Ch. 31

" Mia, Summer. I'll tell you in a moment who I've decided on. But first I would like to say that you are both wonderful women. You made me laugh and think and sometimes my brain cells swam away. I've never had so much fun in a month.

That goes now to everyone who I sent home. Each has a strong character and knew how to use its advantages. There is Kirsten, she knows exactly what she wants to achieve in life and her perfect husband has a list to do accordingly. Unfortunately I didn't think I could do everything

Then I sent Bella home. She has two particularly beautiful arguments that she knew how to deal with. That evening she didn't care about the environment, the main thing was that Bella could always talk to me.

After the first week, Hannah had to leave us. She liked to laugh. Always in a happy mood and really relaxed and revealing, she is too much with her declarations of love after a few glasses.

Trixi is a very clever and curious woman. Always looking for the meaning or the secret. Sometimes you were the target yourself without knowing it.

With that we come to you, Sophia. We were on the same wavelength from the start, but more on a friendly basis. I am so glad that you and Finn found each other and I wish you all the luck in the world that it lasts forever.

Aria also left this week. She left voluntarily to secure her place for Mia. Very altruistic of her. Aria was a bit shy and has developed more and more here in her time. It's just a shame that I didn't have the opportunity to get to know her properly.

Emilia is a very confident woman. She has an incredible body and an almost infinite power of persuasion. It never got boring with her.

Yes and Lola, I think Lola will never regret or forget these three weeks. Here with the other women she found herself again. But her old self and I do not fit together as a couple, but make excellent friends.

Now only you are left. Summer and Mia.

Summer you are like your name suggests like summer. You shine most of the time and warm the hearts of those around you. You are incredibly versatile and have a job of enormous importance. You were always the cheer and friend in the group. I am convinced that most of you will call you and you will stay in touch. When we're together, I learn something new about you every time. For example, I had no idea that your favorite color was blue until I saw your apartment. It will be a long time before we know every detail when it comes to the other. That is exactly what makes it so attractive to be with a woman as great as that.

Mia! I do not know where to start. The first time we met it sparked and we never got tired of bringing anecdotes from our lives to the fore. You have the biggest heart of all I've met so far. Every day you help people in emergencies and bring them back on the right track. I am surprised that there is still so much space in it. For the women you always had an open ear for and for me. Especially for me. I don't know how to say, but your feelings that you confessed to me make me kind of proud. Proud that a woman like you can love a man like me. Mia, it's like we've known each other all our lives. I know more about you as I do about some of my friends. Our connection is strong and gets stronger with each meeting. That is exactly what makes it so attractive to be with a woman like you. "

Jack swallows a few times. It's even harder to say than he imagined. His monologue has become longer than he had planned, but the words just gushed out of him.

Mia goes almost black in front of her eyes. She is happy with how he described her and their relationship. But that's exactly how he talked about Summer. Nothing at all has been decided yet and that drives you to the edge of madness.

Summers hands are shaking. Now it is there. The nervousness and fear. She really likes Jack, but does she stand a chance against love for Mia?

Sophia is tense. Jack shouldn't make it so exciting. He should just pull it through, as fast as peeling off a plaster. In addition, Sophia is afraid for Mia. All the color has drained from her face.

Finn hopes for his friend that he will choose the right woman and that he will not be blinded by anything. And no matter who he takes, he will be happy for Jack as long as he is happy and satisfied with it.

Max struggles to keep the camera still. You can feel it crackling in the air. He prays that Mia will be the one. She deserves it and Jack is so infatuated with her that he can't imagine anything else.

" I choose the woman I don't already know by heart: SUMMER!"

Summer jumps up screeching and super mega-happy. Mia gets sick, her eyes close and the noises seem to continue in slow motion.

Sophia drops her jaw, stunned.

Finn is more than surprised, but cannot object to his friend's decision.

And Max just shakes his head. How could he? How could he do that to Mia? If he were a little more sentimental, the tear in his eye would run down his cheek.

The room is as quiet as a mouse except for the new couple. Mia's ringing cell phone immediately catches the eye. This makes no move to take the call, which is why Sophia does it for her. The touchscreen shows Kim. Sophia picks up and puts on loudspeaker.

" Hello, honey! I guess Jack announced that you're the only one? A guy like that is the most perfect birthday present you could ever ask for, right? Happy Birthday, honey! Also all the best from Lukas! "

Summer and Jack stand frozen in pillars of salt. Mia's birthday? Especially today? Crap! Damn it! But knowing nothing would have changed his decision. "Mia? Come on, I know that kissing Jack is better than kissing his girlfriend ... "" Kim? This is Sophia speaking! “, She takes the cell phone in hand and takes three steps to the side.

Mia doesn't notice any of this. Your brain is shut down. Her heart broken in a thousand splinters. The tears don't want to come yet, but the empty and rigid stare scares Max, Finn and Sophia a lot more.

Sophia explains what happened to Kim, before she has finished speaking her voice booms through the entire room:

" WHAT? WHAT DID THE ASSHOLE DO? "
