need to find val maybe he will give me some answers.

"I am going home. Cover for me" i told sky 

"what.? you are bunking school i thougt that was ilegal.? "

"I know but i just dont feel well".

"Okay i guess." she said and i got up packing my stuff heading out not before grabbing my History homework from my locker..

The first thing i did after reaching home was to place my back pack on the couch in the living room and going over to the valdez's house.

I rang the door bell and mrs valdez opened the door.

" good afternoon aunt is val home?" I asked

"Afternoon scarlet yes come in he is in his room.." she said i nodded and went upstairs straight to vals room.

"Val.." i said entering  the room and the site broke me in half.

 there he was my fluffy bunny was in bed wrapped up with a bandage over his head while his face had little band aids and purple bruises

"Oh my gosh val what happened to you.?" i choked on my sobs While running to him siting by the bedside.

"Ah.." he groaned in pained.

"What happend.?." i asked sobbing a little

"Zane.." he said and my blood boiled. why would zane do this to him,?

"He saw me dancing with you and got angry then this happend.."

"But why was he angry..?" I asked 

"I don't know maybe he has a crush on you.."

"What..?!"

"Oh and jena is mad at you For leaving me and her behind and going with zane."

"What but i don't even remember doing that..?" i said

"Yes i know and sorry for getting you drunk.." he said rubbing the back of his neck 

"its okay val i am just glad you are okay.." i said smiling at him which he returned. 

"Thanks babe.. so did you enjoy the party?" He asked smirking  "...and how was the night at badboy's house..?"

"Oh shut it val.." i said "..the party was terrible and at badboy's house......?"  i couldn't finish the sentence as i remembered everything that happen especially the electric shock this morning why was i having these feelings 

"..OH MY GOSH PINK PANTHER DID YOU SLEEP WITH HIM...?" his eyes widen like saucers and i am guessing mine widened too

"Oh gosh val why would you think that..?"  I said angryly " I  dont just throw myself at g...." I  stopped

what if something did happen between us and i just don't remember?

but zane can't do that to me right? i mean he might be a bad boy and the biggest manwhore but raping me no zane wouldn't 

 I didn't feel any pain when i woke up plus zane couldn't take andvantage of me like that right..?

"If nothing happened then why are you panicking..?" val asked

I breathed in and out just like zane told me this morning and i felt better. 

"You only have a panick attack when you are scared. Did that bastard do something to you tell me and i won't hesitate to kill him.. " Val said angryly and i smiled at his protectiveness though the smile didn't even reach my eyes 

"But I..." I  swallowed " I mean I don't think something happened I didn't feel sore and my clothes i mean i was still wearing my clothes.." i said blushing.

"Oh phew.." he said wiping invisible sweat.

"I thought there was going to be round two of me dying because of you.." he joked and i laughed.

Val looked a lot better than he did when i just came in. His purple bruises were now returning back to his original skin colour 

"I mean have you seen the guy he could easily kill me with those huge muscles of his.."

"Haha val i can't believe you are calling yourself weak.." i laughed

"No.." he said smiling "I was only saying it to make you smile so you won't over think.." he said and i smiled

" thanks val.." i said hugging him

"But seriously though if he had done something then i swear i would have fought him even if it meant me getting killed

I care about you and would do anything for you my little sis.." he said and I felt emotional val was one of the people who cared for me and it felt good to know atleast someone cares 

I sniffed

"Tell me if he tried something yesturday and I won't hesitate to go fight him.." he said patting my back and I broke the hug. 

"Don't worry I am sure he didn't do anything and if he did then I would definitely tell you my 

fluffy bunny.." i said ruffling his messy bed hair and he chuckled 

"love you pink panther.." he said smiling

"I love you too my fluffy bunny.." I said staring at him

"Get some rest okay i will just go and call jenna get well soon." I Bend down and kissed his forhead then left.

This didn't feel right why would zane do this? Taking me home with him.?

Was this his way of breaking up with jenna.?

 why would he break her heart in such a cruel way?

 Who am i kidding off course he would he is zane the bad boy of baja. Breaking hearts is what he does.

 but what would he gain by making jenna hate me? 

was this his plan to break our friendship if so then why would he do that?

I sighed shaking my head then walking over to my house.

I went straight to my bedroom i started unpacking my books looking for my phone.

great i left it at zane's house i sighed now i had no way of communicating with jena.

I heard my mom's car pull into the drive way and quickly ran down stairs to see her

"Hey baby.." she said as soon as i hugged her

"What's wrong..?" she asked but i quickly shock my head mumbling a nothing i just missed you

"Ohh i missed you too." She said pulling from the hug as we went into the house

"How was school.?!" she asked me going into the kitchen to prepare dinner 

"school was nice mom how was work.?"

"Work was good though tiresome we had alot of clients today spent most of my time in  the office didn't even have time to eat lunch.. gosh i am starving." she said and i chuckled

 mom was a lawyer not those famous ones on tv but she was pretty well known and earned just enough to sustain us

I wanted to get a job and help her out but she didn't allow me to.

" oh mother you are always hungry.." i said and she just laughed 

"you know me too well love.." she said and I smiled a comfortable silence stretched across as we both worked on making dinner.

After we were done cooking and eating "Hey mum can I borrow your phone.." i asked her

"Sure sweetie were is yours.." she asked

"I uh.. I left it at a friend's house.." i lied well i did leave it but not at a friend's house I hate zane he can never be my friend

I got the phone from mum and went upstairs to call jenna 

 After three rings she picked up 

"Good evening mrs reyes.." she said

"Jenna its me scar.."

"What do you want you traitor.." she spat angrily i couldn't help but flinch at her tone

"Sorry.." I mumble 

"Sorry is that all you have to say after you took zane away from me.." she said.

"Look i dont remember what happened and how i ended up at his house......"

 '" YOU WERE AT HIS HOUSE..!!?" she shouted. man I am pretty sure my ear drum is broken right now i definitely shouldn't have said that

"Yes but i promise nothing happened you have to believe me I  can never betray you like that jenna i promise. you know i was drunk i have never drunk before and since it was my first time i sorta didn't know what I was doing." 

Yeah bravo scar blame it on the one cup of magarita you had.

"You sure..?" she asked

"Yes i promise i don't have a thing with zane.." i said " please believe me.

"Okay i believe you.."

"Yay thanks jenna.." I squeaked 

"Welcome.." she said " now hung up i wanna write homework.." she said and i could literally hear  the pout 

" oh okay bye see you tomorrow .." i said and hung up.

now time to call my phone

I dailed my number then heard my ringing tone coming from outside my window

went closer opening the window and my mood dropped i almost dropped mom's phone but quickly held it

"What the hell).." i whisper yelled

Zane freaking badboy was standing right outside my window. 

 i glared at him 

I closed the window and went outside mum was already in her room she didn't hear me leave

I went to him glaring

"Hi Princess.." he smirked while i glared
