LOGINAbel was wearing the briefs she had given him and nothing else but those briefs. Abby could see he still had the six pack from their last comeback. And that six pack was getting closer to her, she kept staring at it but moving back as she saw it got closer. Her back hit something and she could no longer move any further, it was the wall. She was in the same position she had been earlier that day. Abel's face was only mere inches from hers and he was biting his lips. He gave her a seductive look and she could feel her panties getting wet. He then leaned and whispered to her with his deep sexy voice.
"If they're wet, why not take them off? I'll take mine off as well if you want."
She started feeling hot at that moment, too hot.
"If you're hot then take off all your other clothes as well."
She hadn't even taken off her underwear so she didn't know what he meant by "too". But then she looked down and saw that she had no underwear on. Yet she clearly remembered that she had been wearing pants.
Abby woke up with a scream. Stupid Abel! It was his fault she had that dream! She wouldn't have minded if in the dream it would have been Cain's body instead of hers because that would have made it yaoi but nope it had been her in her own body.
It was all because that previous night when she had gotten back from her apartment Abel had been laying down on his bed wearing only the briefs she had given him. He was pretending to be asleep because she could tell that he really wasn't. He had never slept only with briefs and never without any kind of blanket covering him. He was doing it on purpose since he now knew she was a girl.
Abby had wanted to get back at him for it and since Abel was laying on his stomach, the perfect position to do what she wanted to do, she decided to go for it. She might not be able to touch anyone or have others touch her but she thought that touching someone with her feet wouldn't kill her. She had been wrong in a way but she hadn't realized that till after when it was too late.
She had put her leg up and poked Abel's butt with her feet.
"How disappointing. His rear end is as flat as a pancake."
She had tried to sound disappointed and even sighed at the end for effect. Abel gasped at this.
"Hey! I can't have it all, can I?!"
He had turned around suddenly but Abby still had her feet on him and that's when she lost her balance. She would have fallen on the floor had it not been for Abel's fast reflexes. He had grabbed her by the waist just in time and pulled her up. But he had not realized that the blanket that had been under him had wrapped around him when he had turned around in bed. The blanket was somewhat big and part of it had fallen to the floor. Abby hadn't ended up falling like she though she would but she did end up slipping on the blanket and that slip caused her to fall flat on Abel.
They were in a similar position to the one they had been in the first night when Abby had tried turning Abel around to get him to stop snoring but this time it was worse. Abel wasn't wearing a pajama like he had been that night, he had only briefs on. And Abby had just gotten out of the shower so she only had a robe and briefs on. But the robe had become undone during the fall and that in turn had caused skin to skin contact between the two. Had it not been for Cain being taller than Abel, they would have probably even touched lips but instead Abel's lips were at her neck. If anyone had walked in at that exact moment they would have thought the two were lovers, gay lovers.
Abby had to take a second shower that night before going to sleep but once she had gotten back to the bathroom, the door had been locked. Someone else was taking a shower and that meant she had to wait.
"Whoever is out there can come join me if they want. The hot water will be turned off soon so I think it'll be better to share a shower while the water is still hot than to have to take a cold shower later."
It was Lucas's voice. He must have heard when she had tried to open the door.
"Just hurry up then."
There was no way she was going to take a shower with someone else, not even if she was desperate to take one and not even if it was with hot Lucas.
"I just got in though."
"Well guys aren't supposed to take that long anyways so just wash and rinse fast."
Abby practically had to plead to him but it worked since Lucas had soon come out of the shower and she was able to take her shower with hot water just the way she liked it. It was a surprise that she didn't dream about Lucas as well since he was the last person she saw before going to sleep.
It had been a good thing that Abel wasn't in the room when Abby woke up screaming from her dream. It would have been embarrassing for her to tell him that she had dreamt about him. She did find him not being there odd though. They usually both woke up around the same time. She wondered if anyone had even heard her scream. The clock on the nightstand said it was 7am and they usually woke up around that time. But considering how none of them had barged into the room, it must have meant that they were still sound asleep.
She didn't know what they were going to do that day. All she knew was that the group had an activity to film. Since they were having a comeback soon, they were going to have to start recording shows and that only made Abby's anxiety worse. Recording stuff wasn't as big of a deal for her as performing live on stage or doing hi touch events but she was still nervous that she would end up messing up just like she had at Music Core the first time. It was a good thing that the group had filmed their new music video the week before she and Cain had switched bodies. She didn't think she would have been able to do a music video.
Abby was zipping up her hoodie when someone walked in. She was startled and almost ended up screaming a second time that morning until she saw who it was, it was Abel. He had walked in with a big bouquet of flowers so she hadn't been able to see who it was until he peered out from the bouquet. He was smiling that precious smile of his, the nickname Abel sunshine really suited him well. He really was like sunshine because that smile could light up any room. And seeing him with a bouquet of flowers only radiated more of that sunshine feeling.
"Flowers for you m'lady."
He pushed the flowers so suddenly at Abby that she almost ended up dropping them, thankfully she didn't. It would have been a shame had they fallen, they were beautiful. The bouquet was a mix of lavender colored roses, purple carnations, purple stock and lavender alstroemeria. Abby only knew this because her mom used to own a flower shop before starting their restaurant business. She could tell that it must have cost Abel a lot.
"They are beautiful but why are you giving them to me?"
It wasn't like it was her birthday or anything like that. Besides, she was still in Cain's body and she found it weird for a guy to give another guy flowers (unless they were dating of course). But she and Abel weren't dating and neither were he and Cain. It made her wonder if he had woken up early just to get her the bouquet of flowers. If she were him, she would have been afraid of being seen by other members.
"My grandma said the best way to win over a woman's heart is with flowers and a smile. So here are your flowers and here is that smile."
Abby's heart started beating faster. His smile was even wider than before. It was such a radiant smile that she would have even believed he was an angel that had fallen from heaven. A messy angel considering how messy he was but still perfect in every other way (except for his snoring that was AND his flat as a pancake ass). But no one could be 100% perfect although Abel was very close to it. Abby had always thought of him as her ideal type (she had lied to Cain when she said she didn't have a type). And meeting Abel in person had only confirmed that he was indeed her ideal type.
"Hey. Do you guys have a red hat I can borrow? I'm having a bad hair day but I want the hat to match my outfit."
It was Simon and he had just interrupted their little moment without even realizing. Members barging into other members rooms as if it were their own room was something normal. They really had been lucky that no one had walked in on them the night before.
"Woah. Pretty flowers dude. Did you get them for your girlfriend?"
Simon was referring to the flowers that Abel had just given Abby.
"Uhh...yea."
Abby smiled awkwardly.
"Don't lie. Your girlfriend was the one that got them for you."
She couldn't believe that Abel had just winked at her after ruining her perfect lie like that. Perhaps he really wasn't an angel but a mischievous devil.
"Wow. Don't you think you should be the one doing that for her?"
Simon was already rummaging through their closet. Most likely looking for the red hat he had wanted.
"Nah. Abel was just lying. I found them in the trash. I should probably take them back though. They're stinky."
She stuck her tongue out at Abel.
"I'm just kidding. I wouldn't throw them away. They're too pretty to do that. But I would really advise the person that bought them to never do that again because they are only throwing their money away."
Abby was staring at Abel as she said this. It was a good thing Simon was too busy looking through the closet and wasn't able to see them. She felt bad for saying that to him but it was true. She didn't want to give him any false hope, she was a lost cause. He would be better off looking for someone else that would actually be able to like him back. Someone that was actually worthy of him and not as messed up as she was.
"Found one! Can I borrow it? How does it look?"
Simon had put on the hat even before being told he could borrow it. Abby didn't even know if the hat was Abel's or Cain's, she hadn't seen from what side of the closet he had taken it from since she had been too busy looking at Abel the whole time.
"All that hat needs is a yellow letter A on it and you'll look like Alvin the chipmunk."
She felt like beating Abel up for saying such a thing but she couldn't, not if it required touching him. She had thought he was nice but he had just made fun of another member's cute fluffy cheeks. Abel even used to have fluffy cheeks himself back when the group had just debuted but then he lost those cheeks and got a sharp jawline instead.
She didn't know which look she preferred on him since he looked good either way but she did not like it when people made fun of others, even if it was just a joke between friends. She always thought words could be hurtful and she remembered how she was made fun of as a kid for having bigger than normal eyes and because of that she had always hated her eyes.
"You didn't have to say that to him you meanie! You could have hurt his feelings!"
She threw a shower slipper at Abel as soon as Simon had left. She almost felt like a mom scolding a misbehaving child.
"Ouch! That hurt! And it's not like I'm the only one! Cain makes fun of him too and so do the other members! It's just like how we joke around about Josiah looking like a fennec fox. It's our way of joking as friends, relax. No need to get all mad over nothing."
She had heard of cases about members in groups being bullied by other members, she only hoped Adam wasn't one of those groups. Because if they were, she would be very disappointed.
Abby had gone to the kitchen to look for a vase to put the flowers in but of course there weren't any. There were only cups but it was better than nothing. She was humming an Elvis song as she was arranging the flowers into the biggest cup she had found. She hadn't even realized what song she was humming until Joel pointed it out to her when he walked into the kitchen.
"Hey. We gotta go soon. Oh? You like Elvis? Can't Help Falling In Love is a nice song. Are you perhaps falling in love with your girlfriend?"
Abby cringed at the word love. That word always had that effect on her.
"Of course not."
She wasn't falling in love with anyone, not with Abel or anyone else. She couldn't.
"Why are you denying it? I can see it in your face. You love your girlfriend."
She didn't even have a girlfriend to begin with so obviously Joel was wrong. And neither did she have a boyfriend or even anyone that she was remotely interested in such a way. Abby decided to just dismiss what Joel had said and went back to her room for her "to go" bag. He had said they had to leave soon. She didn't know where they were going but apparently the place was a surprise to all but Joel. He only knew because it was him that got to choose the place they were going to, perks of being the leader.
"Is the place we are going to near a hospital?"
They had already been in the van for over an hour when Abby asked this. She never felt comfortable going to places far away, it made her anxious. The unknown and unfamiliar always did that to her and where they were going was both unknown and unfamiliar to her. Because of her Agoraphobia she had never really left Seoul before but she could tell by the signs and scenery that they were no longer in Seoul.
Abby was in the same van as Joel so at least she would be able to get an accurate answer from him. The other two members in the van were Abel and Lucas. But the one sitting next to her was of course Abel. She didn't mind though because he knew not to touch her and it was all thanks to his grandma that had told him about her. Normally she didn't like people telling other people her business but in this case she had been grateful.
"Are you okay?"
Abel peered at her since he knew he couldn't really get too close to her.
If anyone in that van would be able to understand her situation it would be Abel but even he didn't know all the details of her disabilities. He hadn't known her long enough to know that as an Agoraphobe, whenever she went out somewhere she had to know if there was a hospital nearby. By knowing that there was one close to where she would be was like an assurance to her. An assurance that everything would be fine because if an occasion arose, the hospital would be there close by to take her in if she ended up needing special care. And when you were someone like her that felt like she was constantly in danger, knowing that she can be taken care of was a very important thing.
"Why? Do you need a hospital?"
This time it was Joel who was asking. He had signaled for the driver to pull over on the side. He took off his seatbelt and went over to where she was sitting. There was enough room in between her and Abel for another person so Joel had sat in that space but with three people in a row there was not much room. His arms were touching hers and he was looking very closely at her. She quickly regretted having asked about the hospital.
Both Abel and Joel were waiting for an answer from her but she had none, not one she could tell to Joel at least. If it were just Abel then she would have been able to tell him. But they weren't alone, there were three other people there. Abby noticed that the other van with the other members had stopped behind them. She was not only holding back half the group but the group as a whole. She didn't know where or what it was they were going to do but she did know enough to know that it was something important to both the group and the fans.
"Uhh...you know me. I'm just being overdramatic as always. I'm fine but...I had a migraine earlier and I...took a pill for it but the migraine could come back..."
Abel didn't believe her and Abby could tell but it seemed like Joel did.
"Shouldn't you have stayed at the dorms then?"
She had already been a disappointment to everyone in her life and she didn't want to keep being one. The thought of coming up with an excuse to not go with them had actually occurred to her but she had quickly dismissed it. She wasn't going to let Cain become a disappointment to his group members and fans just like she had become a disappointment to everyone she knew. She was doing this for Cain and she was going to follow through with it.
"I already said I'm fine so never mind. Tell the driver to keep driving."
"Well if you say so."
Joel went back to his seat and at this the driver turned on the car to continue driving.
Abby noticed Abel staring at her.
"What?"
She shrugged at him.
Abel decided to take out his phone since he knew the only way they could really talk was through texts.
Abby felt her phone vibrate in the pocket of her hoodie and saw that it was a text from Abel.
<Tell me the truth. Why did you ask about a hospital? Are you feeling sick? Don't lie to me. I can tell when people are lying.>
She didn't know what Abel meant by him being able to tell when people are lying unless he was psychic like his grandma, it was something she still hadn't asked him. And since she had told Cain that she was going to ask Abel about this, now was her chance.
<Are you a psychic like your grandma?>
<Why do you ask that? Does that mean you're really sick then?!>
If Abby was asking him if he was psychic then that could only mean that she really was feeling sick. He wasn't like his grandma but perhaps he had guessed right.
<No. I'm not. Well...it's my Agoraphobia I'm worried about...It's hard to explain but needing to know if a hospital is near a place I'm going to sorta helps my anxiety a bit. So it's not like I actually NEED to go to a hospital, I just sort of need one to be nearby. Get what I mean? You probably don't, no one ever does...Anyways, can you answer my question now. I'm really curious to know if you're like your grandma.>
A lot of people including her psychologist would always tell her that she was lucky that she at least wasn't a housebound Agoraphobe. But just because her Agoraphobia wasn't to those extremities, it didn't mean it couldn't worsen. And ever since the Coronavirus she had noticed her Agoraphobia had gotten worse since the pandemic had given her another reason to be afraid of going out, germs. This new fear of hers was of something that was invisible to the naked eye but it was there, it existed. And not being able to see it only made it scarier.
She really hated that just as her Agoraphobia had started to get a bit better it had regressed and it had all been thanks to her newest mental disorder, Mysophobia. All that progress she had made was lost. She basically needed to start all over. Perhaps the twig had felt bad for her and had "chosen" her because of this.
<Not me but my mom and sisters are. It's only inherited in females. The only thing I'm good at is being able to tell if people are lying but that's pretty much it. And it's not like I'm actually able to know the truth, I can only tell when something is a lie. And that's why I had been suspicious of you this whole time but I also didn't know of what exactly I was suspicious of. So it's just really a feeling.>
He thought it was useless to only be able to tell when people were lying because it wasn't like he would be able to actually force out the truth from people. He knew that if someone lied then it must have been because they had a reason to do so.
<Cool. Sounds like something like that would come in handy.>
<Not really. Sometimes it's more bothersome than helpful to know when someone is lying because not knowing the reason why they are lying just keeps me trying to guess what the truth is. Like you for example, these past few days knowing that something was off with you but not being able to tell what it was was killing me. I wanted to know but I also knew that you wouldn't tell me even if I asked. Because people are like that, they lie just to keep things hidden from others. So please don't ever lie to me. You can always tell me the truth.>
Abel didn't just want Abby to tell him the truth because he didn't want to have to wonder what the truth was but because he wanted her to be able to trust in him and to rely on him. He wanted to be that shoulder Abby could lean on and that shoulder she could cry on. Although of course he would prefer if there were nothing that would actually make her cry to begin with but he knew crying was human nature and therefore inevitable so he wanted to be the one to be able to comfort her when she did cry. To wipe away the tears from her beautiful face and make her smile.
<So is this why you always emphasized the word girlfriend?>
It made sense to her now. If he had emphasized the word it must have been because he knew it was a lie.
<Yes. I knew that was a lie from the start. And the whole time I just wanted to know why you would lie about such a thing when Adam members are not even allowed to date yet. It made me wonder if perhaps you wanted to rebel or maybe even hide something...like being gay. But obviously I know now that you're not because you're not Cain.>
Abby giggled at this. She had actually thought that Abel was gay for a moment and he had actually thought the same of Cain. It was funny how things turned out sometimes. It was pretty obvious to her now that the chances of any of the Adam members actually being gay were slim and that meant none of the ships had been real. How unlucky for her that she ended up living in a dorm filled with guys but none of them ended up being gay or even have a thing for one another. Her yaoi fantasies had been ruined.
<So you're really not gay then?>
She already knew what his answer was going to be but she asked because she liked seeing his reactions.
<Are you a man?>
<Huh? Of course not! I may look like one now but I can assure you that I'm all woman!>
<Then I'm not gay because I like you.>
<But I'm in Cain's body and he's a guy. Want to do it with me?>
She just really wanted to mess with him and see another one of his reactions. It turned out she succeeded because Abel's face had turned a deep shade of red, even his ears had gotten red.
<Once you're back in your body then sure.>
If she was going to troll him then so would he.
Abby's jaw had literally dropped the moment she read Abel's text.
<Does you mother know you're this naughty? Because it seems like you should really be punished.>
<Punish me then mommy. I've been a real bad boy that's in need of a spanking.>
<Boy you have no ass to spank! And I may be older than you but I am not your mommy!>
<Noona then?>
<It's ajumma to you little boy!>
<Hey! I'm not that little and you're not that old to be called an ajumma!>
Abby didn't respond to his text because she had just gotten a text from Cain. She had to exit out of their text messages so she could open up the new text she had gotten.
<Hey. I was originally planning on surprising you but I thought you might be feeling nervous about where you're going right now so I wanted to tell you that I'll be there as well! The makeup artist you guys have called in sick and since none of the 7Guys members have a schedule for today, I'll be Adam's makeup artist for the day!>
Having Abel around especially now that he knew the truth had definitely helped calm her anxiety. But by having Cain there as well she knew that she would be able to feel a lot better. And instead of dreading where they were going like she had been, Abby was now actually excited and couldn't wait to get there just so that she could see Cain.
It had been a week of aches, pains and stiffness but the swelling was something new. Cain looked at his hands, Abby's hands and then at the peanut butter and jelly sandwich he had taken a bite from. The first thing that came to his mind was an allergic reaction. It was the first time since he was in Abby's body that he had eaten something with peanuts. She hadn't told him anything about her having an allergy to them but there was nothing else that could explain the swelling. Not only would the swelling affect him in doing his job but he had also woken up with extreme fatigue that morning. The feeling was almost like when a flu was coming but worse.Already changed and ready to leave for the e.Lee Cosmetics photoshoot, Cain started walking towards the bedroom to grab his phone but even just going a few more steps felt like too much. Feeling sluggish, he could no longer go on and stopped to lay on the couch. Laying made him feel the symptoms even more but just get
Carrying someone the size of Joel was no easy feat for Cain, especially since Abby's body was a lot smaller than his own. He had managed to carry Abby halfway up the staircase but it was then that she started kicking him and telling him to let her go. His back had already been hurting from all the weight it was carrying but her kicking only made it worse since he had to bend down even more just to avoid her kicks. He was near the top when he could no longer carry her. Had it not been for Abel that was there to catch them, they would have most likely fallen down the stairs and because of that Cain felt grateful."How much did she drink?"Abel who had been staring out the window all night had seen when two figures came out of a taxi. As soon as he realized that it was Abby and Cain, he hurried down the stairs with a blanket in hand."3 cans of soju and 3 shots of tequila."Covering Abby with the blanke
<Hey mom. I just wanted to let you know that I have a friend over at my apartment. He's Korean and doesn't know English.>The last thing Abby wanted to do was to end up surprising her mom with a stranger in her apartment. She thought it was for the best to let her know ahead of time, even if it was through a text. It had been weeks since she had actually talked to her mom on the phone.<HE? It's a guy?!>It was just like her mom to only notice the word "he" and then go all crazy about it. Almost 7 years of a daughter not dating would do that to any mother. And the fact that Abby was just one year away from being 30 only made matters worse.<Yes mom. Now please don't make such a big deal like you did with Cain. Joel is only a friend.><No boy in front of that friend?"<NO.><Well it doesn't matter. You'll prob
They had returned back to the dorms and once more Abby had to get adjusted to being called by a different name and not only her but Joel as well. Since they weren't practicing but had the day off, all of the members were at the dorms. Normally on their days off they would go see their families but since half of them were sick, they couldn't. And since both Abby and Joel weren't sick, they were expected to take care of the members that were. The sick members would call out to them but instead of Abby responding to Joel's name, she responded to Cain's. And instead of Joel responding to Cain's name, he responded to his own name. It had the members confused as to what was going on with the two but they would both just laugh it off and say they had just heard wrong."It would be so much easier if all the members just knew."Joel heaved a sigh as he sat down next to Abby. He had just finished helping Seth hang up lights he had bought for their roo
The next morning Abby woke up in an unfamiliar bedroom. She knew as soon as she opened her eyes since the ceiling appeared to be much closer to her, it meant she was higher up off the ground. Looking down, she saw Eli sleeping. Then looking to the side of the room there was a single bed with a sleeping Seth. It was obvious that she was in one of the other bedrooms. And considering how it was the room of the members that hadn't been sick, Abby thought that perhaps Abel had somehow carried her there. He had mentioned to her before about how they could switch up rooms so that she wouldn't have to be with him since he was sick.Looking at the alarm clock on the nightstand, Abby saw that it was 10 minutes till the alarm would go off. Having woken up because she needed to go to the bathroom, she climbed down the bunk bed's ladder. She noticed that her legs didn't seem as long and that her arms seemed more muscular but ignored those things thinking it was just her mind
It wasn't Abel's snoring that had kept Abby up that night but instead it was what she had heard him say before he got into bed. Had anyone else told her that Cain liked her, she wouldn't have believed it. But Abel had sounded so certain when he said those things. There was no doubt in his words and yet she wanted to doubt them. She didn't want another person liking her. But just like she had analyzed Abel's words and actions, she analyzed Cain's as well. She remembered a saying that her sister once told her many years ago, "A guy is only ever that nice and caring to a girl when he likes her." Abby was barely in the 7th grade when her sister told her this. And her sister being 11 years older than her and with more experience had of course been right. Because that saying had turned out to be true when a month later Abby's best friend Brandon confessed to her.All that time she thought her best guy friend waking up early so he could walk
