Prologue
Am Jenna Jin kings but, everyone calls me... 'Momo'.
Am currently the smartest, weirdest, 'boringnest'( If there is a word like this, non-social. Just say, am a major introvert. I really have no choice. My mom ran off when I was thirteen. Well um moved on, cause I would have done the same if I had a husband like my dad. I hate my step family, especially my step sister.
It's just being me and my dad. He's a drunkard, a really really really big drunkard. My mom still pays all our bills. All my dad works only for is his drinks.
He reminds me almost every night that I should have followed my mom that night so he doesn't have to see my face all the time because and I quote " You fucking look like her twin sister."
You might have thought I'll have like a gazillion jobs or something. Nope totally Jobless. I can't bear to have a life. Nope, I can't afford to have a life with a family like this so, I lay low as long as I can.
Everyone is holding a torchlight, having fun. Couples taking pictures, families having fun with their kids. Everyone was busy. It is new year's eve. It is currently 11: 54 pm.
Tomorrow's my eighteenth birthday and I want to change my life. Am gonna be different next year. No one is ever changing that. Am go I take my self out. Be free.
Happy new years eve to the world and Happy new world eve to me.

"5...4...3...2...1." I smile to my self. "Happy birthday Jenna, happy new year Jenna, Happy new world Jenna."
I sigh and look for my dad in the crowd. Ugh...
He must be at the bar. And that's how a girl Start's her year. Really not fun.

"Hello Sarah"
"Happy new year and birthday daughter"
"Jenna. please call me Jenna. "
"Honey what's gotten —"
"Sarah, now is not the time. Am looking for my dad" I cut her off
"Leave that son of —"
"Bye Sarah." I said and cut the call
My mom is fucking fake. But, am going to need her to pull this new year off.
