Chapter 1

"Hi Blair" I said as I walked into the house, she looked at me and hissed before sashaying to the living room. I shrugged and went to meet my mom in the kitchen.

"Sarah..." I said.

"Blair should be the one calling me that not you. Am mom. Okay. Welcome" She hugged.

"My room?" I asked arrogantly. I didn't come here to make up with her. I know the wag my dad acts but I don't like the fact that she left him. He must have forgotten his keys in the bar. I hope he gets inside the house.

"What made you change your mind baby? It's being years. I miss you. Did you miss me?" She asked

"Happy new year mom" I said Instead of answering.

"Ronnie, come lead Jenna to her room" My mom shouted and a six year old came running down. He and my mom where the only ones really related to me in this house. 

"Jenna" Ronnie hugged me as he arrived at the kitchen before smiling up at my face. I patted his head and peeled him off my body.

"Hi" I said

"He never hugs Blair" Mom said

"He doesn't need to" Blair said in disgust took a plate of sandwich and walked to upstairs.

"Come with me Jenna, your room is right beside mine." He said pulling my hands and my mom laughed at the scene. I looked at her a picked my bags.

**Foolish woman, am using you**

"Wait up Ronald. Stop running" I yelled.

"Am so excited you are here." He said jumping on the stairs.

DINNER 

"Jenna. It's nice to have you here" George Watson said, he's my step father. I hope my dad's home. I wonder if he has eaten.

"Thank you again Mr. Watson" I said with a forced smile

"No need for those, any child of Sarah is my child and you and Blair have more time to bond now" He said and chucked looking at Sarah.

"You are right George. They go to the same school so the could be reading and playing buddies" Sarah said and the first thing that came to my mind was spilling my drink on her face to wake her up.

Does she like live in another planet or she's just a really bad actress.

"Of course father. I will help her in school. The teacher complained about her performance in her English test last semester . Am I not right Jenna." Blair asked smirking at me.

Complain my foot. She did complain is because I didn't do as she expected. I got an A minus you got a C plus. Who the hell is to help who.

"Jenna... Is she saying the truth?" Sarah asked.

"Who cares. The past is past." I smile at Blair. I was actually warning her. She laughed and to a sip of her drink.

"Okay... Well I hope this year would be better than the last" George said.

"It will be. It has to be." I whispered to my self.
