LOGINLiliana's point of view
My head turned to look at the voice that just spoke earlier and for a second it felt as if every went in slow motion.
My eyes twitched when I saw the person in front of me. A young boy at least two inch taller than Dennis, from his skin and a whole foot taller than mw, he looked extremely fine that i suddenly forgot how breathe, lol, just kidding but he was fine.
For a moment, my heart did ba dum. Clad in a white joggers and blue jersey long sleeve.
His hair was jelled into a style. He grinned when he saw us. "Liliana, meet my son Ric, short for Ricardo and Ricardo, meet Lilian and her children," Margaret introduced.
"Hello," the boy named Ric greeted us.
"Okay mom, I'm going out," Ric announced.
"Don't! Come back here this instance Ricardo," His mother said making him halt.
"Liliana is new to this place, showing her around wouldn't be bad, would it?" Margaret said to him.
Ric turned on his back looking at me and then at Dennis who was busy typing on his phone.
"Shall we?" He asked me. For a moment I was confused.
"Uhmm...we shall," I replied following him outside of the house.
"Uhm...What's your name again?" He asked me. I was taken aback by his statement. At last he wasn't rude or anything.
"Liliana," I replied.
"So I'm guessing you are seventeen, and a junior in high school, right?" He said but you do realize you are short for you age?" He said and i frowned.
What an effontry?! I scoffed. "What a nice way of starting a conversation..." I trailed off. "What's your name again?" I asked with the same remark he used earlier on me.
He turned to look at me and smirked, "Why won't my name stick to your memory after my mother said it, huh?" He asked. I saw a small glint on his face and then it dawn to me he wasn't intentionally rude, he was intentionally getting to me. He didn't mean harm and he was fooling around.
"And you are what? The president of America for your name to stick in my head so quick?" I mocked folding my arms.
"I am not the president of America but I tell you, I am that guy, every girl wants," He said.
Cocky much? "Bravo! That guy indeed who obviously doesn't have a fine face," I retorted.
He chuckled hard, "Are you trying to convince yourself so that you won't fall for me because from the look of it you are speaking as if you have?" He spat out with a smirk.
What the heck? How many minutee,-- no second have I known him? Fall for him my foot when he is not Shawn Mendes just in his Calvin Klein boxer.
"Aww....you are so fine, like so so fine. Too bad I don't even know your name and how come I haven't fallen on the floor yet?" I spat out sarcastically.
"I get it, girls like you act tough but within you, you wish I'd give you an attention, but it's fine, I have my class and taste." He retorted.
I scoffed and then I chuckled, "In your America dreams!" I lamented.
"Guess what?, Even if we use a scale to give you a percent, you are less than 50%!" I deadpanned.
He chuckled, "Really? On a scale of one to ten, how many do I get?" He asked.
"Hmmm," i placed my index finger on my jaw as if thinking, "You are less than five which automatically means you are four!" I spat out raising my brows.
He chuckled hard, "You are the first you know, I'm sure within you, you were dieing to give me an eleven but it's fine, whatever makes you sleep at night," He said.
"So, let's get over with this, my name is Ricardo Jackson, My friends call me Ric or Rj," He said stretching his hands forward for an handshake.
"Liliana Lim," I said simple and firmly.
"Liana? Or Liliana? Or Lily? So whats your nickname amongst these?" He asked me.
"Lily," I said to him.
"I'd call you Liana," He said and for a second I felt a jolt of electricity down my spine.
He took my hands and we sealed the deal. It was nice walking around the streets of New york with him. He was friendly and nice.
He even bought ice cream for the both of us when I craved for one.
We finally got back home. "Thanks so much for today," I said to him.
"It's no problem, it was nice showing you around and besides I hope to see you soon," He said to me.
"I pray you do," I muttered softly.
"Why?" He asked.
"That's because I prefer indoors than outdoors," I replied.
"Hmm, the almighty and handsome Ric had his ways, I'd get you out definitely!" He said as if so sure of himself.
I smirked, "Who told you, you are mighty and handsome?" I asked him as if daring him to speak.
He chuckled, for a second I stared at his face and there was no denial he was fine, but was I going to tell him that? Obviously no. He had long eye lashes that I envied and gray eyes were intriguing to watch.
"I'm going to ignore you that's because I don't argue with short people, they are obviously troublesome," he said and my jaw dropped.
"Close you mouth, you wouldn't want flies in them, would you?" He smirked and I felt the urge to wipe them away.
"See you lady Liana the smart mouth," He said leaving me to stare at him while he walked away.
It was nice having to talk to someone asides your family in a long while. I think I'm gonna do better here than I did in Florida. In Florida I had no friend, everyone literally hated me dude to my competitive spirit, like being competitive is a bad thing.
New york, let's get to know you.
Liliana's point of viewI yawned as I stretched my hand, sitting on my bed. I rubbed my eyes with my palm as is try to keep my eyes opened.New day, and weekend. I got off my bed as I made an attempt to open my window, I remembered who my neighbor was; Ricardo. The guy who I thought to be my friend but who disgraced me most. I frowned when I recalled last night scene."Hmph!" I walked away instead. I opened the door to my room as I made my way downstairs.I suddenly started kissing Juliana. If only she was ber, food would be ready and I'd get to feel livelihood.I walked into the kitchen to see Dennis eating. "Good morning," he greeted."Good morning," I replied. I walked over to the refrigerator to get something to eat."Oh no!" There's no more milk. I heaved a sigh."You look like a mess. Where did
Liliana's point of viewI did a 360 full turn as soon as he said his last statement. At first my heart felt as if, it was dragged out of his position but I was able to get myself as quick as possible.I was a teenager too and I never for once try to make everything in life about sexuality! I felt the urge to curse suddenly, something I wasn't used to but I bit my lips from doing such and going against my principles. The smirk on his face riled me up and suddenly I couldn't control my tongue anymore and before I realised, I spat out words I shouldn't have."Too bad I don't give head to lollipops lil' dad," I retorted with a scoff.I felt the urge to slap my mouth
Liliana's point of viewI have never gone out to visit someone at night talkless of going to places that was crowded.I fidgeted my fingers while sitting at the back of the taxi, I was nervous and I didn't know how the night would turn out like.Once I finally reached my destination, I paid the taxi man and got down. I contemplated if I should call Crystal and tell her I was around or if I should just walk closer first.Once I got passed the gate, I was in awe of the building in front of me; it wasn't just a building but a mansion. The whole place was crowded with people. It wasn't a house, it was a Mansion. Who could live here? I thought.I saw teenagers all over and the music could be heard out loud outside making me wonder if this was a legal party. The front yard was filled with drunk, horny tee
Liliana's point of viewI was starting to become dull! I knew I wasn't good with mathematics neither was I good with physics but at least I was an average student when it came to those subjects but now it was as if I was reading in Japanese and I couldn't phantom anything at all.I tore the shit of my book because I got the question wrong. I have been trying to solve this question for the past one hour but nothing seems to fit. This is so frustrating, I guess God decided to skip my brain when he was giving knowledge on mathematics.I placed my head on my bed trying to calm my brain and come up with
Liliana's point of viewI ran out of the stage with shame, disappointed about how I planned the entire day. I was all prepared for the speech. My mother came surprisingly and with pride I was so sure I'd win. I was going to make sure my mother was here and today she'd be proud of me and attend every of my competition.I was halfway though the debate when I saw my mother stood up from her seat, answering a phone call.I suddenly lost concentration as I watched her movement, forgetting my points. I heard mufflings from the crowd, all eyes on me.I could do it, I said to myself but who was I kidding? I couldn't. It was the end for me, I had lost it all.I ran out of the stage in shame, crying my eyes out. This was supposed to be the best for me. My mother didn't bother to check on
Liliana's point of viewI closed my eyes whilst walking alongside. The breeze from the sea sent goosebumps on my skin making me shiver slightly. The smell of the beach was sooting to me and I loved the feel of the beach sand on my feet."You are really enjoying the weather?" Ricardo voice brought me out of my reverie."Oh. I do, I like the beach, one of my favorite places to be on earth," I said to him."So, Lily, tell me, if you had to choose between leaving the country to stay with your loved ones when there is war or stay in the country and help with the situation, what would it be?" Ricardo asked. At first, I stopped and raised my brows at him, giving him a questioning look."Okay scratch that," he said and I chuckled."Seriously? Is that even a question?" I asked him."Now answ
