Carter's(Charlie's twin brother) POV.
It was devastated when my father died plus losing my twin sister at the same time. I know its wrong for me to blame charlie for William's death but what would you do in a situation like mine, I mean she's the one who made him left the house........
There's a part of me that wants to ignore her and there's that part of me that wants to comfort her but instead of doing the second option I went for the first one.
On the day William died my mom insist that Charlie go live with her sister the night she fell unconscious.
I was against it because I knew it would tear her apart since she was closer to dad than i was, and I know that she'll blame herself for his death, and for losing the rest of her family all at the same time.......
She might hide her emotions well but I know she won't be able to hide this one,it's just too much for her to handle.
What break my heart the most is that when I woke up the other morning the day after my dad died I went into Charlie's room but was surprise she wasn't in bed, which was strange because she isn't a morning person so she wouldn't wake up so early especially on a weekend.
went down the stairs for a explanation from my mom only to see a smirk plastered on her face.
I asked her where Charlie was, I was shock when I heard her say she packed her clothes in a suit case and wrote her a letter saying she isn't her mom and I wasn't her twin anymore, and that she must get out of her house as soon as she read the letter.
I mean what kind of mother blames a 16 year old girl for her husbands death and not only that kick her out.
I felt a unbearable pain in my chest from all of this family drama and it was sad that i couldn't do anything about it. All I have to do is to just watch as the family brake apart....
I couldn't call or text Charlie because its not like she would respond, no one in her position would so am gonna just give her space.
And I won't be seeing her either because I suppose my aunt Rebecca will make her switch school in order to avoid questions and most importantly to avoid me.
But that's not stopping me from watching her from a distance and take pictures of her and watch her sleep most times ( lol u might think am creepy but am not 😋). I want her to be safe at all times, she might think I forget about her but she's wrong.
End of Carter's POV
I was surprise when I opened the door to see that the person who knocked on the door was Vicky.
"I see you couldn't wait to see if inside my home is beautiful, smirked Charlie."
"I couldn't wait and my house is empty so I decided why not come see what chef brown is up to, stuttered Vicky."
"Lock the door please I'm gonna go check on my cookies and dinner, make yourself at home, Charlie spoke softly."
"Ah... Okay no problem, Vicky quickly responded."
Just in time the cookies were baked and smelled tasty that made my own mouth watered....
Seconds later Vicky walked in drooling am guessing because of the smell of my cooking lol.
"I see my cooking cause you to drool, Charlie smirked."
"It smells really good, Vicky said with a smile."
"Don't give me the credit yet, you haven't tasted it as yet, Charlie spoke up slowly."
After Vicky ate some of my cookies I offered her some of the spaghetti I made for my aunt.... She was impressed by my cooking because she literally squealed.
( crazy girl I know right).
I didn't eat any dinner because i normally wait until my aunt comes home from work.
I didn't get any homework so I just give Vicky a tour around the house...............
