Chapter 14- Dark Web Masters

A night before the last night.

After tucking Leo in bed, Rizi went for a shower.

 They were indeed exhausted after their day at the amusement park.

After shower, Rizi observed Leo for a while, took the baby monitor and went to her study.

She clicked open the study door and entered. Switched on the light, she went near the bookshelf. 

She placed her palm on the small panel. Making a beep sound and green tick, a hidden door slides opened.

 She went inside. 

Jason helped her in setting up this place as per her requirement 3 years back.

The area was similar to the size of the study. 

As soon as she entered, the room lit up.

She stepped across and made her way to her computer setup.

She sat on her utter comfortable chair and pressed a button to switch on the computer bringing all screens to life. 

She grinned mischievously.

While she was logging into her system, suddenly  face pops on one of the screens. 

A handsome fella in his mid-twenties wearing a hoodie, with brown eyes covered with study glasses and good-looking face smiled enthusiastically.

"Zi.. you are back."

Zack and Rizi met during graduation. Zack was her junior. 

They both were computer freaks. Zack used to participate in hacking events and sometimes used to drag Rizi with him. After completing graduation,  Rizi applied for MBA to satisfy her father's demands. Rizi was an heiress and she was supposed to take over the D'Souza Corporation, so her father wanted her to complete her Post graduation  in Business administration to build appropriate skills.

Zack completed his graduation and continued to be a hacking professional.

After coming out of prison, Rizi reached out to Zack and he readily agreed to help & support her.

Rizi chuckled at the sight of this enthusiastic creature. "Yes, Zack. how's everything so far?"

"Everything is going well. I have successfully breached all the defenses. Only the last one is pending. Abby tried from her end as well but she was not able to break through this last one. We were waiting for you. I must say they did spend quite a sum on upgrading themselves." reported Zack with a serious expression.

Rizi smirked. "Yes. No worries. I am their Nemesis."

Suddenly another screen lit up. 

A blond short-haired girl with beautiful black almond-shaped eyes, pointy nose, and rosy lips, interrupted their discussion.

"Hey, guys! I cannot wait anymore. Let the game begin."

Abby was Rizi's cellmate in prison. Her sentence ended a couple of months after Rizi came out. She wanted to start a  new life and leave everything. She reached to Rizi and true to her promise, Rizi took her under her wings. 

She arranged for her to move to Springrock city and she started training her as well. Abby was a quick learner and talented. She wanted to complete her study but due to poor family circumstances, she was not able to. 

When Rizi offered her help, she agreed to it because she needed this chance and support. She was deeply grateful to Rizi and she vowed to help her in every possible way.

Rizi grinned and nodded. 

She moved her focus on her computer. She typed few commands and the screen popped up asking username and password.

She entered her username: 

"DarkWebMaster01". 

She typed a series of strings and suddenly the screen turned blue running all sorts of cryptic codes.

Zack and Abby were in awe at her speed and concentration. 

She successfully crossed the first line of defense in 10 minutes, then the second line of defense in another 13 minutes. At the last line of defense, it took her some time. However, in 20 minutes, she broke the last defense. 

A message popped up, "You have successfully breached the last defense. The system is under your control".

Another screen popped..

"Welcome to the Bennetti Group"

"woot, woot..you are genius Zi. Now, what should we do?" Zack whistled and asked.

"Encrypt and lock all these files. This is not everything but this will definitely hurt them.

They should not be able to break our encryption. Make sure of that.  Ask them to pay ransom in bitcoin in the next 48 hours. Make us look like notorious selfish hackers as always. Their tail should be on fire. If they don't agree to pay, warn them we will release information on the dark web after 48 hours and it will be a demise of their company's reputation. How many bitcoins? That I am leaving up to you guys to decide. Have fun with that. They are very much loaded." Rizi winked and instructed both Abby and Zack.

"Don't worry, we will take care of it further. Are you sure they will pay us ransom? Won't they hire someone to track us down? Zain Bennetti must be having some contacts to deal with issues like this." Abby voiced her concern.

Rizi nodded in agreement. "Yes, he has.  That's why we have to make sure all traces are cleaned and wiped out. Nothing should be traced back to us either one of us. Do you understand? No time for mistakes."

"Roger that." 

Both spoke in unison imitating a military command.

"Okay, then I will leave it up to you guys. I have to go cuddle my baby to sleep." Rizi yawned. 

She stood up, took the baby monitor, and went out of the room locking it. 

Out of her study, she went towards the bedroom and cuddled her precious darling to sleep happily.

After Riz left,

Zack and Abby nodded at each other.

Zack entered his system

"DarkWebMaster02".

Abby logged in as well 

"DarkWebMaster03".
