2020-09-08 14:11:05Near the city gates everyone can see a figure gracefully walking back and forth in front of her carriage, they can see that the young lady is somewhat impatient and some men who were admiring her from afar are wondering whose the lucky one she is meeting.
The stars pale in comparison to the lady's doe like eyes, her button nose is just the right shape and size on her heart shaped face with her pinkish lips. Her pinkish white skin is emphasize by her dark purple hanfu. She is simply a real life fairy for the observers and their muse didn't seem to noticed everyone's attention at her.
Xue helplessly attend to her young miss. When Xiuying heard that her brother will arrived today she immediately sets off and waited at the city gates even before the sunrise, thankfully Xiao Hua didn't forget to bring snacks and water with them otherwise they will starve while waiting. However because of the excitement that Xiuying was feeling earlier she forgot to wear her veil before going out.
"Xue'er why brother haven't arrived yet we have been waiting here for hours..." Xiuying pouts and started kicking some of the stones in front of her lightly.
"Young miss that is why Madam advised us to just wait at the residence instead of waiting here." Xue can't help but remind the impatient lady. She really wants to advise again her young miss to wait inside the carriage but she knows she will just be ignored.
"Now that is wrong Xue'er, brother will definitely be happy when he sees me here waiting for him!" Xiuying stops playing with the stones and faces Xue'er while placing her hands on her hips.

"Good that you know now. Brother is really taking time, maybe he brought me my sister in law? What do you two think?"
"My sister, is that all you can think of? Is your brother not enough anymore to play with you?" a low but playful voice is heard from Xiuying's back.
Upon hearing it Xiuying turn back and immediately hugs Qi Ming who is wearing a simple black hanfu but once seen by expert seamstress they will immediately notice that its fabric is expensive and of highest quality.
"Brother! You are finally here! You always travel so bringing me a sister in law will be better I won't miss you too much when you travel again!" Xiuying answered back and grins.
"You rascal! You don't know anymore how to appreciate your only brother!" Qi Ming's right hand pats his sister's head which was slap by Xiuying as she pouts. He just chuckles at her sister's action, he knows that his sister hates it when her hairstyle is messed up but he loves patting her head.
While the pair of beautiful siblings are speaking the young men are thankful that the lady they are admiring isn't married yet but seeing the young man's face they immediately recognized him as the only son of Qi Chen. Realizing this fact, all of them are speechless and look again at the young lady being called as sister by Qi Ming. Everyone has the same thought that the young lady must be the only daughter of Qi Chen who is rumored as an ugly lady with no skills.
All these time what they knew is false if this young lady is ugly then no one is beautiful! Some of the ladies grit their teeth in envy but knowing that the same person is known to have no talent they calm down a bit. While the smart ones decided to observe more maybe even the rumors of her being talentless isn't true as well.
While Xiuying is busy telling stories of what happened in the past two months to her brother she didn't noticed Qi Ming glanced at the second floor of Drunken restaurant and slightly nod.
"Ying'er lets go home we can't stay here for too long we are already attracting everyone's attention just with your face..." Qi Ming immediately helps his sister get inside the carriage. Sigh! The pests lurking around the manor will keep on increasing if we stay longer!
"Eh?! Brother it is just a face when I get old, people won't even look at me!"
After getting inside the carriage, Qi Ming immediately ordered to go back to the manor. "Hmp! Don't take me for a fool Ying'er you even use my return just to clear the rumors of you being ugly!"
After being found out by her brother Xiuying just sticks out her tongue while the other flicks her forehead.
"Brother, you hurt me!" Xiuying exclaimed while rubbing her forehead.
"That's for using me for your scheme! Hmp!" Qi Ming reprimanded Xiuying before bursting into laughter after seeing the cute appearance of her sister while pouting even Xue and Xiao Hua who was allowed by the siblings to join them inside the carriage laughs at their young miss.
