CHAPTER 5: VILLAGE

'Who am I?' Wun Bei asked himself before he slept.

He took asleep first. The medicine is still affecting his body and so he rested.

Morning...

When the sun shines the windows lit up, the curtain blows and the breezy air forced in.

The moisture of the air sipped within.

A youth with purple-black hair woke up.

"It was already morning, I guess."

He took his body up. It was effective. He can move his body now as healthy and strong. The only problem is, he can't balance his body or control that much.

"I guess I can be used to this."

He walks in the wooden house slowly while taking support from the wooden brace itself.

The house was made of logs and woods. Ordinary and simple but elegant. 

"Such air." He muttered as he looked outside the window.

He can see trees everywhere. 

.....

Far from the view of the wooden house. 

Soldiers who wore in red gown patterned with stars was galloping with the horse. There was a cart on it. That pulls by the horse.

"Move!" They uttered when they got on.

They are going to that wooden house! Inside on that cart, a lady with blue eyes and a veil on his face was wondering.

"Wun Bei... I hope you are okay." She muttered. 

.....

"Son! Your up?" The father of Wun Bei called.

"Yes..old man." He called.

"Come out now. We are going to eat something." 

"Hmm."

He nodded.

Within the wooden house, there was a simple short yet wide table was on place.

"Eat." The old man called.

Note: We are going to use the Old man since we didn't know his name.

"Yes." He replied.

On that small table, a wooden bowl of rice and soup was made.

"Thank you for the food." The old man muttered.

"Let's eat!" 

"Thank you, old man."

"It's okay son."

The two of them ate the food.

Note: So you are wondering why? Where are the herbalist and the people? 

Outside the wooden house 

"Come on! Break that hard man!" A man with bare top scorned.

"Umm..I'm sorry father." 

Two-person can be seen so far. A man with beard yet topless and a youth with a small base.

This youth was cutting the wood.

"Do it harder son!" The father yelled.

"Hey!" Someone called.

It was an old man, Wun Bei's father.

"Stop it now Son. I think your brother Wun Bei was already up." His father called.

'Whew~ thanks, uncle.' The youth thought. 

He was thankful to stop this wood cutting. 

"Come here, Wun Bei. Let me introduce to your cousin and uncle." The old man called.

When the father and son came up they saw the Wun Bei in white clothes as healthy.

"Wun Bei!" The youth with a small base run. 

Note: Wun Bei was the same as old with his cousin. Wun Bei, 5'8 ft tall.

"Wun Bei you are okay!" This youth called.

He touches Yun Bei body from head to toe.

"You are really okay!" This youth exclaimed.

"Umm...who are you?" Wun Bei asked.

When this youth heard it. He felt sad. But he smiled.

"I'm Wun Wu Shun!  Brother Wun Bei! I'm your cousin!" This youth called him as Wu Shun.

"Nice to meet you." Wun Bei replied.

*smile 

Wu Shun smiled.

"Wun Bei today was my 16th birthday! We are going to celebrate then! How about we go to the village?" Wu Shun called.

"Village? No, I'm okay. Congrats then." Wun Bei called.

"It's okay son. You need also to adopt. Right, C'hon?" The old man called C'hon, the bare uncle of Wun Bei.

"Yes, you are right Fuming" C'hon replied.

"Umm... okay." Wun Bei can only accept his uncle and father's request.

These 4 people walked. They moved along with the steep mountains and until they reached the borders of the lake below.

Note: Wun Bei house was located on the top of the mountain, surrounded by many trees and at the border of these mountains below was a lake with a small bridge.

These 4 people continued to walk until they passed the lake bridge.

Behind that bridge, a village can be seen. It was small yet full of people with nothing on the mind. Peace, a simple description.

The village had small and big houses made of woods. Of course, there are many things that surround the village. It was crops, rice fields and farms.

"This place is okay." Wun Bei said 

"No brother! This place is our family! This is our freedom! We are happy because we have you. Sigh, you almost sleep for 3 months brother!" Wu Shun said.

It was a fact that Wun Bei was asleep for 3 months. 

"Come! Welcome to the Village of Wun!" The old man Fuming called. He hinted an excites from just saying.

"Mmmm..." Wun Bei nodded.

When they stepped into the village they were greeted by tens of people. To be exact they were numbered in hundreds. 

"Welcome, Wun Bei." 

Kids, youths, and old people greet their saviour Wun Bei.

"Ummm..." Wun Bei can't say too much. He doesn't know what to say since he can't remember at all.

"Thank You." He uttered the word embarrassingly.

"Come..." The oldest one from the crowd called.

"Mmm.." The family of Wun Bei joined.

They walked again. They passed the crowd and saw a familiar-looking culture. A festival.Men and women from the centre dances. Food and fruits we relayed on the neat tables.

"Welcome." 

The people uttered when they walked by.

"Take a seat." The oldest one who lead them offered.

"Thank you."  Wun Bei replied.

Then the rest sat also.

"This is our village Wu Bei. Your village that you want to build. Now that we accomplished this, we are thankful. Of course, our happiness can't be counted....but, we are still so sorry. You're friend Kenarie didn't make it. She was..." The oldest man said but he stopped talking when the chat became serious.

"It's okay grandpa." Wun Bei replied.

Wun Bei did not feel sad about hearing this. His heart is not that hurry to see them. His mind is empty.

Yet...

"Wun Bei! Come out!" 

Someone called angrily.
