Chapter-2

At Night

Tara is doing some coding on her laptop. Well, it's a part of her assignment. She has to submit it the day after tomorrow.

It's already 1 a.m at night and there is no sleep in her eyes. She is totally lost in her work when she felt a presence behind her. She turned her head and found Nirbhaya. Tara asked her with a surprised tone, " Why didn't you sleep yet?"

Nirbhaya comes towards Tara and sits beside her. Then she said with a sweet voice holding Tara's hand, " Umm, actually, I can't sleep. I am not understanding how to do all the coding. Can you please do my assignment?

Tara has always considered Nirbhaya as her own sister and she can't refuse her. Tara said with a sigh, " Ok, I will do. But, if I do it, you will not learn anything. You should do it on your own. I can help you in this".

" Again her lectures," Nirbhaya said angrily inside her head.

Nirbhaya knows how to manipulate Tara. So, she said pouting her lips, " Fine, I will do it. You don't have to bother. You never considered me as your sister that's why you are not doing it"

" Come on, don't be angry. I will do your assignment. You just go and sleep" Tara said to Nirbhaya with a genuine smile being defeated.

Nirbhaya hugged Tara and thanked her but in reality, she just rolled her eyes. She doesn't give any shit about tara.

Tara is now again engrossed in her work when a call breaks her concentration. She fisted her hand and said angrily, " Heck!! Which moron is calling me right now!!"

She takes her phone in her hand and seeing the caller id she said with a mocking tone, " I knew it".

She received the call and said mockingly, "So, lover boy. Why are you calling me right now? Listen carefully, I am too busy right now so don't start again your tantrums, Luc".

Lucas said, " Yeah, I know. But tell me what's she doing? Is she ok?"

Tara rolled her eyes and said sarcastically, " I am now really pissed off seeing your one-sided love. Can't you just tell her!! If you can't express your love than I will tell her that you love her".

" No..no..no...don't do that. Fine, I will tell her on Valentine's day. This time I will not back off" Lucas said with a confident tone but he really doesn't know he will be able to confess his love or not.

Tara knows Lucas very well. So, she said mockingly, " Yeah, we will see. If you failed this time than trust me I will tell her everything".

" Yeah, fine then. What if  I really succeed?" Lucas said playfully.

Tara said rolling her eyes, " First, be successful. You get so nervous in front of her, I am doubting that will you be really able to propose her".

Lucas laughed and said, " Have some trust on this handsome man."

Tara laughed loudly and said, " Handsome!! Great joke. Tell me some more".

Tara and Lucas are now busy in their silly talking. They are mocking each other. Both are busy talking unknown to the fact that what's destiny is holding for them.

Next Day

Tara's p.o.v

I entered my aunt's cafe hurriedly and walk towards the manager's room. Well, this cafe is my aunt's but the maximum time I work here as manager. This cafe is a simple coffee shop. People come here, have their coffee and pass their time with their family and friends.

Whenever I saw any full family, my heart clenched with too much pain. Though my uncle and aunt take care of me. But still, I miss my father and mother too much. I lost them when I was young. Remembering them a tear roll down from my eyes.

My thoughts are cut hearing someone's yelling sound. I come out of my room and found a tall figure is scolding one of our staff. I frowned my forehead and walks towards the person. The person is back facing me. Only seeing his backside I can say that he is very muscular and very tall. His suit is fitting his body perfectly.

With the person, another man is standing who is very handsome and trying to stop that person's yelling.

I stand in front of the person and seeing him I become surprised. It's none other than Stefan King, Lucas's brother!!

What's he doing here!! A billionaire like him is in my cafe, it's really too weird for me. Lucas was right. His brother is very handsome but looks too much scary with those grey eyes. Though I am surprised, I tried to remain my expression neutral.

I asked politely, " Excuse me, sir. May I know what's the problem? I am the manager of this cafe".

" This moron has served me too much sugary coffee where I have clearly said that I want less sugary coffee," He said with too much anger pointing his one finger towards one of our staff who is now standing here lowering his head.

I said politely,"  I am really sorry from his side, sir. Please wait for some time, we will change the coffee immediately".

But, he is too much arrogant. He said mockingly looking towards that staff, " This low life has wasted my times. These low lying people can't do anything properly.

Hearing him, my blood started boiling with anger, I can't tolerate if anyone shows their aristocratic behaviour in front of me insulting another person.

" Sir, it was a mistake. So, don't make it an issue. You can't insult someone like that" I said with an irritated tone. This man is really a jerk. He is making this simple matter a big issue.

This time He looks at me from my head to toe and said smirking, " Another low life is here to defend".

Now, he has really crossed his limit. I can't tolerate it anymore. I yelled loudly, " Just get out of my cafe, you arrogant jerk. There are thousand of cafe out there. Just enter into one of that cafe and drink your less sugary coffee".

I emphasised the wordless sugary with a sarcastic tone. Bloody arrogant jerk!!

Hearing me, I can see his grey eyes are darkening. He is too much angry like he wants to eat me alive.  He said gritting his teeth, " Do you know with whom you are talking with this audacity?"

I said rolling my eyes, " Yes, I know with whom I am talking. I am talking with an arrogant asshole who has no manner how to talk with people".

Only looking at his face I can see he is now hell angry. His eyes and whole aura is looking scary but I am not afraid of him.

He said with a smug on his face, " Your mouth is very slippery huh!! I know how to stop your this slippery mouth".

Saying that he pulled me towards him grabbing my shoulders and tried to kiss me. And that's it. Before he could touch my lips with his lips  I kicked on his balls with my knee.

He holds his balls with a scream and looks at me with too much rage. I said giving a smirk towards him, " It's not Bollywood or Hollywood where you can kiss anyone and the person will not say anything. It's real life. You can't do anything always in your way." I can see his shocked face.

Hearing his screams his bodyguards enterd into my cafe with their guns. Seeing all this I am not a little bit afraid. I know that he is a mafia, so obviously he will have that many bodyguards with him. He is still groaning in pain. That another person is holding him. His guards have surrounded me from every side. I know they are waiting for their boss's order to kill me. I said looking towards him with too much anger, " you can't scare me showing your bodyguards and guns. Just get lost from here before I call the police".

He is still holding his balls when the other man started dragging him towards the door to leave the cafe. The other man told the guards to leave the cafe and they obliged.

Before leaving the cafe, this arrogant asshole yelled looking towards me, " you will regret".

I don't say anything further. I don't give any shit about his warning!! He is a mafia leader. So what!! I don't fear him. He is the one who started this fight intentionally.

Arrogant moron!! I should have kicked him more hard. How dare he tried to kiss me!! If his lips touched my lips than I might have lost my first kiss to an arrogant jerk like him.

Stefan's p.o.v

I am here in a small cafe to meet my friend and business partner, David. He is my childhood buddy. I told him to meet me at my office or any restaurant but he didn't agree with me.

Though he is a rich man he doesn't like lavish life. He always liked simple life and that's why he called me here. Though the cafe is not that big its simplicity is nice. I am being surprised by myself that I am admiring this little cafe.

We are now sitting in the cafe and talking about some business matters. My bodyguards are waiting for me outside. As a mafia, I have to always be cautious about my safety.

We have already given the order.

After some time a waiter comes here with our coffee and served us. Everything was still fine until I take a sip from the coffee.

Taking just one sip from the coffee I spilt the coffee in the ground. Is it coffee or juice!! The coffee is too much sweet!!

I said angrily standing up from my seat, " what the hell is this!!"

Hearing my loud voice, The waiter comes running and asked with an afraid tone, " what happened, sir?

I look towards him with full rage and said, " I have told you to not put too much sugar in my coffee. Then why this coffee is too much sugary"

The waiter is now looking afraid and started apologising. But, my mood is already ruined. If I lose my control in my anger than it's really hard to calm down me.

I am scolding the staff when I heard a sweet girly voice. The voice asked politely, " Excuse me, sir.May I know what's the problem. I am the manager of this cafe".

I look towards her and mesmerised by her beauty. She has light brown eyes with pink plump lips. Her oval shape face is looking too cute. She is wearing jeans with a black shirt and looking professional. She is not looking native. Looking at her features I can say that she is from Asia and most probably from the Indian continent.

I stopped ogling on her and told her everything about the coffee and she apologised. But my anger is still inside of me. In my anger, I insulted the staff.

I lose my full control when she defends that mere waiter. So, I insulted her also.

And next moment her sugary timid voice is nowhere to be found and she started insulting me calling me names and also told me to leave her cafe directly.

" How dare she insults me!! Don't she fear death? If I want, then I can kill her right now. But looking at her pink lips something evil came to my mind. I know how to stop her this mouth.

So, without thinking anything further. I tried to kiss her but giving me too much shock she kicked on my balls and also lectured me about reality.

I cried out in pain holding my balls. My guards immediately entered the cafe and surrounded the cafe. But, to my utter surprise, she isn't even afraid seeing my guards and guns. She is still looking at me angrily.

For the first time in my life, I found a girl who isn't affected by my looks and also not afraid of me. She told me that I can't scare her showing my power. What's this girl made off!!

If I still stand here any more time than I will surely kill her. Moreover, David is already dragging me to leave this cafe. Before leaving I warned her but still, she doesn't give any scared reaction. Is she robot!!

Right now, I am now sitting in my car with David and cursing the girl. I said punching on the steering, " Bloody bitch!! How dare she talk like that!! I will make her regret her birth."

David said resting his hand on my shoulder, " Calm down, man. Forget it."

" Forget it!! She insulted me and kicked on my balls!!" I yelled angrily.

" I admit that it was their fault but your reaction was too much for a mere matter," David said with a chuckle.

Now my friend is taking her side. This arrogant bitch!!!

I said with a boring tone, " Now, you are taking her side. Really!! Are you my friend or her friend!!!

My mood is already ruined and I am snapping with David when my phone started ringing. I saw the caller id and it's from my PA Daniel.

I receive the call and hearing his words I throw the phone on the backseat of my car. David asked me being a little confused, " What happened?"

" That bastard black dragon has hacked the security system of my Texas branch and stole all the money" I replied clenching my jaw.
