LOGINLiliana's point of view
Juli twitched her eyes, patting on the other side of the bed for me to sit. Why do I have to have this kind of pestering sister? She was a bone in my neck who wanted every of her wishes granted.
"No it's and but Lily, you are definitely..." I cut her off placing my palm on my ears, "Blah blah blah!" I spat out childishly.
"Get a life Juli," I said and she chuckled.
"This is painful you know Lily, did you just call me jobless?" She feigned hurt and I stucked out my tongue for her.
"You know, none of this will obviously move me, not at all!" i muttered sticking my tongue out for her.
"But seriously, you are seventeen Lily and you haven't gotten a boyfriend for yourself," She said.
"A round of applause for you July, tell me how many accolades people got for having a boyfriend!" I asked her.
Why do someone have to have a boyfriend? And most importantly what are the benefits of having a boyfriend?
"You haven't had your first kiss lily, not that it is bad but this is a new place for a change, you know?" Juliana lamented.
I frowned at her, "You don't have to remind me, I know this is a new place for a change but..." I trailed off.
I was glad we actually moved here, memories of what happened in Florida still affected me.
"No ifs and but liliana, you are definitely getting a boyfriend and if you don't do that soon, I'm gonna tell the gods of boyfriend on you!" She threatened and I chuckled.
"Are you done?" I asked her. When was the gods of boyfriend created? Juliana always have a way to make someone laugh.
"I'm guessing the gods of boyfriend was created by you right?" I asked her, raising my brows at her.
"I don't know, you will find out soon and I pray for you, that the gods of boyfriend finds you this year!" She chanted as if she was speaking in tongues.
"Juliana Elizabeth Lim!" I squealed.
"Liliana Rose Lim!" She retorted and we both laughed out loud, holding unto our stomach.
There was no better sister I would ask for, she was my very best friend and the best of all I knew in this world.
"Liliana!" Juli squealed while dancing her way into my room.
"Which of this outfit, do you think fits?" She asked me, showing me two outfits, one was held on her right hand while the other on her left hand.
I looked at the dresses, "How about you ask someone else, anyone I pick would obviously be what you don't want!" I said dryly, walking back to lie on my bed.
"Can you be happy for me for once, I get you are angry you don't have a boy..." I cut her off.
"One more word about the BF word and I'm throwing you out of my room," I threatened.
Juliana gasped, "I am going to un-sister you right this instance!" She blurted out.
I chuckled, "You have done that almost every time and where were we?" I asked her.
She frowned and walked out of my room in childish ways that made me laugh.
I wasn't going to ever trade her for anyone at anytime.
I didn't feel the urge to follow my mother to our neighbors house, not one bit. I wondered how the people were going to be like, were they going to be nice or not?, Were they actually good people because most people are nice and not good.
I waited patiently behind my mother as she rang the bell waiting for our neighbors to open the door.
Dennis was busy typing on his phone, he literally didn't want to be here, my mother forced the both of us, she was always firm with her words.
"Hey!" A nice voice from a beautiful lady that looked the same age as my mother spoke as soon as she opened the door.
"Hello," My mother greeted with a smile on her face and both Dennis and I followed suit.
"I'm guessing you are our new Neighbors right?" She asked and my mother nodded.
"Opse! Mind my manners, kindly come in," She ushered us inside her house.
I swiftly looked around with my eyes. The house was similar to ours but the difference was theirs how their living room was set.
Their house was tiled too unlike ours that had maple wood flooring.
"Welcome to our humble home," She greeted. My mother collected the fruit basket from my hand and handed it to her.
"Oh, you need not, but thank you," She muttered.
"My name is Margaret," The woman introduced.
My mother smiled, " My name is Lilian and this is my daughter, Liliana," my mother said and I greeted Margaret. "Hello ma," I greeted.
"This is Dennis," My mother introduced Dennis. "Hello ma," Dennis said.
"Lovely children, I'm coming let me call mine," She said to us.
"Ricardo! Rose! Come downstairs," She shouted.
There was no sign of anyone and she shouted again, "Ricardo! Rose!"a young girl with a red scarf on her head in a pyjamas came out. Whilst she walked downstairs I observed her, she looked like her mother, having the same face and exact height as her mother.
"Hello," she greeted when she saw the both of us and my mother. We all returned the gestures, I noticed she had freckles peppered on her nose making her look cute.
"Where is your brother?" Margaret asked the girl named Rose.
"I am here," an husky voice spoke.
Liliana's point of viewI yawned as I stretched my hand, sitting on my bed. I rubbed my eyes with my palm as is try to keep my eyes opened.New day, and weekend. I got off my bed as I made an attempt to open my window, I remembered who my neighbor was; Ricardo. The guy who I thought to be my friend but who disgraced me most. I frowned when I recalled last night scene."Hmph!" I walked away instead. I opened the door to my room as I made my way downstairs.I suddenly started kissing Juliana. If only she was ber, food would be ready and I'd get to feel livelihood.I walked into the kitchen to see Dennis eating. "Good morning," he greeted."Good morning," I replied. I walked over to the refrigerator to get something to eat."Oh no!" There's no more milk. I heaved a sigh."You look like a mess. Where did
Liliana's point of viewI did a 360 full turn as soon as he said his last statement. At first my heart felt as if, it was dragged out of his position but I was able to get myself as quick as possible.I was a teenager too and I never for once try to make everything in life about sexuality! I felt the urge to curse suddenly, something I wasn't used to but I bit my lips from doing such and going against my principles. The smirk on his face riled me up and suddenly I couldn't control my tongue anymore and before I realised, I spat out words I shouldn't have."Too bad I don't give head to lollipops lil' dad," I retorted with a scoff.I felt the urge to slap my mouth
Liliana's point of viewI have never gone out to visit someone at night talkless of going to places that was crowded.I fidgeted my fingers while sitting at the back of the taxi, I was nervous and I didn't know how the night would turn out like.Once I finally reached my destination, I paid the taxi man and got down. I contemplated if I should call Crystal and tell her I was around or if I should just walk closer first.Once I got passed the gate, I was in awe of the building in front of me; it wasn't just a building but a mansion. The whole place was crowded with people. It wasn't a house, it was a Mansion. Who could live here? I thought.I saw teenagers all over and the music could be heard out loud outside making me wonder if this was a legal party. The front yard was filled with drunk, horny tee
Liliana's point of viewI was starting to become dull! I knew I wasn't good with mathematics neither was I good with physics but at least I was an average student when it came to those subjects but now it was as if I was reading in Japanese and I couldn't phantom anything at all.I tore the shit of my book because I got the question wrong. I have been trying to solve this question for the past one hour but nothing seems to fit. This is so frustrating, I guess God decided to skip my brain when he was giving knowledge on mathematics.I placed my head on my bed trying to calm my brain and come up with
Liliana's point of viewI ran out of the stage with shame, disappointed about how I planned the entire day. I was all prepared for the speech. My mother came surprisingly and with pride I was so sure I'd win. I was going to make sure my mother was here and today she'd be proud of me and attend every of my competition.I was halfway though the debate when I saw my mother stood up from her seat, answering a phone call.I suddenly lost concentration as I watched her movement, forgetting my points. I heard mufflings from the crowd, all eyes on me.I could do it, I said to myself but who was I kidding? I couldn't. It was the end for me, I had lost it all.I ran out of the stage in shame, crying my eyes out. This was supposed to be the best for me. My mother didn't bother to check on
Liliana's point of viewI closed my eyes whilst walking alongside. The breeze from the sea sent goosebumps on my skin making me shiver slightly. The smell of the beach was sooting to me and I loved the feel of the beach sand on my feet."You are really enjoying the weather?" Ricardo voice brought me out of my reverie."Oh. I do, I like the beach, one of my favorite places to be on earth," I said to him."So, Lily, tell me, if you had to choose between leaving the country to stay with your loved ones when there is war or stay in the country and help with the situation, what would it be?" Ricardo asked. At first, I stopped and raised my brows at him, giving him a questioning look."Okay scratch that," he said and I chuckled."Seriously? Is that even a question?" I asked him."Now answ
