The following day Long Yue who was walking in the garden saw Qi Fan acting like she's already Matriach of Long Fu. It seems her sister in law isn't aware yet of what happened to her family.

Long Guanting wasn't in the capital as Patriach Long sent him to the South for the yearly inspection of their businesses there while her in laws didn't inform Qi Fan of what happened as the physician said that Qi Fan shouldn't be agitated especially during the first three months of her pregnancy.
Long Yue is actually not angry at Qi Fan but upon hearing the fact that his brother almost committed a crime by hiring assassins to kill Qi Xiuying because of the indirect urging of Qi Fan, she decided that a woman like her shouldn't stay in their residence nor hold the position as the first wife of her brother.
"So you don't know that your mother tried to kill your father's second wife who was pregnant nor the fact that because of her Patriach Qi is in critical condition?" Long Yue's voice sounded surprise as if she didn't know that her parents intentionally didn't inform Qi Fan.
"You're lying! My mother isn't dead and she isn't one to make commotions unless she's been provoke by someone!" Qi Fan hurriedly stands and rushed in front of Long Yue. Her servants tried to stop Qi Fan but they're too afraid to hurt her thus their hold aren't strong so Qi Fan was able to move.
"Eh? Why would I lie to you sister in law? What would get from doing so?" Qi Fan knew that Guanting's younger sister didn't like her but she ignored it but now hearing the lady reprimanding her as the wife of Long Yue's eldest brother doesn't sound right for her. She should be respected as an elder. She can even hear the sarcasm in Long Yue's voice whenever she say the words 'sister in law'.
She pushed Long Yue and ordered one of the servants to prepare as she wants to immediately go to Qi Fu. Seeing the pregnant figure of Qi Fan disappear in the garden Long Yue's smirk became more evident.
"Young miss you shouldn't have provoke first young master's wife. What if she cause trouble to you or..." Li Mama anxiously reminded Long Yue.
"Or she loses her child? It'll be better if that happened because as long as that woman have connection to Long Fu our family will soon face problems. She isn't fit to be my brother's first wife not even the position of a concubine. Let's go back to my courtyard."
Upon reaching Qi Fu, Qi Fan immediately went to her mother's courtyard only to see the servants preparing to setup the mourning hall in Fang Fei's receiving area.
"Mother!!!" The servants were startled seeing Qi Fan in Qi Fu. She immediately hug the now cold body of her mother, she can feel the wounds under Fang Fei's white hanfu. "Elder Sister..." Qi Lei called Qi Fan as he approached her. Qi Fan looks at her brother who is now thinner and have dark circles under his eyes.
"Why you didn't protect her?! You're the only one aside from father to protect mother!" Qi Fan slaps Qi Lei so hard that his cheeks immediately started to swell but the man stay rooted on his position.
"You ingrate bastard! You didn't protect mother even after all the years she feed you!" Qi Fan's voice rang in all corners of the hall. It is a known secret that Qi Lei wasn't Qi Chang's son, he was an illegitimate son of Fang Fei with one of officials who have dealings with Qi Chang. Qi Fan keep on punching Qi Lei's chest. He just let her vent out her anger at him, he was long used to their treatment to him.
"Qi Fan stop! He is still your brother!" Qi Bai shouted seeing Qi Fan keep on punching her brother as he arrived in Fang Fei's courtyard.
"Second Uncle why is my mother's body here when the mourning hall should be in the main courtyard. She is the first wife of my father." Qi Fan stop hurting Qi Lei and faced her second uncle.
"Your mother is the reason why your grandfather is in critical condition you should be thankful that we are still setting up her mourning hall." Qi Bai sternly stated. It is the first time Qi Fan sees her second uncle look at her openly with disdain.
"Where's father?! My father wouldn't allow this!" Qi Fan started to leave to go to his father but stop upon hearing Qi Bai's voice again.
"He is in jail for killing your mother."
"No he wouldn't! He didn't kill my mother!" Qi Fan's face started to redden in anger. The mamas and servants she brought started to whisper to her ears to calm her down. Her anger isn't good for her child and they would be punished if something bad happens to her.
"You need to calm down Qi Fan, it isn't good for your child." Qi Bai reminded his niece seeing the worried faces of the servants. He knows that it will not do them good if Qi Fan have a miscarriage while in Qi Fu. Hearing it Qi Fan tries to calm down she knows that her unborn child is important for her to have a stable foothold in Long Fu.
"Qi Lei bring back your sister to Long Fu. She isn't required to be here since she is pregnant." Qi Lei immediately complied to Qi Bai and guided the listless Qi Fan.
