The Death Light

It wasn't weird for him to see someone else use the same powers that were granted by God but the powers that he saw was quite weak when compared to that of heaven.

"I guess... now I know why we are called THE ANGELS OF EARTH!"

He murmured as slowly as he could. He wasn't particularly awake of what God wanted the humans to do by granting them the power of heaven.

"Are you alright? You seemed to be spacing out...", the doctor immediately showed her concern for Jay who was constantly bullied.

She was no one related to his family nor was she someone who was indebted to him. She just genuinely wanted to help him.

It might have been humanity or a human's nature that was still alive within her while others had already abandoned it after they had received the power from the heavens.

"I'm alright miss, it's just that my back his hurting..."

She immediately started healing him againt using the magical power of the heavens.

"Eh?", she suddenly stooped in between while she was heloing his fractured bones to be repaired.

"What happened miss? Is something wrong?"

Jay too turned back to ask her the moment she paused the healing maguc. She the suddenly stood up and rushed towards the table that was placed in front of her abd opened a crystal from her bag which was completely transparent.

She held it while wearing gloves that prevented the crystal from reacting to her powers.

"Jay, hold it immediately in your hands...", it seemed as if she was excited and was trying to see something.

"...", Jay was quite for a few moments and didn't react. 

On seeing this she told, "I will explain it later, just hold it for a second..."

But Jay didn't want any explanation since he was already aware of what she was trying to do.

It was a crsytal that could measure the type of magic or power an angel had. It could even show the so called class that the humans had made too.

"I don't want anyone to know about my powers...", was what Jay thinking.

He absolutely didn't want anyone to be aware that Jay had the powers of the angels. The truth was that Jay himself was an angel but he had no intention of climbing the tower.

If no one would know about his powers, then they wouldn't bother to trouble him to climb it.

Even if there was a lot of merit if everyone came to know about his awakening, there would be much more demerit that would eventually guve more troubles.

"Why that miss? I don't have any powers... haha"

"Eh? How did you know that this crystal is used to indicate the power of an angel?"

She was not a kid that she wouldn't notice what he said. 

"Huh? Well it was written in books...", he answered without thinking since that was the only thing he could say.

"Books?", she thought for a while and then sighed.

"Ya, you might have read in the books, but at least come and test. Who knows you might have awakened your powers...?"

She wanted to help him in every way possible and knowing ones power gives him an advantage and courage.

"No, it's fine. I would be disappointed anyway... and even if I had power, I wouldn't like to announce it to anyone."

The doctor paused for a few minutes and said, "Ya, if they were to announce that you were an angel, then all the safety laws and benefits of a humans won't be appied to you anymore."

Jay nodded his head and then immediately stood up and started to walk out if the room.

"Jay, wait... won't you rest here today?"

"No, today I think it will be better if I attend the class..."

"Okay then..."

Jay immmediately left the room. The doctor was indeed surprised when Jay told about leaving and attending the class.

Usually, it was the doctor who forced him to leave the room after the school ended since he was afraid of being bullied. But right now, he himself left which was quite shocking to her.

"Haha, looks like you too are growing up."

She was then about to resume her works when suddenly the crystal orb that she was having slipped from her hand due to carelessness.

"Oops!", she immedietly jumped to catch it efore it could touch the ground and break.

But unfortunately even though she grabbed it somehow, it slipped yet again due to her losing her balance since she was in mid air as she had jumped off from the chair.

'BAM'

She fell on the ground while hitting her head against the floor.

"Ouch... what's wrong with me today?"

The orb somehow managed to fall on the bed where Jay was sitting earlier this time and thanks to that it didn't break.

She immmediately got up and went tried to clean the little bit dust that had sticked to her clothes.

Then she immediately walked towards the washroom in order to throw the gloves in the dustbin which was placed there as they had become a little dirty and couldn't be reused.

She immediately rushed out within 2 minutes.

"Ahhhh!", she shouted but thankfully no one heard since the door was closed and it was a bit soundproof so that the sounds could neither enter nor leave the medical room.

"W-why? Why is it glowing? And that too... black colour?"

The orb which earlier had landed at the bed where Jay was sitting was shining with black light.

She slowly walked towards the orb and immediately grabbed it after which it suddenly started to glow with green light.

"It's working perfectly fine... then why was it showing black light?"

She then observed that there was a strand of hair fallen on the ned which when came in contact with the orb, transmitted the power inside it due to which it glowed black.

"Whose... hair is this?"

There were totally 6 people who had already visited the place earlier today and none of them had awakened their powers, in fact they had come to take the test!

"I need to find out soon... who is the one who produced the DEATH LIGHT!!?"
