Home sweet home

Before I get into the story I wanna say thanks to the persons who has been reading my chapters from the start to this chapter..... And thanks to those who just read apart of my chapters I still appreciate y'll.....Enjoy!!!!!!!!✌✌✌✌✌✌

After the questioning at the station, i decided that it would be best if i went home with my aunt in her personal car. Just in case the person that was following me earlier tried to hurt me.

(After all prevention is better than cure right???).

Officer Scott stated that it would be best if I leaved the car at the station for a couple weeks. At first I disagreed but then my mum talked me into agreeing.

Its for my own good anyways, I have other cars but this was a gift from my dad and I cherish it.

After driving for half an hour in the passenger seat in my moms black audi with officer Bryan behind us like officer Scott mentioned we finally reached home.

"Mom I know I don't say this much but I love and I appreciate everything you've done for me...... your always here when I need you, you treat me like am your biological daughter, your my only real family and that makes me happy...... And like you said, once you have life then there's hope and you give me hope, Charlie said with a genuine smile." 

"Aww sweety am happy you feel that way, I know am gonna disappoint you sometimes but what matters the most is that I'll always be here..... And you have to understand that the past can hurt but the way I see it you can either run from it or learn from it."

I got out of the car and literally run to the front door, all I want right now is a shower, a nap and of course music to lighten the mood.

As soon as I reached my the top of the stairs I slowly opened my room door and sighed as i  crunched down to sit down on my soft multicoloured mat.

I was so deep in my thoughts that I didn't notice that my window was opened and my curtain flying vigorously.

With confusion I strode over to my bed to take a sit but froze as I saw a paper crumbled together..... I quickly got off the bed and looked under it, but no one was there...... I then paced to my window and looked below and there I saw a ladder and foot prints in the back yard.

I began to panicked but then I remembered that officer Scott gave me his card to call him if I had any new information.

With shaky hands I pulled my phone out of my pocket and dialed officer Scott number.

On.the first ring he answered.....

"He was here,charlie spoke up alarmingly."

"Who was where, and whom am I speaking to, Mr Scott responded curiously."

"Charlie brown, the guy who was trailing me was in my room, Charlie said panicked."

"Isn't Bryan there with you, what do you mean he came in your room, Mr Scott asked."

"Few minutes ago I came into my room and noticed that my window was opened and a crumbled paper on my bed and footprints in the back yard, Charlie spoke up nervous."

"I see, did you opened the paper miss brown, I'll come over to your house and bring a FBI with me so that she can search for anything that can help us to find out who this person is and what he wants before he can hurt you okay, Mr Scott responded back."

"No I didn't open the paper but if you want i can read it to u,Charlie stated."

"Go ahead, Mr Scott said eagerly."

                 The letter

You might be scared, but I don't care😤😤😤

You might think this is a joke, but this one can surely give you a stroke😯😯😯

As I read those words my heart beat pumped rapidly in my chest what could I do to deserve all this I asked myself inwardly..............

"Charlie if we are to catch this guy your gonna have to get tougher and you can't let him see your weak side ....you have to show him that whatever comes your way you can manage it, Mr Scott spoke up comfortingly."

"Ahh thanks am gonna have to take some classes for boxing to be able to defend myself, Charlie spoke up back."

"That would be good I'll be over in a few minutes,tell your mom I'll be over but don't explain what happen as yet I wanna do it myself okay, Mr Scott spoke up softly."

"Okay,Charlie replied back before hanging up."

After the call I went straight into my bathroom with fresh clothes in my hands right now i don't care what I put on I swear my mood changed from bring happy to being sad.... Everytime I try to be happy there's always someone or something that comes between my happiness.........

                    Ryan POV

I was surprise and a little disappointed that Charlie didn't come to school....... Its white odd if you ask me I mean who comes on the first day and not come on the second day....... I think somethings up but I don't know what. They say not to judge a book by its cover but this one needs judging................. When I reached home I saw a police vehicle parked in Charlie's yard I don't understand did someone died or was Charlie kidnapped?????????

I ran up my stairs and into my room to see if I could find answers.... When I reached my room I saw Charlie on her phone with a sad expression on her face and surprisingly it hurt my feelings to the point where my heart burned......... There's so much to this girl and am gonna find out what's it about her that's pulling me towards her..... And I don't care if am gonna find out the easy or the hard way. 

       The end if Ryan's POV

After my hot bathe i walked towards my bed and pulled my soft blanket over my small figure before drifting off to my sleep.

I walked up from a night mare where someone grabbed me and and rapped me....... It was a devastating sight...... I screamed until my aunt rushed in my room.

"Honey are you okay, Rebecca asked softly."

"I had a nightmare can you sleep with me tonight mum,Charlie pleaded."

"Sure hun,rebecca responded."

"How did it go with officer Scott,Charlie questioned curiously."

"Yea he told me what happened earlier am so sorry hun, but lets discuss what will be put in place as a result as of tomorrow okay."

"Okay, good night mum, Charlie spoke up sleepily."

"Night sweety, Rebecca responded before falling a sleep while hugging Charlie.
