2020-09-17 04:34:11Anjali was confused, not sure if she was happy or sad. That had been the case since she last met Rahul. Memories of that evening or rather night to be more precise, were still fresh in her mind though almost a month had past since then.
Was it lust, infactuation or a momentary surge in the need of the body? Whay had she allowed that? Despite strong arguements and defence by Rahul, she was unable to completely let go of the guilt she was feeling. After all, she had cheated her husband.
She didn't inform Anupam about what happened. Nor had Anupam enquired. However, she did inform him that she had drinks and dinner with Rahul. Anupam didn't seem to mind that. After all, he was working in the corporate world where there was a lot of openness about women with no room for orthodoxy.
She was happy that Rahul that agreed to discuss with Anupam his candidature for a double promotion. Moreover, Rahul had helped by not giving her the feeling that she had sold herself to get this out-of-turn special privilege for Anupam.
Their sex life had improved considerably during the past one month, that is, after the meeting. Anjali who was strictly against oral sex earlier had started forcing the same and both of them thoroughly enjoyed the variation. Their frequency of lovemaking had improved 50 per cent, and there had been a few instances when they did the act twice, mostly prompted by Anjali again. All this was making her happy. However, she had maintained due restraint by not overdoing or expressing too much joy. She didn't wish to give any clue to her husband that her sex drive has increased.
But it was not only about bodily pleasure alone. She felt that something else was missing. The grace, mannerism and gentleness of Rahul had touched her deep inside. What a personality, what intelligence and what a body and physique! She had grown to like everything about Rahul. Had she fallen in love with him? How was that possible? It had just been 12 hours of togetherness. That feeling of missing something was making her sad.
After the ONE NIGHT STAND, there had been zero communication between her and Rahul and there wasn't supposed to be. After all, he was her husband's super boss and was super busy.
But today she wanted to connect with Rahul. She was sure she would not sleep with him now, come what may. She would not sleep with anyone, in fact, she promised herself. Not her entire life, she extended the bet. Whole life? Are you sure? her soul tried to quiz or tease.
She decided to check if Rahul was online. They had exchanged their numbers but hadn't used it even once, although Anjali would check Rahul's status and display picture every now and then. He was online. She just couldn't resist and sent "Hi. This is Anjali. Remember me?"
"Of course, I remember you, Anjali."
"Can I chat with you for some time?"
"Yes, but not for very long."
"Till you are comfortable."
"Okay. Go ahead. How is Anupam?"
"He is fine. Has been on a tour."
"How is life otherwise?"
"Good. In fact rocking, after our one night stand."
"Ha-ha. What else can I do for you?"
"Not sure what you can do for me. Actually, I am not sure what I want from life."
"I know what you want from life. You want more variety. I provided a lit bit of it. That doesn't mean you sleep with other men."
Anjali was stunned. It was a direct and blunt reply. He could make an assessment and provide an answer so quickly, though he knew hardly anything about her. Her respect for Rahul had gone up much faster than AB De Villers strike rate in slog overs.
"Are you there, Anjali?"
"Oh yes! Sorry. Just trying to absorb your reply."
"Actually, I have to discontinue now. Going for a meeting. Bye and have a good day and good night."
"Ha-ha. Good night, I guess, has two meanings! Anyway, same to you, Rahul."
Anjali thought about what Rahul said. Her requirement for sexual satisfaction had gone up tremendously. Today she was feeling it more since Anupam had gone out of town yesterday. How she had spent last night alone, only she knew. May be variety in sex would do.
