18.Mysterious Game

Normally, the equipment that Leo auctioned shouldn't have sold out for so many credits even with the scarcity of equipment at the start of them. But at the start of the auction, Leo received a System Report.

Leo just planned to put out all the equipment and be done with the auction so that he could go and level up some more. But with that, a slew of ideas sparked in his mind, as he went through a portion of memories belonging to Alexander.

Leo didn't know why he had an innate talent of a businessman and also why the memories were linked to Alexander, And how the game found out his talent. Maybe the game is more different from the previous ones than he thought.

These were just Leo's thoughts and as the first person to initiate an auction and end up gaining a large amount made him activate one of Alexander's Talent within him.

Leo had used the passives of the talent and the memories in making use of the rotation of items and giving them less hope and an illusion as if that was the last piece of equipment. Using all these techniques he created a situation where he could easily make a huge profit in which he did.

After the last piece of equipment was sold off Leo announced.

"Everyone thanks you for the patronage the auction has ended and if I have anymore in the future ill be selling here in this spot so look out for me."

Then Leo proceeded to close the shop and was about to leave.

Almost everyone was greedy over Leo's pieces of equipment but by now they knew that he had killed over 10 of the MightyOnes in the field and the guards will arrest them if they charged in.

A few sharp people were shocked when the totaled all the equipment was sold for a huge amount of credits and this is just a trash piece of equipment. [Straight Sword] who never showed any expression till now, even when he was bidding showed a slight smile as he approached Leo.

Everyone thought that the group of people led by Straight Sword of Night Remnant was going to threaten Leo to hand over the money and his equipment. But what they saw made them astonished.

" Let me introduced myself, I am Straight Sword. A Vice-Guild Leader of Night Remnant. And may I know who you are ?"

"Hello Vice - Guild Leader Straight Sword, I am Regulus Light."

"Oh, then Mr.Regulus Light if you do find more equipment or items that you want to sell please contact me. Then Farewell."

Leo thought that he had to fight this expert who was ranked at the top of the northern continent. Although he was confident that he would win if it's a 1v1 fight, he couldn't be sure since they had more people.

Leo accepted the friend request from Straight Sword which he had sent before leaving. He saw him leave as soon as he finished his work. Leo then closed the shop and looked around. There were still a few hidden killing intents which he could feel focused on him. So as soon as the Stall Mode closed Leo activated the Phase Walk Skill as he dashed towards the exit of the market area. While he was dashing, he falsifies the information and design of his equipment. He went through a few alleyways and when he emerged out he looked like any other player roaming around.

Even the players who reacted fast and tried to chase after him couldn't find him as they started interrogating the players who were walking around.

Leo quickly made his way out of the crowd. When suddenly he had a wonderous idea as he made his way towards the blacksmith's shop.

After he reached the shop he ventured in and asked the shopkeeper if he could meet Taron, but then he was escorted inside to speak with him. He asked if they could craft swords or daggers using the bee's Stinger and armor using the bee leather. The shopkeeper was Aaron who was Taron's friend. He nodded as he asked for the materials and what was to be made so he could calculate the fees.

Leo then looked around his bag as he took out the Bee's Stingers and Leather. He brought out the normal bees stinger but they were small and not good enough to make weapons. But it could be made into needles and other stuff by the blacksmith's so he sold all the normal stingers and leather to Aaron for 75 Silvers. Then Leo took out the stingers of the 56 [Elite Stinger Lvl.3] and 18 [Queen Bee Guard Lvl.4]. The [Queen Bee Guard Lvl.4] were made into Short Swords with Each costing about 30 Copper and [Elite Stinger Lvl.3] were made into Daggers for 15 Copper. The leather was just sold for about 80 Silver. The total only cost him about 18 Silvers to make the equipment.

The whole process took about 30 minutes in which Leo waited patiently for the equipment to be crafted. After he got the equipment he Inspected to see the Stats.

Leo was satisfied after looking at the stats of the equipment. He came out of the shop as he laughed out loud. Which scared away a few people who thought he was a mad man.

Then Leo made his way towards the well at a corner of the village as he gave StraightSword a Call.

It was picked up and a hologram of StraightSword was displayed before him as he smiled from ear to ear which was hidden by his mask as he said,

"I have a business deal for you, come to these Co-ordinates '***.***' if you're interested. I will wait for 15 Minutes."

StraightSword felt a chill down his spine and felt that something was wrong but he still agreed to meet him.
