Tony woke with a start as his phone blasted 'Welcome to the Family' by Avenged Sevenfold, the text and call ringtone he had set for Dillon. He had forgotten to turn the volume down the night before, so his phone didn't distract him from much needed sleep. Tony only used his Marvel alarm clock to wake up. No way he could sleep through that alarm, it was louder than anything else in their quadrant of the galaxy. Speak of the devil! Now Tony's alarm clock started to explosively ring, which signaled that it was five in the morning.
With a groan he rolled over and rubbed his face as he shut off the horrendous racket the alarm made. He had to control himself so he didn't smash the thing out of sheer irritation. How had he forgotten to turn off both alarms? There went his wish to sleep in that weekend. As he rolled over to the other nightstand to shut his stupid phone off, he remembered something. Today was Tony's twenty-second birthday. Tony didn't care much about his birthday really. It was just the day someone was born. With how he was raised, he didn't have true birthdays. Two kids without parents never got birthdays. Although, his brother Ethan had done his utmost to try and make them special when he could.
When he was younger, Ethan would try and make each birthday as special as he could. Options for celebration were few in an orphanage, or in a foster home with abusive assholes. For example, Tony's tenth birthday. Ethan had worked hard for a couple months beforehand for a paper route to make money so he could do something for him. He even sold some of his own things, which was a sacrifice since they didn't own much. That birthday, Ethan had finally earned enough money to buy him a portable Playstation so he could have something of his own. Tony had been upset, since the other kids picked on him because he didn't have a console.
Of course, he knew it didn't really matter, since they didn't stay at one school for too long usually. Still though, Ethan had worked and sacrificed to get it for him and even though it wasn't a Playstation 2, Tony was happy as a clam. His brother got him that Playstation, and he loved it dearly for many years, until one of the foster parents they stayed with threw it into a wall. Tony didn't care about that, he was just happy he had the memories. What he felt sad over was that Ethan had worked hard to get it for him, but he told Tony not to worry about it. 'As long as we're safe now, we'll be able to make up for all our misfortunes later. No tears, Ant. Chin up!'
Tony pulled himself out of his head and picked up his phone. Dillon was never up that early, even on his last birthday. which he guessed was natural for teenagers. He reached over and grabbed his phone as he threw the charger somewhere on the floor. One would think he wouldn't throw his chargers anymore since he went through several a month but alas, it was ingrained habit. After he dismissed the Avenged Sevenfold guitar solo, he entered his pin number to unlock it. There he saw he had three texts from Dillon and he opened up the chat feed to read them
Dillon 4:58 AM: YOOOOOO HAPPY FUCKING BIRTHDAY YA SOB!!! :))) Feel like a grandpa yet?
5:04 AM: Oh yeah, I'll be over later, probably between 10 to 12? Not quite sure. Going out to breakfast with people.
5:09 AM: You want anything? Iz yo bday so my treat! Whatever you want, bruhh
Grandpa jokes already? He rolled his eyes and smiled slightly. It was so awesome of Dillon to do anything for him for his birthday. He didn't want to do anything big or out of the ordinary though. It was his custom to just count it as another year under his belt. The best birthday for him was no birthday. Regardless, Dillon loved to do stuff for him, even just little things to make him happy. Tony had been upfront on his last birthday about the subject and he seemed to have understood. However, he didn't have the heart to tell the kid to pretend it wasn't his birthday for his birthday each year. The joy Dillon got from it, and how he just wanted to make him crack a smile, meant too much to him and he couldn't take that away totally. Tony thought for a moment then started to type his reply.
Tony: 5:12 AM: Haha thanks dude it means a lot. And yes, i have been feeling rather crotchety lately.(fuck you lol)
5:14 AM: Yeah bro thats fine. No rush no rush. Enjoy! Tell your tell the crew i said hey. In terms of if i want something hmmm.... wanna pick me up a couple sausage egg n cheese McMuffins? Oh! And a pancake one! Since i have been on this planet for twenty-two years to the day, i also DEMAND a strawberry shake bitch!
While he may not have liked birthdays, that didn't mean he couldn't cash in a little bit, did it? It wasn't super frequently that the shitty brat decided to treat, which is understandable. Dillon didn't make a lot as a caterer at his tech school, since it was only part-time and wasn't consistent from week to week. Regardless, Tony liked to give him shit for it, just for fun. At the end of the day though, he would treat the kid to the world if he could. Without a doubt, he deserved it.
While he wanted no celebration or attention, he might as well milk what he could out of it. It came every year anyway. Tony's heart rate picked up a little as he thought about how he would get to use his man later. Slow and sensual, or passionate and rough? In the time between their birthdays, Dillon had improved exponentially in his performance. He didn't even need prep anymore if it wasn't more than a day in between. Just because he had gotten better didn't mean that Tony was rough with him. Any time they made full on love, they took it slow and steady. Naturally, he made it forceful enough for Dillon to feel it, otherwise he'd be goaded to go harder and faster.
Would he even want Dillon on his back? Tony kind of wanted him to kneel in his spot. Either way, he would enjoy the sight of Dillon on his back or his knees. So long as he was flushed and had that blue fire in his eyes that struck his heart. So long as he made Tony blush while his palms would start to sweat. Just the mental image of Dillon on his knees as he looked up at him with that warm smile had him excited, but it also made his heart pound and his face heat up. When they were intimate, Tony could feel things pass between them unspoken that he never felt before. His unfaithfulness was like a mental reboot and it refocused his gaze on Dillon completely. It had been a while since he'd even watched porn, let alone been tempted to cheat again.
Even months later, Tony found he still had those weird emotions, that out-of-the-blue crush he had developed for Dillon. Ever since Dillon forgave him for his transgressions and gave him another chance, he'd fallen even harder for him. He still hadn't shared it, largely because he was embarrassed and not good at that shit, but also because it felt good. Thankfully, they were only positive emotions, even though he himself didn't know entirely his crush had started. Tony picked up his phone and typed out another message.
Tony 5:22 AM: Oh yeah. Since it's my birthday i have orders.
Dillon 5:25 AM: Got it, Pops. Your demand has been heeded.
5:26 AM: Yes Sir. I await your command.
Tony 5:32 AM: When you get here, you will put your insulin away and everything else down. You will go directly to the bedroom, strip, get out the brace, in your spot, and kneel. You will NOT SPEAK do you understand me? Will you be able to handle it i wonder? We shall see. Get ready.
After he hit send, he threw his phone down on the bed. He figured he had some time to kill and he had to quell his need, so he went out to the kitchen to get a start to his day. After he turned the coffee maker on, he had to get his phone he'd forgotten in the bedroom so he could finish a couple articles on pigments used in different electrostatic paints. Basically scientific stuff most people would be bored with after a couple minutes. It was important for someone with a job like his to be up to date on current information, products, and procedures.
Tony had always been fascinated with that kind of thing though. Not only was he good with his hands, but he also liked to figure out how things worked. What made them tick? From the start, Tony was quite the inquisitive child and teenager. That was how he fell in love with the auto industry in the first place. He got to solve puzzles and do projects all day, as well as see how so many things worked. Tony loved his job. To him, it was like playtime all the time, especially as of recently when he narrowed his focus to classic vehicles.
For several moments, there was naught but silence as Dillon thought things through. Tony could almost make out the gears as they turned in his adorable head. It was stressful to wait for his reaction. He prayed the kid would be able to forgive him for his lies. Hopefully, if he gave the truth now, he would still be able to retain some of his trust. Not that he deserved it. The amount of lies Tony had told, either by omission or directly, troubled him. He couldn't allow himself to become a liar. If he did, it would slowly poison and erode at their bond until there was nothing left. A future without Dillon in it wasn't a future.
Though they were completely spent and still out of breath, they looked at one another with big, goofy smiles. It had been a rough morning, but like with any other hurdle that appeared between them, they cleared it without incident. Perhaps it would be a good birthday after all. Dillon had off from his tech school, which he usually had to attend Tuesday through Saturd
As usual, Dillon handled the prep well. Whenever they were intimate in the traditional sense, they always wanted to see each other so Dillon laid on his back. Once the prep was done, Tony gently guided his legs outward and lined himself up with his entrance. At that angle, he leaned over Dillon and used his arms to prop himself up and he leaned further down to kiss him tenderly. It soon deepened and eventually, they were both impatient enough to separate so Tony could guide himself in. Of course, he always made sure to be incredibly light of touch in the beginning, even if they built up to quick and rough once Dillon adjusted. That time though, Tony had decided to take the gentleman's route and love him passionately.
About an hour later, Tony's ears perked up when he heard the deadbolt disengage as Dillon turned his key. It was show time! As the door opened, he fixed a scowl on his face and crossed his arms. The plan was to act as angry and hurt as he could. While he was genuinely angry and hurt, it had reduced significantly after he satisfied his stomach. He wanted to get it thr
Tony 9:49 AM: SO IT DID HAPPEN! Dillon you KNEW you didn't have to tell me that shit went down. I see right through you. You wanted this
After he was in and the hostess seated him, he waited until the server came around. It was a small diner, the outside paneled in steel and chrome with blue accents. The inside was actually quite cozy. A twelve seater breakfast counter was across from the entrance. There were two rows of ten grey formica tables with nice blue vinyl booths on the left hand side and on the right were a dozen or so four seater square tables with metal and blue vinyl chairs. The kitchen was behind the breakfast counter, along with a nicely stocked bar. Tony, Dillon, and a lot of the guys from the shop were on a first name basis with most of the chefs and wait staff since they went there a lot. The owner of the diner was one of Tony's clients, too. The design of the building might be
