Chapter 1: Is It Her

2020-10-18 18:19:55In a garden a girl is sitting under a tree on a mat, sitting alone she is watching sunset.
Not for from her a man in his twenties is watching her through the glass window of the restaurant.
She is wearing an Orange colour dress just like the light of the sky during sunrise, her face is like a flower that has just bloomed, her body is emitting the light of newly emerging leaf, her eyes....
Looking at her eyes he raised his eyebrows as if he is seeing things.
'Those eyes...'
Why thinking, he was interrupted by a person
"Hello Mr Thomson sorry I am late..... let's order first"
He retracted his eyes and said
"Oh Mr Henry, I knowyou are a busy person but...."
Mr Henry understood what he wanted to say so he interrupted Mr Thomson saying
"I know, I know your time is limited. So I won't take much of your time"
Saying this they ordered and started to talk business but in between Mr Thomson and would glance at the girl through the window.
He could see her expressions clearly. But every time he looks at her his gaze would stop on her eyes that looks familiar.
"Her eyes... " he thought
After the meeting, outside the restaurant, he saw the girl is playing with a bunch of kids.
He saw her smile for the first time till now.
As he was in daze, he saw her running towards him in hurry, her face is full of worry.......
While running she turned behind. Thomson saw at her gaze and shocked. He ran towards her and held her in his arms.
"Boom....'
A gun fire, it was for Mr Thomson!
While playing with the kids, she saw someone got out of the car holding the gun and the person inside pointed to Mr Thomson.
She did not see the persons face but saw his hand with a golden bracelet which had a scorpion picture on it.
Seeing the finger pointing towards Mr Thomson she ran towards him to tell him and to save his life.
Hearing the gun shot several bodyguards rushed and covered the two of them.
'Boom.. Boooom.... Boom..... Boom...'
The gun fire started both sides....
He held her in his arms and started to move to a safer place. Not far from him he saw a car and took shelter.
"Are you alright..... " both asked at the same time
Just than 'Boom...' the guns shot the window glass which made a deep wound on her arm.
"Ahhhhh....." she shouted.
He looked at her and when his gaze fell on her wound he heard a car screech and stand in front of them and driver said
"Get in....."
Thomson held her in his arms and got into the car which fled faster with some bodyguards tailing the car behind.
"To the hospital" he yelled in anxiety
"Yes sir" the driver said.

In the hospital
Thomson entered the hospital carrying her in his arms. Doctor was waiting for him outside the VIP ward.
He put her on the bed and as he was about to call the doctor in, he saw a scar behind her ear which was not fully covered by her hair.
It looked like the birth mark. He was stunned. He slowly removed her hair so that he can take a clear look.
'Is it her?' he thought for a moment and in anxity he hugged her.
"You are alive" he said while thanking God.
As if he remember something he released her and called the doctor in.
Doctor rushed and treated her, he sewed the stitches and gave the prescription.
"Wounds are deep. She needs rest" saying this the doctor went out.
"Richa" he said in a low voice as he is crying and wanting her to console him
