2020-09-17 23:00:14After the war ended, Arden came back to his land, the land of Aselwey.
But first, he needs to gather the soldiers that came from his land. Including the one from Aerdy.
Outside the castle, he gathered all his soldiers, knights and nobles at the plain land.
Without any tree there, he could clearly see and form up his army.
He then directed all of his soldiers to stand in lines based on from where they are.
With the knights standing in front of them and their liege standing in front and facing their own troops.
After 15 mins of people trying to figure out where they supposed to stand.
They finally have done directing their self. It's clear there is some line without any nobles in front of it.
Then Arden told the nobles to come to his side.
After that, he cleared his throat and then talk as loud as possible.
"in front of me, there is a veteran of a war, filled with experience, bravery and honour. Now, you all can go to your home and meet your family, I'm honoured to lead all of you again in the war." and now, he screamed at the top of his lung.
"for the kingdom!!!" all of the soldiers screamed the same things.
Then they go to their own way and there are 2 lines that stayed.
This is the soldiers from Aerdy and Aselwey, the land owned by Arden himself.
After counting all of his troops, he just said.
"let's go back to our home now" and all of them begin their journey back to their own homes.
Only 150 of them are left, 50 of them are Acroplos and archer.
After 2 days of marching, they finally reached their destination.
The soldiers from Aerdy split up and go back to their own house.
After the war, Arden needs to manage a lot of things.
He scheduled a journey to his new land, Aerdy. Which is 3 hours away.
The river separating 2 lands is hard to cross, so they needed to take the mountain way.
This is one of the problems, Arden will need to construct transportation.
The one that can transport them to the other side of the river.
But he will think of that later. He has an important visit now.
3 hours have passed, and he only saw a small town surrounded by farm.
There is barely enough water to farm at this place. Many crops died.
He entered the town, the town itself is in a worse state, many homeless people and beggar.
He encountered a person getting dragged by people from a restaurant.
And the people from the restaurant is getting more aggressive.
They took rocks from the roads. The man on the ground just turn his back to them to protect himself then he screams out to stop them from doing so.
"Stop!" and got down from his horse, several people from his party did the same.
Then he asked the people from the restaurant.
"What did he do to deserve that kind of treatment?" To which they responded with.
"He tried to steal our food,"
"I'll pay for him" they looked shocked and then.
"that would be 2 ens" 1 aurens equal to 10 rens and 1 rens equal to 10 ens Arden proceed to give the money to the people from the restaurant.
Then they left.
He helped the man to stand up, and he said "thank you for helping me my lord, I will do everything for you as my gratitude," "follow me and guide me to look around our town," Arden then got on his horse and continue going to the keep.
He reached the keep of the town, where he was greeted by the knights living in Aerdy.
He comes inside and tells the homeless guy to stand in front of the keep until he was done.
Once inside, he looked at the surroundings, and it's pretty messed up.
He told all the knights there that they will do a meeting to discuss about the land.
The meeting will begin once all the knight sits at the table.
The table itself is in the shape of a rectangle.
There is the seat for knights in the sides and a seat for the one owning the land at the end of the table.
For some reason Arden didn't know, a knight just took the seat at the end that is supposed to be for Arden.
Arden then let out a loud sound.
"Ahem!" to which it's ignored and then Arden tried again with.
"Excuse me" "what do you want lowly peasant, you thought that this seat is for you?" Arden is shocked with the response, then a knight from the sides trying to say something.
But getting cut off by this one knight.
Then he continues teaching Arden the way that the system of nobility work.
A good 10 minutes after that, he said.
"You didn't know who I am?"
"Why would I know a lowly peasant" after saying that, he laughed.
Arden got agitated from the start, and just said.
"I'm Arden, the new owner of this land, I don't believe my knights to be like you. I didn't even see your face on the battlefield. From now, don't call your self a knight any more, your lands will be given to others. Get out of here and never show your face to me again you wicked person," the man showed a shocked face as he turns to white pale.
He just stands up and left the room. Arden then sat down and said "let's start the meeting gentlemen" they started the meeting with 10 minutes delay.
"I have seen many problems with this land, I'll make a list of it" first, transportation second, irrigation third, the town fourth, the keep the knights looked at the list and start discussing.
After an hour of meeting, the finally found the solutions to all the problems.
For the first problem, they will build a bridge at the river and connect both of the lands.
For the second problem, they will improve irrigation by making canals around the farming area.
For the third problem, they will build several new big houses that can house the homeless.
For the fourth problem, they will repair the keep after all the other problems were solved.
