LOGINLiliana's point of view
My head ached, shit! I mutterred. I heard a loud thud and I groan in frustrated clearly pissed; why were there so much noise?, Why do they always have to make noise about everything?
"Liliana!" Juliana's loud voice shriek, irritating my ears as I used my duvet to cover my face.
What a messed up house! I huffed. I needed sleep, my entire body was weak. I was too tired to get off the bed.
The door to my room banged open, making me rumble on my bed with frustration, I definitely wasn't in a house of peace.
I finally sat on my bed, glaring at a smiling Juli with her teeth wide opened as if I care. "Good morning!" She squealed, opening the windows to my room and then it dawn to me.
Wait? Where am I? I jumped out of the bed, seeing the mess in my room, I knew I had a lot of work to do, reason why the house was making a lot of noise.
We recently moved to New York city last night and due to tiredness, I left my bags and belongings any how I could so I could sleep and get to work today.
Shit! What a messed up day, where do I start from. I raked my fingers through my hair, groaning in frustration.
"We have a so much to do and why did you fly off of your bed?" Juli asked with her hands on her waist.
"WE ARE IN NEW YORK CITY!" I yelled out.
"Like we are in New york?" I repeated with my eyes wide open. Juli chuckled lightly, "Yes Liliana, we are in New York, oh come on!" Juliana said.
"We have a lot of things to do, firstly we have to arrange your bed room and help dad and mom too," She said to me, opening my box.
Juli sighed, "Come on, come and help me Liliana," She said when she saw I wasn't moving from the spot I was standing on.
What a way to start a new day, more work and more work. I want to be a princess and not do any work at all. I need a prince right now! I whined within me walking towards Juliana.
Let me introduce myself to you, my name is Liliana Lim, which I'm sure all of you know, I am seventeen years old, obviously in my junior year of high school.
I am the second child of my parent and the last girl of my parent although I don't get the privilege that often. I have an older sister named Juliana, obviously I mentioned her before and a younger brother named Dennis, the only man of the family asides my father.
My father Mr Robert Lim is partly an Asian, an partly American. He was and is a computer engineer, a geek at that too. My mother...I don't want to even go there because explaining what she does pisses me off considering her job stole her from us.
My mother is a nurse but mostly those nurse that takes care of people with critical condition and that is by staying and assisting them considering they are incapable for the time being.
My older sister Julie is a graduate from the the university of New York with a bachelor's degree in computer science, another geek at that.
My younger brother is fourteen, an eight graders who stood at six feet already. Guess what?, I am the shortest one in the family and I blamed my younger brother for not letting me grow before coming into this world...lol, don't take that serious.
I stood at five feet two, the same height with my mother, let me get over with this boring talk.
"So, how about we go shopping first and then, you know?" Juli suggested but she Knew shopping wasn't my thing.
I used to be an extrovert until series of things happened and fact is, I'm shy definitely not an introvert.
"Girls!" We both turn our heads around to see my mother standing in front of the door, already dressed.
One thing I admired about my mother was her fashion sense, which Juli literally took over but I am the complete replica of my mother and so was Juli.
We literally were once mistaken to be sisters considering my mother looked hot and young in her early forties.
Julie stood at the height of five feet six telling us she wasn't in out level, lol.
"Good morning mom!" We both said together.
"Liliana, I need the both of us to go and visit our neighbors later in the day and Juliana you can tag along if you are chanced," My mother said.
Juliana smiled, "I'm not chanced mother, I have somewhere to be at," she muttered.
Obviously at her boyfriend's place, I scoffed.
We both continued to arrange my room after my mother left. She helped putting furnitures at the appropriate place and helped clean the room once we were done.
"Ah!" I heaved a sigh when I realised we were both done.
I hurried up to take my bath. When I came back Juliana was still sitting on my bed with a book on her hand.
She gave me a knowing look and I cringed, I wasn't ready to hear any of her stories. "Kindly come and sit lily, we have a lot to talk about," She smirked.
I shook my head knowing it was going to be a very long talk.
And when I say a long talk, a very long one.
Liliana's point of viewI yawned as I stretched my hand, sitting on my bed. I rubbed my eyes with my palm as is try to keep my eyes opened.New day, and weekend. I got off my bed as I made an attempt to open my window, I remembered who my neighbor was; Ricardo. The guy who I thought to be my friend but who disgraced me most. I frowned when I recalled last night scene."Hmph!" I walked away instead. I opened the door to my room as I made my way downstairs.I suddenly started kissing Juliana. If only she was ber, food would be ready and I'd get to feel livelihood.I walked into the kitchen to see Dennis eating. "Good morning," he greeted."Good morning," I replied. I walked over to the refrigerator to get something to eat."Oh no!" There's no more milk. I heaved a sigh."You look like a mess. Where did
Liliana's point of viewI did a 360 full turn as soon as he said his last statement. At first my heart felt as if, it was dragged out of his position but I was able to get myself as quick as possible.I was a teenager too and I never for once try to make everything in life about sexuality! I felt the urge to curse suddenly, something I wasn't used to but I bit my lips from doing such and going against my principles. The smirk on his face riled me up and suddenly I couldn't control my tongue anymore and before I realised, I spat out words I shouldn't have."Too bad I don't give head to lollipops lil' dad," I retorted with a scoff.I felt the urge to slap my mouth
Liliana's point of viewI have never gone out to visit someone at night talkless of going to places that was crowded.I fidgeted my fingers while sitting at the back of the taxi, I was nervous and I didn't know how the night would turn out like.Once I finally reached my destination, I paid the taxi man and got down. I contemplated if I should call Crystal and tell her I was around or if I should just walk closer first.Once I got passed the gate, I was in awe of the building in front of me; it wasn't just a building but a mansion. The whole place was crowded with people. It wasn't a house, it was a Mansion. Who could live here? I thought.I saw teenagers all over and the music could be heard out loud outside making me wonder if this was a legal party. The front yard was filled with drunk, horny tee
Liliana's point of viewI was starting to become dull! I knew I wasn't good with mathematics neither was I good with physics but at least I was an average student when it came to those subjects but now it was as if I was reading in Japanese and I couldn't phantom anything at all.I tore the shit of my book because I got the question wrong. I have been trying to solve this question for the past one hour but nothing seems to fit. This is so frustrating, I guess God decided to skip my brain when he was giving knowledge on mathematics.I placed my head on my bed trying to calm my brain and come up with
Liliana's point of viewI ran out of the stage with shame, disappointed about how I planned the entire day. I was all prepared for the speech. My mother came surprisingly and with pride I was so sure I'd win. I was going to make sure my mother was here and today she'd be proud of me and attend every of my competition.I was halfway though the debate when I saw my mother stood up from her seat, answering a phone call.I suddenly lost concentration as I watched her movement, forgetting my points. I heard mufflings from the crowd, all eyes on me.I could do it, I said to myself but who was I kidding? I couldn't. It was the end for me, I had lost it all.I ran out of the stage in shame, crying my eyes out. This was supposed to be the best for me. My mother didn't bother to check on
Liliana's point of viewI closed my eyes whilst walking alongside. The breeze from the sea sent goosebumps on my skin making me shiver slightly. The smell of the beach was sooting to me and I loved the feel of the beach sand on my feet."You are really enjoying the weather?" Ricardo voice brought me out of my reverie."Oh. I do, I like the beach, one of my favorite places to be on earth," I said to him."So, Lily, tell me, if you had to choose between leaving the country to stay with your loved ones when there is war or stay in the country and help with the situation, what would it be?" Ricardo asked. At first, I stopped and raised my brows at him, giving him a questioning look."Okay scratch that," he said and I chuckled."Seriously? Is that even a question?" I asked him."Now answ
