  Janet's POVI'm pissed off right now. I mean how could Melanie just allow that girl to slap her numerous times?   Melanie's POVIt's been a week now since that incident but thankfully with serious sessions, I've been able to get my voice back. The doctor told me it came back quickly because the case isn't that serious. I missed school as well but thanks to my two best friends, I could cover up for the lost time. Janet helped with the notes while Steve helped with the tutoring.Within two days, I got back on track. Thinking about family, Steve's family has been accommodating. We still haven't left their house. Though I'm starting to feel we're overstaying but who was I kidding? We've just used a week and some days and there are times we stayed there for months so I don't think they would have issues with us staying for more than a week.Mom...well I haven't noticed anything unusual about mom.   Steve's POVI woke up the next morning to get ready for school. I proceeded to take my bath. As the water drizzled down, different thoughts drowned my mind.
