"Honey, when are you going to find a man?" My mother mumbles while preparing some tea in the kitchen.

"I will mom, right now am busy with work okay. I whisper while my mother glances at me

amazed.

Not that I'm engaged with work but I just can't disclose the right man. I have been going on dates almost every night. The man that begs me on a date only crave sex or just love my body.

The only reason I give them sex is that I sometimes think that they will stay, but they don't. I am done going after the man that don't know what they want. All I have to do right now is to be forced on my job and nothing more

"I know you love redeeming children's life's but you need someone to keep you warm at night.

Look at how happy I and your stepdad are. We keep it going all night long."

My mother mumbles and takes a sit by the coffee table.

"Mother you making me late for work okay. Today I will sleep at my house because I can't lesion to your speeches anymore." I say and take my car keys on top of the table.

"You don't have to go, honey. I won't talk about it any more okay!" I didn't answer back but gave her a kiss on her forehead and left.

I spend weekends at my mother's house with my family. I don't leave with anyone but myself. My twin sisters have asked to leave with me before but I refused because I enjoy spending some time alone. Sometimes am not even around but travelling with friends. I hope to travel with my husband one day.

From my mother's house to work its about an hour drive. I stopped by some coffee shop to get something to eat. I didn't even get anything to eat because my mother was talking nonstop about husbands and all that shit. I got some coffee and vanilla cookies to eat on the way.

I arrived 30 minutes earlier at work. Went to my office to finish eating my cookies.

"Good morning doctor Lisa." Said Dan while standing by the door. Dan and I have been working together since the day I started working here in this hospital. He's one of the kindest people I have ever worked with. I really like him a lot but the problem is that he's married he didn't have any children.

"Good morning Dan. How's your wife doing?" I asked while fixing myself." She's fine thanks for asking. Although I don't understand why you keep on asking the same question." He said while picking up a picture that's on top of the table. "The only reason I ask is that I care for people I work with," I said while looking straight to his eyes.

I know that's a lie because I don't like his wife. She's annoying and fucked up. The only reason she's with Dan is because of his money, nothing more nothing less.

"Who's this?" He asked holding my twin sisters picture.

"My little twin sisters Sophie and Sophia," I said as I went close to him. "They cute, I wish I also had children of my own." He said as his expression changed.

"Why don't you and Ana have children?" I asked just for the fun of it because he had told me before about Ana not being able to have children.

"Well, Ana can't have children." He said.

"Why don't you try other options?" I asked after a few seconds of not saying anything.

"I asked her but she wants her own children, not any other options."

"Did you think about her possibly

telling you lies about not being able to have children?" I say with a smile on my face

"It has not yet come to my mind." He announced as I gave him a hug.

I told him that everything was going to be fine and he can talk to me anytime.

"Doctors, you needed in room 1.8.9." Some lady that I have never saw before said and we ran towards the room.

"What happened to this little one," I asked the doctors that were already in the room.

"His name is Thabo and he was in a car accident." Doctor Andy said.

"How old is he?" Dan asked after a few seconds later.

"He's nine years old," Doctor Rozelle explained.

After one hour later of helping Thabo, Dan wasn't feeling well. He had to go home. I guess I will spend lunch with doctor Rozelle.
