  • The Immortal's Diary   October 1950

I transported to the year 1950 with people with me, now they left me... Well, I was used to being alone. I went to the basement to get the toolbox there. This day I will remove all the wooden planks nailed on my windows. The deafening silence was broken by the planks removed from the windows, and the cheers of people outside. The once gloomy house was now filled with light by the sun. It feels good.I removed my shirt to wipe my sweat off my body. That whole morning till early noon took me on removing all those barricades. For the first time after ten years I went out to the garden.Weeds outgrown my herbs and flowering plants.Dante followed me wagging his tail. I could say he was enjoying my company.I took the weeding tool in the cabinet. Those ten years sure do fixed my house. is my house immortal too?I brushed that thought and started weeding

I can't sleep well, it's twelve in the morning. Everybody was fast asleep and here I am wide awake.Maybe I could jump and fast forward things so I could save these people's lives.I slowly got up without awakening them and went to the secret door near the bathroom. I get my pocket watch from the bedside table and entered the door.I started thinking of what year we could jump, without turning the mortals to ashes.Leana was around 24 and Geanne was a week old.Moments later three consecutive bombs were thrown and had exploded, I heard the baby cried. Leana was in panic and I could hear she's calling my name.I am still here holding the pocket watch with my left hand, the diary clipped under my arm and the key in my pocket; I closed my eyes and started chanting:To thee I bestow my soul, sal

She's not even in the bathroom which is just adjacent to the stairs.I entered the bathroom with the child. I put down the infant next to the large basin, I get my towel to fixed myself, and get dressed when I plan to get upstairs.I went upstairs to search for his mom. He was angelic and silent. The wooden planks upstairs creeks as my bare foot steps. Few of the sun rays entered the few openings in the windows, which was covered by wooden planks.I just hope she hasn't left. I first passed the informal living room which I guess was never used unlike its counterpart, the formal one after the dining hall.I passed the living room, and the next roo

They say that he has invaded some of the European countries. What a pain. Now I am trapped again in a war between countries.First it was World War I and now, this.It was a cloudy Thursday, autumn was just around the corner. The sun was still nowhere to be seen. The house was only lit by few light bulbs and candles.People during the 1880's were great for inventing these stuff. Making our lives a bit at ease. But then this incident happened.Everyone was filled with anxiety and fear that the war will stay. Seems it won't end.I'm here at the basement, I stocked my shelves with clean waters and food. I could jump to a new age where good things stay, but I didn't.
