CHAPTER TEN [ R E V E L A T I O N ]

IT WAS nine o'clock in the evening when Mr. Yamade arrived. Twelve immediately greeted the old man upon seeing him. He felt very comfortable with him and same goes with the old man. Instead of talking about business first, they talked about their personal lives. It seems that they have met each other before and have just met so they are making the most of the time. The joy on the face of the old man could not be contained when Twelve made him laugh.

After a while, Mr. Yamade invited him to dinner. He also suggested Twelve to spend the rest of the night in the mansion. That was favorable with Twelve since he he has not settled his temporary residence because he went straight to Mr. Yamade’s mansion.

He was walking towards the dining area when he noticed Lisa approaching. "Hi, Lisa," Twelve greeted her with a smirk. Lisa's lips twitched as her cheeks flushed because of embarassment. His greetings have caught people’s attention because he made it a little louder. She couldn’t understand his trip. It seemed like he meant it for everyone to hear. Twelve just smiled at everyone.

Lisa was silent during the whole meal as the conversation continued to be about business. Twelve have always been initiating the talk. He seems so familiar with it.

"You don't seem to be eating too much, Lisa. Is there something bothering you?" Haise asked, worried about the girl.

"Huh? Ahh. . . it’s n-nothing. It's just like that. I-I'm still full.”

"Oh, no, that's not it. You have to eat a lot, baby. Here, take some of this," Haise continued to say to the girl as she reached for her dish.

He gave a friendly smile to the young man. Suddenly, Twelve caught everyone’s attention. He slowly wiped his lips with a table napkin and then slowly stands up. Lisa met his gaze but she couldn’t read what he’s thinking.

"Excuse me, I’ll go to my room now, Mr. Yamade," Twelve said dryly.

Even the old man noticed the tension at the moment. Mr. Mitsuko immediately turned to Twelve but he’s already walking away. The rest did not do anything about it. Lisa on the other hand has lost her appetite so she stopped eating completely. Haise, meanwhile, just kept talking to his uncle.

Twelve was lying on his bed when someone knocked on his door. He forced himself to get up even if he don’t want to. He saw one of the assistants as he opens the door. Mr. Yamade was calling him according to the person.

Twelve immediately fixed himself before leaving the room. He quickly closed the door and secretly glanced at the room of Lisa which he have passed going to the study room. A smile broke Twelve's lips before continuing on his way. The young man became cheerful at last.

TWELVE AND Mr. Yamade are in the middle of their conversation when someone knocked. It was Yui. She was looking at her differently as he goes to Mr. Yamade.

"Brother, take your medicine first." He then gave Mitsuko a cup of medicine. When the old man was finished, Yui went out already.

Twelve simply watched. He couldn't help but doubt her. He was just looking at the door when Mr. Yamade noticed him. Twelve switched his focus when the old man got his attention.

"You see, Twelve, even if my sister’s tongue is sharp, she has sweetness in her too." He coughed a little. "Okay, back to topic. Is it true that there was a foul play in my daughter's accident with his family?"

"Yes, sir," he answered promptly. He even showed his gathered evidence.

From Twelve's investigation, he found out that someone had paid the authorities for the case to be dismissed and to cover up the real culprit. The old man was greatly disturbed with what he found out.

"They didn't lose the brakes on their car. It was intentionally cut," said Twelve. He could see the sweating of the old man as if he had difficulty in breathing. "Are you all right, sir?"

"I-I'm okay," said the old man, stammering. “Do you know who the culprit is?”

Twelve looked at him first, thinking how to say what he found out. But eventually, he restrained himself.

"As of now, I cannot give a name because there is insufficient evidence, sir. I'll update you immediately when it's confirmed."

"Okay, thank you very much and I didn't regret taking you. You're really good," Mitsuko complimented. “You could go back to your room."

The elder extended his hand to shake the young man’s hand. Twelve got up to reach for his hand. Twelve went out of the room after some conversation with Mr. Yamade.

WHILE YUI was on her dark room, she is staring at nowhere as she continues to sip wine. Suddenly, the lady felt longing which she haven’t experienced for a long time. She dialed on her phone then heard the ring on the other line.

"Is everything okay? What’s the update regarding what I asked you to look for?" she asked the person from the other line. A smile broke her lip but was soon gone followed by the clenching of her fist.

"I didn't think you’re still alive!" Yui said harshly, gritting her teeth in anger. "I should have killed you before so I wouldn't be in trouble right now!"

She sipped from the wine and gazed out the window, watching the sunset. It was not long before she rose from the seat. She walked to the location of the files and quickly released documents. She remembered twenty-three years ago. Gradually, the lady's mind is pulled back into the past.

She opened the hood of the car then began cut the wires which connects to the car brake. She smiled wickedly then quickly closed the hood and returned to the mansion. As she enters the room, she found her son Haise playing with Arisa's son. Yui approached the two.

“Toji, where are your parents? I thought you are going home?” she asked, raising her voice.

Toji looked at her smiling. Suddenly, the lady's eyes was tamed because his smile was filled with heat as if by fire. Yui was filled with random emotions at that moment. Her teeth clenched at the thought that he would be the heir to his brother now.

"They were with Grandpa, talking about something," he answered cheerfully.

Although he was only four years old, it was clear that the child could speak fluently which implies a flourishing intelect.

Yui just smiled. After a while, Arisa and Jiro finally came out of the study room. The couple even greeted her.

As they go into their car, she looked intently at them. His son, Haise, was next to her until they lost sight of Arisa's car. Yui smiled as she knew that Arisa would be out of her way later. She could not allow them to inherit Yamade’s family property.

She turned over the boy who had just been staring down the road where Arisa's family had been traveling.

"Let's go inside, Haise," Yui said.

When they got inside, he left the child to Mariko first.

“Where are you going Ma'am Yui?” the butler asked.

Yui looked at her. "I forgot to get something in town."

She immediately came out and didn’t even wait for an answer. She went to the garage with quick steps. She does not want to waste time. She will make sure her plans will be fulfilled.

She started traveling knowing she could catch her niece’s car if she would drive faster. And she was right because she could see their car from a distance. She slowed down her car in so there is a little distance and they would not notice that she is following them. Yui is even singing, excited about what is about to happen.

Until she saw how the car lost control which is a sign that the a tragedy that will occur.

Her eyes flickered and a smile broke Yui's lips as she saw the car crash into the road barrier that caused it to roll over. A rustling of the car's steel body hitting the pavement that coincided with the cries of the occupants can also be heard at that moment. It was like music to Yui's ears.

He parked her car aside. She immediately jumped out of the car and walked to the wrecked car like nothing has happened. Only the sound from her stilleto shoes could be heard. Basing from the car’s state, she was sure no one would survive.

She was about to leave because someone might see her when she heard a moan from the inside. She turned quickly and reached for the back seat. When she opened the door, she was startled to see Toji moving. She felt frustrated but immediately calmed herself down. She slowly removed the boy from the car. She picked him up and put him in her back seat. She has to clean the car with Toji's blood on the carwash later.

She turned the vehicle over and immediately left the scene. She was biting her lips as she drove off holding the steering wheel tightly. She was really nervous. She wondered how she would get rid of the boy. Suddenly, an idea flashed in her mind. Even her eyes seemed to dance with pleasure. She grabbed her cellphone in her pocket and called her husband.

"Hon, I have a favor to ask," she began. Then she told him about what have happened. It wasn't long before his husband spoke on the other line. But, Yui still persists in convincing him to agree with her plans. "I know that you like what happened too. It's for Haise's sake, hon," Yui added. Then she heard the husband's soft sigh.

“Okay, fine, what favor?” he asked.

Yui laments the fact that her husband has finally agreed with the plan. "So, its a deal?" she confirmed.

"Yeah."

She admitted the child to a hospital. Toji stayed in the hospital for a week before being discharged. She hired someone to take care of him temporarily while waiting for the child's documents. She was glad that everything went according to her plan especially that the child has lost his memory. Even if the child survived, she would make sure that his life would be hell. Soon enough, the one to get Toji already came.

Five years has quickly passed…

Yui found out that the operation of institution who got Toji was stopped and demolished. According to this, no one survived, except for one girl. The children did not seem to cope up with the drugs, so they had negative side effects that caused their deaths.

For Yui this is great news for her and her son, Haise.

But...

This news came with the death of his husband. She knew that his husband is a member of the institution and all who knows about the institution were killed.

"It's okay. What’s important is for our son to have the best future."

SHE TOOK an envelope from a drawer in which information about the investigation she asked someone was found.

"Toji, destiny is really playful. Soon, you will be with Arisa and Jiro. I'll make sure you’ll be with your loved ones. Toji. . . Toji, you have come back wrong!" Yui exclaimed, before consuming the wine.

LISA WOKE up from her bed when she felt the cold breeze on her skin. She moaned before getting up completely. She noticed her window was open. She even narrowed her eyes upon realizing it was really open because as she remember it right, she had locked it earlier before she was finally in bed.

She immediately stood up to close it. Lisa felt the cold breeze coming from outside. It was different from the city air. She hugged herself in no time.

As she closed the window, she was suddenly shocked when someone grabbed her waist. She almost screamed and lost her senses.

As she looked behind her, she saw that it was Twelve. Even in the darkness of the room, she could still see the young man because the moon covered with clouds finally appeared in the dark sky. The light of its beam illuminated the place. She was nervous because she was sure something was going to happen again. She noticed that he was holding back a laughter.

"You look so pretty. Lisa."

She frowned because he was acting foolish again. Twelve suddenly walked away from her and gently seated on her bed. Amusement was on her eyes.

"What do you need, Twelve? You're disturbing my sleep."

She wanted to be annoyed with him but she was betrayed by her own feelings. From the bottom of her heart, she was so happy that he went to her room even though it seemed like the place they were in was not right. She missed him so much but it was just not the case for them being together in the same room and in the middle of the night.

"Do you have something to say and you even need to go through the window just to be here? Maybe you could tell that to me tomorrow."

He smiled playfully. "I can't sleep. I want to sleep by your side. Come here. I’m sleepy."

He said moaning while lying flat on her bed. Lisa's eyes widened because of what he did. She remained standing. She couldn’t lie next to Twelve. They were on somebody’s house. She still has respect for the owner.

She saw him, eyes already closed. He seemed to be fast asleep. She sat next to the young man, staring blankly at his face. Suddenly, he opened his eyes, then the corner of her lip rose. He pulled himself up to met her gaze.

Twelve looked up at her while touching her face. She was drawn to the warmth of his hand that was streaming down her face.

"Can I kiss you?" Twelve asked.

The girl nodded as she gave permission She kept her eyes closed as she felt his lips touched her lips. She thought it would not last but the kiss deepened and became more searching for Twelve's lips. He seemed longing for her so much.

She just felt the young man’s hands under her clothes. He touched her with love and care. Every touch of his hands give her pleasure. She could not help but cry out for the glory she’s feeling. She felt the young man's lips fall on her neck. From there, Twelve slowly rubbed her lips as he slowly touched Lisa's chest.

A moan escaped her lips as Twelve finally put her nipple into his warm mouth. She quickly covered her mouth with her left hand to prevent a loud moan from coming out of his mouth.

"Oh, Twelve. . ." she whispered the young man's name.

He stopped for a moment as he made his blessing on Lisa's two mountains. Lisa immediately closed her eyes in pleasure. She immediately met Twelve's lips when he kissed her again. Unlike the first time they kissed her, it has become more aggressive now. Twelve utter Lisa’s name in between his kisses that sounds like music to her ears.

"Lisa, oh, Lisa! I love you so much!"

Lisa couldn't help but be glad. Her heart seemed to explode with joy. Suddenly, she jest felt his hand on her undergarment. She moaned softly as the young man rubbed her glory with his fingers. She seemed to be going crazy and was going to be out of breath because of the overwhelming sensation. Until he could no longer handle the feelings. She buried her face to the young man's chest as he felt a liquid explode on the lower part of her body.

Lisa was still like dreaming when she met Twelve’s eyes. He looked at her lovingly.

"Please, Lisa. . ."

She continued to nod in agreement.

Again, a ritual of love occurred between Twelve and Lisa . . . being witnessed by the full moon from the dark sky.

DESPITE THE tiredness after the moment they shared, happiness cannot be denied for the both of them. Twelve hugged her even tighter.

"I'll just love you till the end, Lisa," Twelve said to the young woman who remains staring at him. In her eyes, there was much pleasure and love for him.

"Yes, Twelve. The day I met you, that's the day I learned to live with hope. I love you the most," Lisa said passionately, lightly tending her head to the boy's chest. He heard the loud heartbeat of Twelve.

They fell asleep like that with a smile on their lips . . .

TWELVE IS already wearing his clothes when Lisa woke up.

“Are you going back to your room?” Lisa asked.

"Yes, I do not want to come back yet but I have to finish something."

"It's still dark," Lisa said frantically.

He sat beside her with a smile on his lips.

"Why? Do you miss me already?" he said with so much pride.

"No!" Lisa threw her pillow at Twelve. The young man just laughed.

"Oh, you can lie down first and I'll go back to my room." He kissed her first on the lips before finally walking away to step out. Suddenly, Lisa took him by the hand so that she could stop him from taking a step. Twelve turned, smiling at her.

"Why? Did you miss me, Lisa? Confess it!" He hugged Lisa and started tickling her. She’s stopping him but he’s unstoppable.

"Twelve!" she cried.

But the young man just didn't listen. "I will not stop until you admit it," the young man continued.

Suddenly she embraced him. Twelve stopped tickling her then. "You know, Twelve, if something bothers you, don't hesitate to tell me. I feel you have a problem. Even if you smile, I feel like there’s something going on. . ." Lisa said as she hugged the young man.

Twelve sighed. She looked at the girl then at another direction before deciding to speak.

"I never would have said that. . ." He looked at her again. "I planned to say this after I finish this job with Mr. Yamade. But you have the right to know."

Lisa smiled back. Even the young man gradually smiled.

"Lisa. . . I can remember everything."

Shock was immediately registered on the girl's face until it was replaced with worry. Lisa's tears began to flow from her eyes. Twelve immediately wiped her tears, eventually regretting his confession.

"So, that explains why sometimes I doubt about you regaining your memory.” Suddenly he held Twelve’s hands. “Tell me the truth. Does it still hurt your head?” Lisa asked Twelve as she continued to sob. Twelve avoided her gaze.

"Sometimes. . . but don't worry. The doctor said it's just a matter of regaining my memory."

"Well, what if not? What if you had your illness back!"

Twelve bit his lips. Even he, is hurting too. Especially because he could see how much it hurts Lisa. Suddenly, he hugged her. He couldn't even see Lisa crying. His heart was breaking.

He doesn't want to hurt her in the end but he can't afford to be away with her as long as he has time. He just wants to be with her until the end. He closed his eyes tightly as the sadness invaded him.
