21.Goblin Cave

When Leo saw the sharp green glint, he sharply turned back as he unsheathed his sword as he slashed the incoming creature. The creature was blown back up the force in the slash as it had a long gash in its torso. It was quite green and was about as high as his waist. It was a goblin with its nasty gaze and filthy smell, it let out a small scream as it soon got up and screeched some more.

Leo looked at the goblin and used his inspect skill.

Description: Typical useless goblins that hunt other creatures as food using their numbers as an advantage.]

Leo found it strange after looking at its description and the goblin which was shouting out. He then got mad as he figured out that it was calling for other goblins as he could he footsteps echoing and some noises deep in the cave approaching them.

Leo then breathed out as he dashed at the goblin and attacked it using PowerStrike to end its life after hacking it a few more times.

After he collected the few copper coins, the sounds came nearer as he saw a group of 5 goblins coming out deep from the cave. With varying levels of 6 and 7 with almost similar statuses.

It didn't take Leo long enough to dispatch them and he made his way into the cave. After killing a few more groups of goblins he found even more tough ones.

[Goblin Warrior Level 8

HP:600 MP:200

Description: Goblins who can actually fight properly with different weapons. They can kill you so be careful.]

These ones were like elite monsters and had better status and fight more aggressively with weapons such as clubs or swords.

When he killed the first goblin warrior he had reached the exp cap and reached level 6. Leo didn't assign the free attributes and made his way deeper. When he finally reached the deepest part his mouth spasmed as he looked at the scene displayed before him.

A big goblin which was almost as tall as him sitting on a throne-like place and a group of 5 goblins running around and preparing something. They were preparing Bruno. They were gonna cook him alive. He was asleep inside a cooking pot the after-effects of the alcohol.

That NPC was going to be cooked and he was still asleep with a smile on his face. Leo made his way inside as he looked keenly at the Goblin King.*Inspect*

[Goblin King Level 9

HP:1500 MP:500

Skills: King's Roar, Club Smash.

Description: The King of Goblins in this area he loves treasure and loves eating humans the most. So be aware if you are one.]

The goblins that were running around all looked simultaneously at Leo and all screech as they ran towards him smiling thinking he was another food that came in by itself.

Leo found the goblin's silly and unsheathed his sword and made quick work out of the goblins. He then heard a loud roar from the goblin king which stunned him for 2 seconds.

The goblin king was angry as it ran towards the person who killed his subordinates. Leo just got out of the stunned state when the goblin king swung his club at him. He ducked to dodge the club and brandished his sword.

Killing the Goblin King was going to be hard and Leo had to fight with him for about 10 minutes before he could finally empty out the HP. He almost died once when the it used the Club Smash after a King's Roar. He was left in a sorry state and then finally finished it off.

Leo dropped down on his butt as he was sweating and panting hard. He wondered how the game pulls out such realistic actions.

The system asked for his permission to announce his name, but Leo hid his name in the announcement.

Just when he was eating a Refined Honey to fill up his hp and was looking towards the loot dropped but the monster and the announcement. He felt a chill down his spine and he rolled out of the spot due to his instinct.

When he stood up quickly and scanned his spot he found a long gash on where he was before. Good thing he dodged it out of pure instinct from his past lives. He quickly looked around when he found a mysterious floating smoke like entity. The only thing he could make out of it was the 2 dark eyes inside.

He tried Inspect and all he got were ???.

He was shocked when he couldn't find any information as this hasn't happened before. He then calmed down and watched its every movement. But he couldn't make out anything other than the piercing gaze. Then the entity suddenly released extraordinary pressure in the cave which made a few cracks inside and made a few rocks fall from the ceiling.

Due to the pressure on one of the cracks was a distorted entrance of a portal. Leo looked at the Being and the portal and made up his mind.

He quickly activated Phase Walk and made his way towards the portal. When he almost reached halfway inside he felt extreme pain and his vision blurred and before he could see what was on the other side his vision blacked out as it said he and died.

And due to the extreme pain, he felt the game capsule brought him out of the game as his consciousness was restored in reality. The capsule opened up and Leo slowly woke as he was still dazed and was in slight pain and wondered what had happened.
