LOGINOne part of Xyla believed her whole existence was only a joke to this world. Her mother died giving birth to her and her father ran away after knowing when she was only a week old from her mother’s womb and, poor baby Xyla wasn’t planned for abortion. Another part of Xyla believed that all of the cruelty she has in life were challenges she knew God had given for her to strengthen herself. Just recently, her aunt Nana, the one who took care of her, passed away for how old and weak she was becoming. Now, Xyla was left alone. She worked as a waitress in a newly-opened café in their little town. She met Officer James during her day shift–stunning yet arrogant. One day, when Xyla woke up at dawn, she received a letter she didn’t know from whom it came from. She decided to give a call to the police but they turned her down; thinking it was only a prank. Luckily, Officer James offered help by staying with her in her house. As days passed by, Xyla kept receiving threatening letters, not giving her a single clue of who the sender was. Not until her coworker from the café died and her life made a big, abrupt turn. She developed feelings for the Officer, her depression and loneliness have started to weigh heavily on her shoulders and, her anxiety started to build itself up inside her. She was losing hope.
