The loud music, the smell of alcohol, the dimly lit environment, the dancing individuals and the blissful comfort of anonymity. She wondered once again why she hadn't visited one of these places before?She had seen many of her friends visit nightclubs before and what had been initial disdain at such scandalous behaviour was soon replaced by morbid curiosity. Many times she herself had been tempted to go along with them but she always backed out at the last minute. She was staying far too close to her family to risk such rebellious behaviour. Good girls didn't go to nightclubs. And her family didn't know that she wasn't such a good girl after all.But tonight was different.As she sat there sipping her drink and looking at the people on the dance floor, she felt liberated. It wasn't a sudden decision on her part, to come to this particular nightclub.
