16.Stacey is Beautiful

2020-08-21 21:44:40Leo after a long run reached [Herbologist Stacey]'s House and knocked on the door and called out,
" Ms.Stacey, it's me Regulus Light I've collected the herbs you asked for."
Soon he heard the same noise of a person tripping and breaking some stuff inside the house.
"Aah its Mr.Regulus Light, wait a minute ill be right there."
Leo kept waiting and waiting and only when he thought about whether he should stay or leave did he hear the door creak open and out came a cleaned up and beautiful [Herbologist Stacey].
Leo was stunned as looked at her, she was way too different from how she initially looked. Now she was a mature and gorgeous woman that any man would dream about, maybe she was a bit clumsy.
Seeing Leo gawking at her Stacey blushed and shyly asked, "Mr.Light have you collected the herbs I asked for ?"
Leo finally snapped out of it as he gave her the herbs and said: " Ms.Stacey here are the herbs I gathered and I have to tell you, you are gorgeous I couldn't take my eyes off you for a second there."
Stacey became bright red hearing that as she grabbed the herbs and ran back inside in a run. The door was left open but Leo didn't dare enter a girl's house without her permission even if she's an NPC as beautiful as Stacey. Stacey only came out after 5 mins, then she handed him the reward for the quest.

"Mr.Light I can see that you have collected lots of herbs there, did you know that you can make potions using the herbs. "
Leo collected all the herbs he saw on his way to the Bee Hive and on his way back, now he has about 99x and some more of each of the 6 herbs he saw till now. He thought that he could probably sell them to make some money later, he didn't think that it would unlock the quests hidden reward.
What Leo didn't know was that collecting herbs didn't unlock the condition, but it was him complimenting her beauty and waiting for Stacey that improved his favorability to 300 that unlocked the reward. And it was quite hard to improve her favorability because normally you only get +20 Favorability for completing her repeatable quest. And if people just treat this game NPCs like in those in the previous games, then they were sorely mistaken and in for big suffering.
"Yes, Ms.Stacey I quite liked collecting herbs, but I don't know how to make potions. Is there a way for me to learn the way of potion-making ?"

Leo then went to the lab at the end of her garden and after full 10 minutes of listening patiently to Stacey's lecture on potions and the basic combinations to make different potions using the various herbs, he heard the system message.

"Mr.Light that's all that I can teach you about being an alchemist, the rest is up to you."
Stacey smiled and spoke with Leo as she guided him back out of the garden.
"Ms.Stacey thank you for teaching me about being an alchemist. Is there anything I can help you with?"
"Mr.Light there is one thing I need your help with, I need you to deliver this [100-Year-Old Ginseng ] to Mr.Taron."

"Sure, I am heading there right now. I will deliver it to Mr.Taron. See you later Ms.Stacey."
Stacey smiled and watched Leo leave her sight as she sighed with a little red blush as she scurried inside her house.
Leo didn't see the NPC Stacey's expression otherwise he might wonder whether he was interacting with a real woman.
Leo then made his way towards the Blacksmith shop. When he entered the shop, he saw a few people swing the weapons in the shop and trying to making cool poses.
Leo ignored them and went to the counter, he saw Taron and before he could speak he saw Taron gesturing him to follow him to the Backroom. Leo then quietly followed Taron to the Workshop as he pondered how the NPCs even behave like this and wondered whether it's like a cutscene of sorts.
"Mr.Taron I have gathered the herbs and the materials you have asked for and also delivery from Ms.Stacey."
"Good your just in time, hand me the materials."
Leo then handed the materials and Taron put them all in a wooden box with different compartments. Then Taron handed over the box and some instructions to one of the other blacksmiths.

"Mr.Taron I want a sword," said Leo with a serious expression.
"I can see that you have killed the Queen Bee, so you must have its Stinger right. With that and a good quality ore, I can forge a fine sword for you."

Leo made his way towards Ethan and Erza with his name being slightly red he didn't have any other choice. Currently, Ethan is Level 7, and Leo and Erza are Level 8. With his siblings catching up to his level Leo felt joy and was happy for them.Leo swore to protect them in this life because 2 years back when he was 13 he had severe infection and fever for 10 straight days in the winter vacation.
