  • SteeleKizz, Inc   Chapter Eight

Jaxon & DestinyThe rain had finally stopped as they walked down the damp sidewalks stepping out onto the foggy streets. Destiny had pulled the camera out of the back of the van before they got in Jaxon’s ’65 jet black Shelby Mustang and headed to their destination. He still hadn’t told her what the phone call was about and she was becoming quite flustered. Looking over at him for the final time she decided to confront him about the call. “So are you finally going to tell me what we are going to be doing?” she asked hesitantly. He glimpsed over at her grinning evilly as he looked back at the road. “Wondered when you were going to ask me that question.” He looked again over at her quickly several times to see the pout upon her face from his smart aleck remark.

Jaxon & DestinySean had opened up the bar and was doing the normal inventory check. Liquor bottles restocked, check. Clean glassware put up, check. The stockroom cleaned and audited, check. He looked at his watch and took a long drawn out sigh. Some of the girls would be showing up for practice and to help get the club started for the night. He flipped out his phone to check it once more. He was surprised that Jaxon had called him asking about a job. He really didn't know what to make of it. Some of Jaxon’s story’s were quite far fetched and if he had left high school near the end of his junior year, was living the life of a king, he didn’t understand completely why he needed a job. However, Sean can remember many times where Jaxon had helped him out of binds, plus he needed a bouncer for the club. A few new rough customers was taking advantage of the girls causing good paying clients to quickly leave.Sean was sl

DestinyDestiny had rushed from school to the gas station to review who was working and might look for changing out their schedule so she could get more hours. She’d brought in her book bag so that she could start on her school work before her shift; as soon as she entered the building she found an empty stall and threw her bag onto the table with a loud thump. She’d leaned back and stretched in the seat. It was a long day at school and she was rather behind in her studies at this point.Thankfully, she had a few minutes before work to catch up on some of her homework. She would also finish up the reading as she fixed supper once she got home. That was another thing, talking to her boss about an advance in pay for food for them and Devon. She pulled out her homework and with a long sigh began on it. It’s not that the work itself was hard, but there was so much of it to do and as the year progressed on bec

JaxonHe sat looking from the passenger seat of the '69 mustang window, out at the passing trees and urban residency. Diminishing quickly into the towering buildings of apartments, businesses and department stores of the city he was soon to call home.He could still hear his mother's voice ech

The Guise SessionsReturning to his desk, he leaned back in the seat and recollected what he had read in her journal. He knew she was good at writing her deepest thoughts and ideas vividly describing anything and everything. That journal, there was something about it, he just looked back with his photographic memory, he knew that there was something that she was holding back. He knew it had to be her emotional pain she was holding onto. She just wanted to spill her guts out and let all the pain and torture that she had been going through out. There was no possible way that she could do it, especially since she didn’t know him that well. She still ceased to trust him.He looked at the clock on the wall realizing that thirty minutes had passed; it was time for him to call Sean and inform him of how the meeting went. It was the usual routine, Destiny would leave and he would wait to make sure that she had enough time to leave to call Sean and inform him of the progr

DestinyThe early morning sunlight had crept along the hardwood floor, had already tickled along the lightly colored blankets. Now, its soft golden light reached her still closed eyes, drawing her from her sleep and back to the world. Letting out a soft grumble, she turned away from the window, and feeling him next to her, she nuzzled into his bare chest, taking comfort in his familiar scent, his warmth. The grumbles subsided to contented murmurs as he shifted slightly and began to run his fingers through her hair. She settled in, willing to stay just like that indefinitely but then heard the burbling and co
