While going to his room, he can see the king's child crying in their room.

After a couple of minutes comforting them, he proceeds to go to his room and wear his armor.
Being helped by several nobles, wearing armor is not as hard as in the past.
After that, he goes to the yard and told someone to bring his horse, cisco.
Then he goes in front of everyone and proceeds to do a speech like he usually did.
"This is probably our last battle in victory, we could end the war with a truce, but the enemy did not want that to happen. So, him as a traitor, killed the king by impaling him, a traitor that betrayed his liege is not worthy to live any longer. Let's destroy them!! For the king!!" with all his 1000 troops, Arden will lead a battle against 7000 of them.
Out of the city of Kapot'es, he will win the battle which will be known as the battle of Kapot'es.
But he is thinking about how to set his army at a small hill and he decided to use the most common tactics.
Infantry in front and cavalry in the flank.
After some time of waiting, the opponent finally came to the field and set up his troops.
Like Arden did, the enemy set his army on a small hill too.
There are many strong points and weak points on both sides.
Their cavalry is not as strong as Arden's but Arden's troops are not as strong as theirs.
Whatever happened later, Arden must win. His thought there is some silent, waiting for the battle to start.
Then, a war horn can be heard in the distance and then, many people came charging his line. But Arden just told his men to hold still.
Arrow start flying from the archers and many of the enemies fell to the ground.
Then, they reached his line, their troop crashed with Arden's line of defence.
In the distance, some commander didn't commit their 2000 troops into the battle and stayed as a reserve.
With the archer support, Arden's army holds still and did not break.
30 mins, Ady lead the cavalries and the knights to attack the flank of enemy troops.
The enemy is broken right now, many ran away and many kept fighting but got taken out.
The casualties of the enemy are severe, but Arden's casualty is small.
Within 5 minutes, came another wave of enemy.
Same as the first wave, they got taken out within 30 mins.
Arden's commander reported that their troops are exhausted.
If there is another wave of enemy, Arden's army will not survive.
But, the worst came, there is another wave of enemy charging Arden.
They clashed, many people died on the clashing, but then something happens.
The reserve troops are being committed to battle, but they are not charging at Arden's army.
Instead, they are charging at their own, Arden realized this, he ordered all of his troops to break the line and charge the enemy.
The fighting was fierce, but Arden's side won the battle of Kapot'es.
The enemy general committed suicide.
When the battle is over, the army celebrated, some mourned the dead.
The nobles celebrated at the keep, Arden also invited the commander that helped Arden's side in the battle.
They drink till they are drunk, no one came back to their home sober that night.
The next day, Arden planned a meeting with the barbarians commander.
They met and shake each other hand and started the conversation.
"Nice to meet you, I'm Arden, a baron in the kingdom of Avalon."
"Nice to meet you too, I'm Kursk, a warlord of Norse"
"I'm going to ask you a question, why did you help us in the battle."
"I'm a loyal subject of my liege and he killed the king like he was a peasant."
"We are no longer at war, what do you think of an alliance with our kingdom?"
"That is possible, I hoped we can be a good ally" they talked to each other, and then. The commander mentions a plan to Arden.
He wanted to change how the military will work.
They talked for so long that they didn't realize it's already afternoon and they end the meeting.

Next day, they scheduled a meeting again, but this time with the former king's children.
They met in the same room and then started to introduce theirself.
"Good morning my lord, I'm Astrid, the oldest daughter of Barbaro." then she introduced his brothers
"This is Ragnar,12 years old, and this one is Erik, 10 years old" Ragnar with his brown hair and the red scorching eyes.
Meanwhile, Erik with his blond hair and the green eyes.
"We will discuss the new ruler now, these 2 boys are not a fit yet," said Arden, and both responded with.
"Indeed"
"It's easy to decide, Astrid will rule the kingdom until both of the boys turned 18 and Kursk will help Astrid," after that, they chatted for a bit before they parted way.
Arden is welcomed by the people at the city of Kapot'es, the city is at a better condition than before.
But then, all that begins must end, his stay there is not too long.
Arden stayed at Norse for a week before being called by the kings.
It took 11 days before reaching Atlan, the capital city.
Normally, Arden would just go to the throne's room but he insisted to rest for one night first.
After resting, he got to the throne room. In there, there is the noble Arden lead, the 3 dukes and many more nobles the king open his mouth
"Arden, baron of Aselwey, you are my loyal and brave knight, you even ended the war with both kingdom, we are in great relation with them now"

"Your reward is a piece of land called Aerdy near your land, just separated by a river" "thank you, your majesty"
"We are at peace now, go and manage your land" and then he started to clap and the other nobles soon followed him.
Now, Arden can return to his land.
