Ch. 2 - First Day

“Ehm… after you guys introduced yourself. Can you guys explain who I am and why are we making this journey? ”

"Let me explain." Rei volunteered to provide an explanation.

"Alright Rei, please explain everything."

Rei took a sip of the hot tea on the table and began to explain.

“Miss Miao, Miss Ae-Cha, and Princess Yoko are your fiancés. You want to marry all three, but all three of them not agreed. They want you to choose one of them. However, because you are confused about who to choose, you finally decide to invite them to join you on an adventure. During this trip, you will judge for yourself who is the most suitable candidate for you. That is the reason this trip was made." Rei explained at length.

Arai wonders why girls as beautiful as them would want to be with him. Arai still not checked his own face in the mirror yet, but he is sure that his face must be handsome. However, just handsome, will not be able to conquer girls with high backgrounds like them. There must be another factor that made the three girls chase after Arai.

"Am I a noble family?"

"No." Rei shook his head.

"Am I the strongest knight in my country?"

"No." Rei shook his head again.

"Then, why the three of them want to be my wife?"

“It is because you have won their hearts. I don't know what you did, but they say you did something to make them fall for you."

Miao, Ae-Cha, and Yoko suddenly blushed after Arai looked at the three of them. The three of them looked shy. Their reactions are exactly like a girl who is meeting her first love.

"Can you all tell me why you fell in love with me?" asked Arai.

"H-how I can?!"

"Forget it, stupid Arai!"

"S-sorry Ar Ar. This is too embarrassing for me to tell."

The three girls refused to tell Arai about the incident that made them fall in love with him. The three of them were too embarrassed.

"In that case. Can you explain why I took you on adventures? What is the purpose of this trip?" The three of them were still silent. Their expressions that were initially cheerful were a little gloomy.

Rei, who still maintains his emotions, goes back to telling stories.

“You want to go to Monster Island in search of magic fruit. You will use this miraculous fruit to heal your mother who has a strange and incurable disease."

Arai is a little surprised.

"What is this strange disease?"

"Mrs. Catherine could not see, speak nor hear. She couldn't move from the bed, but luckily she still can breathing." Rei continued his explanation.

"What made her like that?"

"I don't know, but you say Mrs. Catherine became like that after you returned from the royal palace."

Arai rested on his chin. He began to think about the reason why his mother was like that.

"But, she's still alive, right?"

“Yes. Your little sister took very good care of Mrs. Catherine at home. She regularly gives her pills filled with nutrients to keep your mother in good condition. You don't have to worry. The doctor said your mother was not in a dangerous condition."

Arai nodded his head.

"Alright then. Thank you Rei for the explanation."

Miao got up from the sofa and started to raise her sharp spear.

"Tonight, let's rest. Tomorrow morning we will discuss the expedition again together. Everyone let's split up."

With a single beat of Miao's spear, everyone immediately dispersed.

"I'm share a room with Ar Ar, right?" Ae-Cha grabbed Arai's arm.

"No! You share a room with me! You're the most dangerous!" Miao grabbed Ae-Cha's arm.

"Yoko, you sleep with Rei. Arai will sleep alone. We'll meet again here in an hour for dinner."

Yoko just looked up at Miao's behavior. "Why she act like a leader?"

Arai immediately went into the room after getting the key. The room looks so simple. There are only beds, pillows, blankets, and a small wardrobe. The walls were still not painted but the lighting in this room not quite dark.

When saw the mirror, Arai immediately see his face. "No wonder they loved me. My face is really handsome." Arai made various expressions.

At dinner time, everyone goes back downstairs. The innkeeper had prepared dinner for them. This inn is so quiet. There are no more visitors except them. 

“Aah, the inn is so ugly! I can not sleep!" Yoko kept complaining about the badness of this inn. She said the room was very cold and lots of insects. She forced to change rooms with Miao. It was only natural for Yoko to act like that, because she was a princess who was used to sleeping in luxurious rooms.

“Aren't you a royal princess? Why don't you just ask your dad for money? That way, we can rent a nicer inn, right?” asked Ae-Cha while looking at her.

“It can't be helped, father didn't allow me to go outside the palace. So I had to run away quietly without any money. Huhu, how sad ..."

"But, you are grateful that you can meet Arai, right?" said Miao after finishing the dinner.

"Y-yes, of course. But after this trip is over you will have to marry me, stupid Arai!” Yoko pointed at Arai's face.

“Sorry Yoko, but Arai will be mine. You better just give up."

"No! Ar Ar promised to marry me!"

The three girls made a fuss again. Rei can only smile seeing it.

After dinner, everyone returned to the room. Rei shares a room with Miao, while Ae-Cha shares a room with Yoko.

In his room, Arai's heart was beating so fast. “T-this isn't a dream, right? I… I… have three future wives?"

Arai sank his head under the pillow. He couldn't help but feel the joy welling up in his heart.

What was on his mind right now was just choosing one of them to be his wife.

“I can't go on like this. I have to complete missions before choosing one of them."

Unable to sleep, Arai decided to leave the inn. He intends to find the night breeze as well as look around the city. The atmosphere is so quiet outside the inn. People seem to have slept in their homes. Arai looks around and is amazed to see it.

While admiring this sight, someone suddenly tapped him on the shoulder from behind.

"Good night, young man."

Arai turned his head.

In front of him was an adult woman who wore a sexy clothes.

He winked at Arai. “There’s no one in my home. Do you want to come?"

Arai knows. This woman must be a prostitute. From the signs it can be seen.

Compared to his three future wives, this woman has a nicer body. However, in terms of face,

this woman was far behind.

"S-sorry, I don't have the money to do that."

The woman then chuckled.

He embraced Arai's body and whispered something in his ear. "I'm the one who will pay you,

handsome boy."

Instantly, Arai's body heats up. His lust peaked. Women of the night really know how to conquer men. Without realizing it, Arai accepted the woman's invitation and walked with her.

“Hey Devil! Stop you!"

A girl shouted from behind.

"Rei?" Arai and the woman turned their heads.

“Mr. Arai, stay away from that woman! She's a seducing demon! She's a Succubus!”

Arai is confused. “Succubus? What is a Succubus?"

“Succubus is female demon who absorbing the essence of male human life. If you follow her invitation, you will be killed!”

Arai immediately looked at the woman next to him, the woman looked angry and started showing fangs and small wings from her back. Arai immediately released the woman's embrace from her body to run.

“You bastard! I will kill you!" The woman growled at Rei.

Currently, Rei is only wearing normal clothes without any weapons. However, he seemed ready to beat up that demonic woman.

“Rei. Are you sure you can beat that demon barehanded?” asked Arai.

"Just leave it to me, sir. My weapon is barehanded."

Arai immediately stepped away to let the two of them fight.

Rei took a deep breath while putting on a stance. After the breath was released, Rei moved quickly and kicked the demonic woman's head with all his might. The demonic woman's head snapped off with one kick.

"You ... you ... I'll take revenge to you one day!" Simultaneously, that demonic woman's body and head immediately vanished from sight.

Rei, who managed to defeat the Succubus, was immediately approached by Arai.

“Rei, you are great! How did you do that?"

Rei only smiled a little. “Since birth, my body has been strong. I can do that easily."

Arai is mesmerized by it. Rei who is the smallest, turns out to have this much power. Arai is a little afraid of her even though this girl is actually his personal servant.

"You're so great. I'm proud of you, Rei." Arai stroked his head.

Rei accepted the caress and smiled.

Not long after, Yoko Ae-Cha and Miao came out of the inn and approached the two of them.

"What's all this fuss? Why are you guys here?" asked Miao

"Earlier a Succubus attacked Mr. Arai, I helped him because Mr. Arai didn't know that woman was a devil." Rei explained.

The three girls looked directly at Arai at the same time. They look irritated.

"So, you were successfully seduced by Succubus?"

“What does her body look like? She must be hot, huh? "

“Arai stupid. You pervert!”

Arai who was staring at such annoyance couldn't fight back.

“I-I'm sorry. I didn't know that woman was a devil. Really, I was just planning to take her out!"

"Huh, what did you say?!"

"Sorry, I said wrong. I must have been hit by its stimulating power to accept that invitation!

Don't blame me!"

"Ah, you're so ungrateful!"

The three girls then beat Arai together until he couldn't move anymore.
