Chapter 8:

Roses Pov;

As Richelle, Janelle and I walk through shops looking for our outfits for the party. I stopped in front of Bardo and looked at this white short lace dress that was to die for until something caught my eye I than look over to the next shop a long white wedding gown stood and I gulped as I started to relive the day I came here.

2 years ago:

"Dad please I don't know if I can do this I barely know him" I beg as I feel like my eyes are welling up in tears as I'm trying on dresses for a wedding I don't want, I'm still 16 this is improper, he looks at me furrowing his eyebrows as if his in inner turmoil he stands up as he walks slowly up to me sighing "I won't force you sweetheart if you don't want to do this I'll put my foot down with your mother I just want you happy my little star and I can't stand to see you miserable but I know this is going to be hard but I need you to try and see for a couple of months with this boy that's all I'm asking and if you don't like it I'll make sure to stop it" he replied I nod sniffling, "I love you dad don't ever leave me" I say while hugging him he squeezes me "I promise".

Back to the present:

I wipe a stray tear as I walk back over to the other shop and look at the short white lacy dress, Richelle and Janelle realised I wasn't walking with them anymore and turned around "Wow that dress is sexy" Janelle said in a murmur eyeing the dress up and down, I laughed a little "I wanna go try it on can you both come In I need your opinion" I begged, holding my hands together as the previous memory went out the door "Sure why not it looks like a shop that has things to party in, so will get our stuff from here" Richelle said as we all nodded in agreement.

"Okay I'm coming out," I said stepping out in the white lace dress "what do you think?" I asked giving a twirl, "My Rosey is all grown up" Richelle said in laughter grabbing both my cheeks and squishing them. I scrunched my nose and pulled out of her hold "No but seriously, is this party-worthy" I twirl again I raised an eyebrow at the two girls, " If I were lesbian I would so...strip you" Janelle said in shock, "shut up Janelle and seriously no don't say that again because I'll get bad images" I shuddered in disgust I turned around and got changed walking out. "Well I'm done with dresses, Janelle it's your turn go in the change room and try those dresses you picked".

{ 30 minutes later }

"Ugh I can't choose Rose, which one," Janelle said holding up two elegant dresses shaking them, " hmm....... maybe.... what do you actually think Richelle?" I asked while analysing both dresses, "I think she should go with the red one she hates black with a passion unlike me I'll take the black one, okay so where all sorted,  “YAY let's go!!" She said in pure sarcasm, "No we actually need to have matching shoes" Janelle said in sass with a hand on her hip, ‘fashion hippy’ I thought, Richelle rolled her eyes "Fine" she replied in a bored tone.

1 hour later

"I can't wait when was the last time we went to a party?"Janelle said in excitement checking herself out in the mirror "I've got a feeling though there's some sort of ulterior motive here like why now he's had ton's of parties", Richelle nodded in thought "Yeah does seem...quite odd" she replied "Come on guys just loosen up for one night and put your worries aside" we both nodded "So who's ready to get wasted!" Janelle screamed Richelle laughed while spraying her hair  "You, little sis, are going to be a lightweight tonight" she turned around letting out a long sigh "Your only 10 minutes older than me so I'm not your little sister okay since we were born on the same day" she replied crossing her arms, " Guys, to be honest, I can see where this is going and I'm not going to sit here and watch you both bicker about age gaps so let's get going before we're late to this party, And by the way I got the spray paint removed thankfully off our motorbikes so I thought for us to take those tonight".

I rolled the garage up "Our babies look as good as new" I said sighing in content. “OMG MY BABY!" Janelle ran to her bike nearly falling over in the process, she knelled beside the bike holding it for dear life. I let out a low humorous laugh "Okay guys enough let's just get going" Richelle said in a bored tone but in secret, she is jumping inside with excitement it's written all over her face, we all took our keys off the hook and sat on our bikes and head off towards the party but the thing is we were in for a hell of shock and more, in fact, me because I didn't know what I was walking into.

Ryder's Pov:

"I'm gonna win the bet," I said in confidence to Parker and Wayne, Parker shook his head and nodded to Wayne, Wayne smirked " You never know bro you might just start falling for her trust me Jake did but when she found out that he wanted to have sex with her straight away in there relationship she said no to Jake so guess what happened" I raised my eyebrows slipping on my shoes, "Well spit it out what happened?" I said while tying my laces, "Well apparently she walked in on him cheating on her with Victoria " he said straitening his jacket "To be honest I feel sorry for the girl that she had to walk in on that you know she was a friend to everyone but after that cold and emotionless even to her own two friends but they stuck by her thankfully for her sake If you met the girl she was before.. trust me you would like her way better she......" Wayne took in a deep breath and continued " She wasn't a cold heartless bitch" he walked out and his figure descended down the stairs as if he didn't want to go into detail "What's up with him why doesn't he want to get into detail" I ask in confusion, "Well believe it or not Ryder, Wayne was Reece's mate" he told me "Who's Reece?" I questioned him, "Well that's Rose's older brother you didn't know?," he said spiking his hair.

GREAT ANOTHER STEP SIBLING!

I nodded for him to continue "Well she thought Wayne basically knew about the cheating side of things" I turned my head "What do you mean?" I asked "Wayne came over that day that she was at the house and said Jake needed to talk to her and that's the day she walked in on him cheating, basically what was going on in her mind was that Wayne knew what Victoria and Jake were doing behind her back she wasn't thinking straight and took it out on people" he replied I nodded my head in understanding.

"Why hold a grudge on Wayne though?" I asked, "To be honest bro I thought she would have got over it and Wayne didn't know about it, Victoria texted off Jake's phone making out to be Jake saying to tell Rose that he needed to talk to her so she hated Wayne and so did Reece after she walked in on Jake cheating " I stood up "Well then why is he agreeing to this bet?" I questioned him once again, "Because she was the one that told a complete lie to his ex-girlfriend saying that she saw him cheating and she believed her but anyway let's get off the depressing subject we have a party to start," he said slapping my back walking out, we walked down the stairs getting everything ready for the party as people started to fill in.
