Chapter 26

Rose's Pov: 

I come down the stairs to hear commotion coming from Liam and Ryder I roll my eyes sibling love "Hey what did I miss?" I ask stretching they both look at me "Nothing sweet cheeks" Liam says while Ryder throws him a glare, I look towards the table to see the letter my eyes widened a bit I could vaguely make out Ryder's name on the letter 'It's not in Jace's hand writing' I look at Liam and Liams leans back clearly something is going on here, Ryder grabs the letter and puts it in his pocket, "What's that?" I question playing dumb he looks up "Just a letter from the school I needed to get a new time table printed" he smiles but I know his lying I can practically smell it from a mile away, I nod my head "Okay well I'm going out today just to let you know..." I say as I retreat to the kitchen to make a coffee, I placed my phone on the kitchen counter as I see Liam head out the front door smiling mischievously, I pour a cup as Ryder than comes in "Save me a cup no sugar I'm gonna have a shower I'll be down in ten" he says while smiling with no hint of sarcasm or anything just a genuine smile, I can't help but smile back at him "You sure you trust me with a cup of coffee could spike it with sugar" I replied winking, he laughs while leaning off the bench "I trust you petals" he said as he walks off up the stairs I shake my head a bit smiling my phone starts to vibrate and I walk over to it.

Jace:I miss that smile baby girl x

My entire face drains of its colour and I'm replaced with fear as my hand trembled while opening the text.

Rose: Please leave me alone just let me live in peace 

Jace: But I cant leave you alone you still have to hold up your end of the bargain and you know what that is....

Rose: I won't marry you! Jace I'm happy with how my life is going why, why do you have to ruin it!

Jace: Well you shouldn't have danced with me baby girl because as soon as your hand was placed in mine and my parents approved of you there's no escape your only way out is death honey x

Rose: Just leave me alone choose someone else!!!!! 

Jace: I'll have to see you first....

Rose: I can't trust you....

Jace: I'll give you a time and place ...you already know now fully what I'm capable of .

I know he mean't about the letter he left and the addresses of my friends and family, I take a deep breath in writing back to him

Rose: Fine...but a public place 

Jace: The cafe where we had our first date you know where it is....

Rose: That's an hour away!!!

Jace: Exactly I need to know your not being followed....and I'll know if you've said or texted anyone anything....

I gulp in fear squeezing my eyes shut as I than typed back 

Rose: Okay....deal.

I leave my coffee on the bench quickly jogging up the stairs getting changed as I hear Ryders shower turn off, I quickly go back down the stairs grabbing my leather jacket on the way out as I get on my Harley riding to the cafe I once loved being at.

Ryder's Pov: 

I leave the bathroom with a towel wrapped around my waist to see Rose jogging to her bike I furrowed my eyebrows as I looked out the window as she skidded away on her Harley, She's probably gone to Janelle and Richelle's house I say in thought while heading down the stairs as Reece finally gets up, "Where's my little sis" he asked rubbing his head, "She went off on her Harley probably gone to see the girls" he nodded as he hit his head on the wall, "Do you have a hangover?" I question while laughing a bit he shakes his head "Maybe..." I nod my head "Want some hangover food?" I ask he laughs a bit "Sure...".

Rose's Pov:

I've probably made it in less than an hour and I'm stuck on my bike 'You could just drive away now Rose all you have to do is turn around' I clench my teeth together holding in the fear and manage to get myself off my bike and slowly walk to the cafe door trying not to tremble I take a deep breath in and go to the back booth as I'm seated my leg is shaking on the spot, I hear the cafe door bell ring and the footsteps and than I feel someone sit next to me and I already knew who it was by the scent of his cologne "Hello baby girl....did you miss me?".
