For some, it is the friendship cultivated through years of understanding, as for others, it is the attraction that cannot be overlooked. Sometimes it is even something that one cannot achieve over a span of time.
This was all true for Clara Sheldon.
In her 22 years of life, she has known Kyle for a good 18 years. At the young age of 4, she met a young boy who was the best friend of Alexander.
The friendship grew over the years, and Clara started feeling emotions as time progressed. Even though they were never in the same class, they knew about each other more than any classmates.
Maybe when you spend so much time together, their existence becomes a part of your life, like a habit.
For all three of them, they were each other's family. They knew about each other's secrets and desires. As Clara was the youngest one, she was spoiled and pampered by the two.
As she entered college, Kyle and Alexander visited her often. She made a lot of friends, and one such friend was Layla Sparks.
A girl as humble as the sky. She was pretty, friendly, and respected boundaries.
Maybe because of her nature, she became best friends with Clara, and thus the struggle started. Layla knew that Clara liked Kyle and that those feelings were deep.
Layla started meeting the boys in the hope of becoming friends and soon began feeling for both. Clara was ignorant of all this.
Clara only knew that Alexander might have a good impression of Layla. She even wanted to help him, but it all changed on the wedding day of Dave Black, Kyle's older brother.

In the dept was night Clara and Alexander were strolling through the garden of Blake Manson.
"Wait, Clara, Kyle might be nearby," Alexander groaned as he moved his long leg to match Clara's hurried steps.
"I am just worried." It has been more than an hour that Kyle left the reception hall. He was not even in his room. Clara wanted to slow down, but her legs had their own brain and refused to stop.
"I think I see him" As soon as Alexander's voice dried, Clara's had a bad feeling.
Following Alexander's eyes, Clara's body shook. Was she angry? Disappointed? she did not know.
Clara could see Kyle back from a distance, but his strong back was caged within two slim hands.
Was she mistaken? She must be, right?
Kyle's lowered his head and kissed the small petite person in his arms. Clara wanted to kill someone, her eyes were flooded with water. Her legs had no power for a single step. She wanted to escape this reality.
Alexander lowered his head, and his heart broke. He supported Clara while his eyes burned with anger. All he wanted to do was break Kyle's face.
Alexander was a ruthless person, to begin with, he was known for his bad temper, but it was never directed towards his friends. But now he just wanted to...
As they turned, Clara's hand was suddenly gripped in a stronghold.
"Let me explain," Layla's sound shuddered. Layla was stuffed with sorrow and grief.
Layla raised her eyes up and stared at Alexander. There was hurt on his face.
Everyone knew Clara's feelings for Kyle, including the person in question. Kyle never acknowledged nor denied it. He was just indifferent towards it.
"Layla, wait inside," Kyle walked towards them with calm steps. His hand ran through his hair in frustration.
Layla was dejected. She wanted to explain, but she also knew that this was not the right time.
"Clara," the voice that once filled her life with flowers was now piercing her like sharp thorns.
Evelyn marched through the door of the company. Her powerful steps were confident and determined.Everyone was looking at the lady in black. Her dress was well fitted, and she was flaunting her figure. Her milky white long leg
Clara's eyes widened. She has heard this voice before.Clara knew this voice. She can not forget it.
Clara entered the restaurant. Her hands were hurting her a lot.She had a dreadful night, scrubbing on the paper with all her experiences. Initially, she wanted to type but then was suddenly informed that her supervisor Lily p
Evelyn emerged herself in deep thoughts. Many things were dancing around her mind, from her meeting with Kyle to Alexander's loving words. Mr. Day, whose face was clouded with worry, knocked and opened the study room door."What are you doing here?" Mr. Day's gaze scanned the dimly lit room. Hardly a window was open, making the atmosphere gloomy and suffocating.Mr. Day saw his daughter sitting on a chair with a clouded expression."It's already late. Sleep.""Y-Yes, I was on my way" Evelyn's speech was soft and faint. She was too immersed in her thoughts to know when her father entered."What's wrong?" Seeing his child distracted, Mr. Day asked, as he entered the room while closing the door.Evelyn looked at her father's worried expression.Lucas Day was not that old to start. Her father was even younger than her mother. Yet as his eyes dropped to look at her, they were alwa
"P-Pa-Pardon," Clara wanted to curl up in shame inwardly. Her mind was screaming at her stupidity with 'He remembers' like a broken recorder.
As soon as Alexander entered the room, his eyes centered on Evelyn. She was lost in her thoughts, staring at a paper in her hand, looking forlorn in the vast room. Her sights were blurred, without any focus.Hearing some noises, Evelyn's eyes wavered for a brief second until she glanced up and met him.Gazing at her eyes, Alexander remembered noticing her in the elevator for a brief second further Kyle's face just seconds ago irritated him more. What struck Alexander more was that Kyle and Evelyn were together in a room.'What did they talk about?''Why was Evelyn so lost in her thoughts?''Was she thinking about Kyle?'Alexander's heart was filled with hidden anxiety. All he desired to do was to hasten towards her and take her in his arms. And he did just that. When the only additional person apart from them left the room. Without much of a thought, Alexander r
