I became speechless. Well, obviously Kira, the song is for you since you have requested it. But maybe what he really meant is the other meaning that I'm still trying to understand? 

"Thank you. That's...wonderful." That was all I could say. Sighing out of disappointment, he stood up from his seat and looked at me deep in the eyes as if trying to tell me something through staring that he can't possibly say out loud but failed in the process.

He sighed once again. I tilted my head to the side, confused by what he was trying to convey to me. 

"You are still confused. But not for long. I'll show you so that you'll understand." 

"Understand what? Why don't you just tell me? I'll listen." 

"You'll listen but you won't understand. You'll have doubts if I would tell you so it's best if I'd show it to you for when the time comes," he paused and leaned forward. "I'd—"

vrrrrtttt...

The phone on his pocket abruptly vibrated, causing him to pick it up in great annoyance. He stood erect and glanced at his phone. He looked at me once more and answered it without a second thought. 

"Yeah?" 

I stood there in silence as I looked at the ground like it was the most interesting thing to me while he is talking to the person on the phone. 

I could feel his deadly gaze at me but I've chosen to ignore it; to ignore the feeling that it was making me feel. 

He is so hard to understand but what he said a while ago did hit me. 

I keep asking questions on why is it that I can't seem to understand anything when in reality, it was myself that I couldn't understand. 

I really couldn't understand myself why I chose not to understand and that I don't want to understand.

Why? Is it because I'm scared to get hurt? Or maybe it's because that I don't want to assume? 

Either way, I'm still protecting my feelings but he says he'll show me.

Show me what?

"I'll be going somewhere." Says, Neal. I looked up at him as he placed his phone back into his pocket and faced me. 

"Where are you going?" 

"My company. Stay here and be a good—"

"Why? What are you going to do there?" I crossed my arms and narrowed my eyes at him.

"My sister wants me to bring her some snacks. She told me that you can come but I refused."

"I want to come with you, then!" I frowned at him. He raised an eyebrow at me and placed his hands on his pockets.

"Only models are allowed in there. If you want to become one, you are not qualified since you are short. Too short." 

"How rude of you. You don't have to say it directly to my face. I know." I turned my back on him. Easy for him to say since he's tall. If I had guessed correctly, my height is only at his shoulder level. 

And besides, I don't have any plans on becoming a model! I just want to see and talk to ate July! That's all.

But maybe I'm also a bit curious as to what his company looks like inside and out. 

I heard him chuckling behind me so I faced him. He placed a hand on my head and rubbed it like I was his damn dog. 

"You may be too short to become a model but that's more than qualified for me. Only for me and not for anyone else." I was stunned by his words. Again.

What did he eat a while ago and he's like this? Is he on high or something?

My eyes followed him as he walked past me and stopped at the door. "What are you waiting for?" 

I grinned from ear to ear upon hearing him say it and followed him.

"Let me just buy some snacks at the jollibuzz's drive thru." I just nodded at him while sitting quietly at the passenger seat on his Lamborghini while looking at the pinkish skies outside.

I didn't really know that he had a car. And that, he still has other cars. Well, obviously it's because I never asked him. He just told me a while ago that there was a parking lot right next to the mansion. 

I shifted on my seat and pulled the tip of my white baby doll dress. It's an inch above my knee-length and it's making me timid. I couldn't find and pick some dress that's good enough to wear today so I've chosen this. 

I only braided the right side of my hair and let my remaining strands of hair to fall on my shoulders. It helps me with my confidence.

Neal noticed my shy gestures so he tried to tell me something that made me ease up a bit.

"Remind me to scold big sis for that. Let's buy some clothes that you're comfortable with."

"Haha, thanks but it's okay. Ate did buy this for me so it's a waste if I don't wear it. 

"As you say so." 

We didn't talk after that until we reached the drive thru. 

"Good afternoon, sir, ma'am! Welcome to Jollibuzz's drive thru! May I take your order?" A smiling boy around my age said. 

"Good morning to you, too!" I smiled at him and he smiled back. I'm quite glad that it's not a girl because I know for sure that it'll cause a ruckus. Glancing on Neal, I noticed that he was raising a brow so I stared at him, wondering. 

His expression suddenly changed as he looks at the boy with a hard expression.

"One Jolly Twirl Sundae and one Peach Mango Pie." Aw, was that all? If only I could just order a choco float. It's my favorite, that's why.

"Is that all, sir?" Neal looked at me and asked, 

"What do you want to eat?" Nice!

"Two choco float, two burgers, and two French fries, please." I grinned at him like a little child.

He didn't complain about my order and nodded at the boy. Neal then closed the side mirror and drove. 

Once we got our order, Neal continued driving our way to his company. 

"Can you finish all of those?" He suddenly asked. I held the foods and drinks properly on my lap and looked at him.

"I ordered for the both of us."

"You know that I am picky."

"Not anymore." I smiled at him. All he could do was sigh deeply and stay silent. Whatever he says, he can't argue with me and it's also because I won't let him. 

It's quite shocking tho since he's not being bossy and cocky. What a change. I bet he'll return to his old, rude and cocky nature later. 

"We're here."
