Chapter 9:

Rose's Pov:

As the girls and I parked our bikes across from the mansion, we fall in step towards the double doors. I breathe in and out starting to feel self-conscious not that I had a problem with my body or anything just people staring because I've never set foot in a party after I broke up with Jake so there's bound to be stares. "Rose are you sure you want to do this?" Richelle questions while having my arm in her grip, I take one deep breath and put my hand on the doorknob "I'm sure I've grown balls since my fucked up ex-boyfriend I'm just gonna walk in there with my head held high and don't care what anyone else thinks" I said in confidence, Janelle smiled at me "That's what we like about you, your strong and beautiful and you don't let anyone else tell you otherwise" Janelle said proudly.

 I smile at the two girls and pull them in a huge hug "What would I do without you guys" I said in affection as we all pulled apart we linked arms and Richelle turned the knob and we walked in, suddenly everyone turns our way 'Rose don't freak out don't freak out' my subconscious starts yelling at me which really isn't helping, Janelle, pulled us to a nearby bar "Can we have 3 straight vodka shots um... Jim" Janelle said while looking at his name tag, "Sure thing" he replied while filling the shot glasses. "Are you excited to see Ryder Rose?" Janelle asked while taking her first shot " Seriously? I'm gonna be living with him basically starting tomorrow I'm not exactly ecstatic to see him or be seen with him" I said while downing my shot, 

"Well that's a shame I thought we were getting along just fine petals" someone whispered in my ear as I felt shivers cascade down my spine and the only person that calls me petals is Ryder. 

I turned around towards the devil himself and look him up and down 'god the bad boy look' I was to busy staring at him to realize he was staring at my lips, I gulped really feeling that I needed his lips on mine but trying not to give in as much as I wanted to, "Richelle and I are gonna go to the toilet" Janelle grinned in my ear as I knew what she was up to, I tried to reach out to her "no, no, no, no don't leave me here" They both snickered and ran through the crowd. I looked back into. Those brown hypnotic eyes, his lips slowly were inching to mine

He pushed me closer to the bar and our lips just grazed each-others until the front door slammed open as I flinched from the sound, revealing the one person I most despised...

Jake

He scanned the whole area looking for something or someone until he found what he was looking for ..... me, He came through the crowd until he stopped and looked at me and Ryder's position, he gave Ryder a glance of disgust and looked at me. I pushed Ryder out of the way and stood independently showing I didn't need anyone as back up. He took a deep breath "Angel your looking better than ever" he said eyeing me up and down knowing his eyes were full with lust.

"Jake do I have to say this again we.are.over get that through your fucking head you had your chance you lost it so don't start sucking the fuck up giving me compliments because we are nothing" I said in spite he smiled at me "Angel it was a mistake she was the one that in-forced it." He said looking me dead in the eye not even blinking.

I huff " Do you know what Ex means Jake hmm I'm guessing you're not getting the message clearly ex means thanks for the EXperience, our time has EXpired, now EXit my life." I went to walk past him but he gripped my arm tightening it I managed to rip out one of my arms from his grip, Ryder stepped forward and said "you heard her back the fuck off" he turned his head towards Ryder as a crowd started to form "And who may you be her bodyguard or boyfriend," he said as he squeezed my arm tighter at the last word.

I've had enough of people talking for me, I stepped on his foot as he loosened my arm from his grip I put both my hands on each shoulder blade and kneed him where the sun doesn't shine, As I uppercut him and pushed him as he tripped over a chair, I saw him flying across the floor where gasps were heard and murmuring through the crowd 'Some party?', the twins squished through the crowd grabbing me by both arms pulling me out while Ryder, Parker, and Wayne trailed behind. 

"Petals are you okay" as he grabbed my hand I winced, he let's go suddenly and examined my hand and says "You have 3 broken knuckles, I'll drive you to the hospital" I snapped my head up "no I'm not leaving my bike it's either I go home on it or we take my bike to the hospital" I reply, "Okay well I'm driving," he says, I place my hand on my bike and said, "no I may have broken knuckles but no one I repeat no one drives my bike so I drive you, get in the back got it?" I say in a stiff voice " Yes mam Parker, Wayne take my car" Ryder replies I look at Wayne and give him the most deathless look I could muster, he looks down in disappointment but I know it doesn't go unnoticed by everyone else Richelle and Janelle were giving him the same look until I lost sight of Wayne as Ryder turns me around to my bike.

Ryder's Pov: 

"You know you have to forgive him someday" I whisper in her ear she turns and looks at me "I don't know what you are talking about," she replied in a cold tone, " I mean Wayne it wasn't his fault.. you know it was Victoria," I say insincerity "I don't know what to think trying to get rid of a grudge isn't easy for me you wouldn't understand," she says while walking away and chucking the helmet at me. 

"No you need it," I say in concern she raises her eyebrow at me, "I think I'm fine thanks, you're on my bike and you're my passenger" she snaps, I reply in a smirk "Aww does petals care about me" she rolls her eyes as I continue to think 

I've got grudges one on my half brother Liam but I intend on not letting Rose find out about him.

I walked to her bike and swung my leg over and she started the bike and we rode off down the street towards the hospital with Richelle, Janelle, Parker and Wayne following closely behind.
